Consumer Complaint: I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the multiple unsuccessful attempts to correct the late opening of my account and remove public records from my credit report. Despite numerous requests for resolution, the issues persist, causing significant distress and negatively impacting my financial standing. I initiated the process to open an account with your institution. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the account opening was delayed, leading to the imposition of a late open status. Additionally, public records have appeared on my credit report, further complicating my financial situation. Subsequently, I have made several attempts to rectify these issues by reaching out to your customer service department, submitting formal requests, and adhering to the prescribed procedures for addressing such matters. Regrettably, each attempt to correct the late opening of my account and remove the public records has been met with inefficiencies, delays, and a lack of tangible progress. This has not only caused considerable inconvenience but has also raised serious concerns about the effectiveness of your institution 's handling of customer concerns. I wish to highlight the following issues : 1. Communication Delays : There has been a significant lapse in communication regarding the status of correcting the late opening of my account and removing the public records. Timely updates are crucial for maintaining customer confidence and ensuring transparency. 2. Inconsistent Information : I have received conflicting information from different representatives, leading to confusion and frustration. Consistency in communication is imperative for a smooth resolution process. 3. Lack of Follow-Up : Despite assurances of follow-up, there has been a lack of proactive communication and action to ensure the prompt resolution of my concerns. I understand that administrative errors can occur, but the repeated nature of these oversights and the lack of satisfactory resolution are disconcerting. As a customer, I expect a higher standard of service, transparency, and a commitment to resolving issues promptly. I am formally requesting an immediate and thorough investigation into the reasons for the delays and inconsistencies in correcting the late opening of my account and removing the public records. Furthermore, I expect a clear and detailed plan outlining the steps your credit bureau will take to rectify these situations promptly and prevent similar occurrences in the future. If my concerns are not addressed satisfactorily, I may have no choice but to explore alternative avenues, including reporting this matter to relevant regulatory bodies and consumer protection agencies. I am asking for your assistance to correct these late open accounts and removed the public record in my credit file : XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Balance Owed : {$1000.00} I do not believe I was late on the dates you are reporting. Please report the payment status positive and update all late from reporting on this account. XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Balance Owed : {$2100.00} You are reporting different information from other bureaus. Per FCRA, reporting must be 100 % accurate or the information must be updated. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX The bankruptcy is reported beyond the permissible time limit. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), bankruptcy information should be removed from my credit report. Please investigate and rectify this discrepancy.
