Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NY XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, TX XXXX I am writing to file a formal complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding their unauthorized sharing of my nonpublic personal information with no-affiliated third parties and consumer reporting agencies. I have appropriate steps to exercise my rights under 15 USC 6802 of the Gramm-Leach-bliley Act ( GLBA ) to opt out of such information sharing and I believe my privacy rights have been violated. On XX/XX/2024 i notified XXXX XXXX XXXX that I am opting out of any and all authorizations, whether written, unwritten, verbal, or non-verbal, for sharing of my nonpublic personal information with no affiliated third parties, including consumer reporting agencies, for any purpose other than those necessary to provide me with financial products or services. I provided this opt-out in accordance with the legal requirements outlined in 15 USC 6802 , and I have retained documentation of my communication with the institution. Despite my explicit opt-out request and my clear assertion of my rights under the GLBA, I have reason to believe that XXXX XXXX XXXX has continued to furnish my nonpublic personal information to non-affiliated third parties and consumer reporting agencies without consent. This unauthorized sharing of my personal information constitutes a serious violation of my privacy rights and a breach of federal law. I am deeply concerned about the potential consequences of this unauthorized sharing, including the potential for identity theft, fraud or other financial harm. I kindly request that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure that XXXX XXXX XXXX complies with all federal regulations and laws including GLBA, to protect the privacy and information security of consumers like me. Additionally, i would appreciate regular updates on the progress of this investigation and any actions taken to address the violation committed by XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX

Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I lodged a complaint with these Bureaus a month ago, but unfortunately, the inaccurate information on my report still remains. I haven't received any communication from the Bureaus, except for the notification that you sent stating that the company has responded to my complaint. How can I be certain that they have thoroughly checked the inaccuracies on my report? What methods did they employ to validate the accounts? This whole situation is incredibly frustrating! It's been more than 30 days since I filed a complaint with these Bureaus, and yet the disputed accounts have not been updated. If this continues, I will have no choice but to take legal action due to the immense stress this has caused me. Moreover, I am also concerned about the security of my personal data, as it was affected by the XXXX, XXXX, and Transunion data breach.
