According to the Cares ACT, the CARES Act states if you make a debt-relief agreement, that creditor must continue to report the debt as current. Therefore, no late payments should reflect my credit file during that time. I contest that creditor remove all late payment history as soon as possible to be in compliance with the federal law. Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report

Consumer Complaint: Dear Credit Credit Bureaus, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the handling of my disputes regarding XXXX accounts that I strongly believe to be fraudulent and the result of identity theft. The accounts in question are XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Despite multiple attempts to bring this matter to your attention, I have yet to see any meaningful resolution. I have repeatedly requested information under UCC 11 to validate these accounts, but to no avail. It is deeply concerning that despite my efforts, these fraudulent accounts remain on my record, in clear violation of federal laws. Furthermore, I have submitted an affidavit of identity theft, providing clear evidence of the fraudulent nature of these accounts. However, it appears that this important documentation has been disregarded, and a proper investigation into the matter has not been conducted. This failure to address my concerns could potentially lead to legal repercussions, and I am deeply troubled by the lack of action on your part. I am formally requesting that these fraudulent accounts be promptly removed from my credit report, and that all necessary updates be made without further delay. Enclosed with this letter, you will find a copy of the affidavit of identity theft that I previously submitted for your reference. Please be advised that this is my final attempt to resolve this matter amicably before considering taking legal action. I am well aware of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), and I will not hesitate to pursue all available legal avenues to ensure that my dispute is handled properly and in accordance with the law. I urge you to take immediate action to address this situation and rectify the errors on my credit report. I expect a prompt response within [ specify a reasonable timeframe ] confirming the removal of these fraudulent accounts. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your swift resolution of this issue. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX Enclosure : Affidavit of Identity Theft Social security number Lease with address

Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem

Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days

Consumer Complaint: I have already sent a letter addressing the inaccuracies and unknown items on my credit report, but unfortunately, I have not received any response even after 30 days. It feels like I'm being taken advantage of and my disputes are being ignored. According to Section 611 ( a ), if these items are not investigated within 30 days, they should be promptly removed from my credit report. Since it has been over 30 days, I expect these accounts to be updated immediately. If not, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action due to the stress this situation has caused me. Additionally, my information was also affected by the XXXX, XXXX, and Transunion data breach, which raises concerns about the security of my personal data.
