Consumer Complaint: TD bank, XXXX XXXX, NY closed my all my bank accounts, black listed me from all their systems without giving me any reason/explanation. They didnt even notify me. They did send a mail but that had my husbands account number on that letter. So I thought its my husband 's account what will be closed. On the final day of closing account, one of the TD rep informally told me it was due to some cash transaction and no satisfactory explanation, my account is closed. We were saving money for a downpayment for home buying. I got some cash deposited to my account and at that time XX/XX/, the branch manager called me and I gave him all the explanation he asked for. Told him it was for a downpayment I collected cash, the manager was satisfied but apparently he didnt record that explanation with my account. Apparently which caused this confusion/closing account. During closing my account Td bank representation told me she is not seeing any explanation related to my cash transaction. I think this is not fair they closed my account due to branch manager failed to take note of my explanation. I gave them explanation for whatever they asked me but still they closed my account without notifying me. This caused me lot of family issues.

This after being a TD Bank customer for approximately 8 years. I've tried multiple times to receive additional information behind the closure, none has been provided up until this point. Instead, its been insinuated that the interest rate on my TD mortgage may be impacted as I may have been receiving a discounted rate due to my other relationships with the bank. I've confirmed that I have a 30 year fixed mortgage rate and found no basis behind this insinuation. This is a highly stressful position to be in, especially if it could potentially impact my home/family. Please help.

XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX When the lady called for the third time I informed i have spoken to them 3 times already today and I feel I m being harassed the representative continued with questions and stated I didn't want a call which is not what was stated. I informed her of my rights and the law and she continued with her line of questions and I told her the call is being recorded and she don't have the right to harass me she can call tomorrow. I read the law to her and she continued still. She stated she will make note and I informed her I will seek assistant and that is when she decided to end the call. I m aware of my debt and have the intentions to make a payment on tomorrow but I don't want my rights as a individual to be violated.

After a couple days of not being to access my account, I went in the bank and was notified that my account is under review, but did not have any information back. The bank teller requested more information, 4 months later I hear nothing back. I go back to the branch and Im informed that my account has been closed and the money will not be returned to me. We were contacted the beginning of XXXX by a new prospective customer. After much communication, the product seemed to be paid for with CC. I used the customers money to contract the shipper and send wire transfer ; which was on XX/XX/XXXX. I received an email from an unknown company almost immediately that I sent the transfer to a fraudulent company. I called the branch and the CS rep told me the receiving party would have to approve the return of my funds. I said that is ridiculous if this is a scam. Later on Thursday, I contacted my bank via email because they were closed asking if I could put funds on hold. I was getting no response from the bank. I then received an email from the " transport company '' saying that my payment was rejected because of incorrect amount. I sent another email to CS rep at bank and told him that the payment was rejected so I should be able to get my money back. Next email from transport company said payment was sent back to my bank. But I never received that money back. The bank said they put a wire recall request in but never communicated from that point. I was so frustrated that they couldn't help me, I closed my account at that bank.

Consumer Complaint: TD Bank fraud department suspended my checking account # XXXX erroneously based on suspected fraud. While I appreciate reasonable efforts to keep customer deposits safe, in this case the bank made an error and has been unresponsive for two weeks, despite my repeated efforts to address this. The situation is unacceptable and has resulted in economic damages, because I do not have access to my money in the account. For context, I recently rented out my apartment and opened this TD basic checking account for all income and expenses related to this rental unit. I deposited two certified checks provided by my tenant. One check was for the security deposit ( check # XXXX for the amount of {$3500.00} ), and the second check was for first months rent ( check # XXXX for the amount of {$3500.00} ). I deposited them on XX/XX/23 and XX/XX/23, respectively. Shortly thereafter, I discovered I could not access my account ( online, via the mobile banking app, or via ATM ). After several calls to customer service, I visited the bank branch located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY, NY XXXX and contacted my primary branch located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY, NY XXXX. The branch manager at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, has not been able to resolve this with the fraud department, despite her relentless efforts on my behalf. At this point, the bank has essentially stolen {$7000.00} from me. The bank has taken no action to remedy the situation despite the fact that I have verified my identity as the proper account holder. The two checks I deposited were also cashiers checks, certified by the tenants bank. I find the banks behavior truly unprofessional and unacceptable. I have been trying to solve this with TD bank directly by calling all TD bank numbers I possibly think of ( general customer service numbers, resolution help number, etc ) and by going to the branch in person, but unsuccessfully. I need TD bank Fraud Department to release and unfreeze my account immediately. And, TD bank needs to create a live Fraud Department hotline where customers can call and ask for help. Best, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I have been attempting to get TD Bank to send me my monthly mortgage statements for over a year. I had previously been in the loss mitigation process with TD Bank, with my modification having been approved in XXXX, XXXX. Over the course of the past year, I have contacted TD Bank on numerous occasions both by phone and in writing to request that they send me my mortgage statements as required by law. By rule of law, specifically under 12 CFR 1026.41 ( a ) ( 2 ), mortgage lenders and servicers are required to furnish billing statements to the borrower/customer. TD Bank has made myriad excuses as to their failure to provide billing statements, and continues to fail to send the statements. I am requesting that TD Bank immediately resume the timely mailing of mortgage statements, as well as furnish all statements generated after XX/XX/XXXX. This is the third complaint I am forced to file against TD Bank due to their inability to adequately carry about basic functions on the loan and perform rudimentary servicing.
