Consumer Complaint: When I recently applied for a new mortgage it was discovered that my identity had been stolen and someone had opened a Nordstrom store card under my information and then purchased items, charged-off, and was sold to collections. I notified the 3 Credit Reporting Agencies and Nordstrom 's fraud department. The fraud department had me send a photocopy of my ID in along with a statement that the purchases were not mine and that I had not opened a card with them. I have tried to follow up several times with the Fraud department and each time they repeat that they have been sending physical mail which I am not receiving. They have also claimed I will need to work with the collections company separately. The issue is Nordstrom is the party responsible for not performing due diligence and issuing fraudulent credit and then selling that fraudulent credit to a 3rd party. Nordstrom should be responsible AND helpful in the process. My credit report shows all paid as agreed ( never a single delinquency ) prior to this fraud. I would also expect them to be able to pull the location the card was opened such as physical store or IP address to show it was not me.

Consumer Complaint: Hello XXXX XXXX, I believe that TD Bank / Card Services discriminates against minority customers and provides false information regarding denial of services. I cancelled my credit card with them today, XX/XX/19, because I was falsely denied my request for a credit line increase. Their excuse was my credit report from XXXX showed " multiple delinquent accounts '' however, when I logged into my XXXX account there were no such delinquencies. Neither were there any delinquencies in my XXXX or XXXX reports. I spoke to supervisors in TD Customer Service and XXXX in TD Credit Services who both contradicted one another. I then contacted XXXX and spoke to their fraud department who confirmed that are no such delinquencies in my credit report and could not explain how TD Card Services came to their decision. This is actually the second time, I've been denied a credit line increase by TD Card Services. I was denied XX/XX/2019 because my account had apparently not been opened long enough and I was told I could reapply after XX/XX/2019. Not only has my credit score gone up since my initial request for a credit line increase but I actually was approved and received an XXXX XXXX credit card with a higher credit line at the end of XX/XX/2019. This is the 3rd time that TD Card Services have engaged in improper business practices. They initially ruled in favor of a merchant in regards to a transaction dispute and didn't notify me of their decision. TD then reversed their decision 2 days after I paid the remaining balance and again, did not notify me of THAT decision until after I called to inquire why I had a {$900.00} balance. Then when I requested the balance be returned to me, they did not do so until nearly 2 1/2 weeks later and after I made numerous inquiries as to when they mailed that payment out.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX a 3rd party collections company for Target sent a collections letter to an address I had not lived in since the year XXXX, the notice was sent in XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX the company proceeded to serve a person at the address that is unknown to me. They fraudulently obtained a judgement against me for {$2400.00} in XX/XX/XXXX. I discovered this judgement in XX/XX/XXXX when I was looking for records for a family member. The company mailed in XX/XX/XXXX, a new service for renewal of judgment to the same old address that I have not resided in since XXXX. After reviewing County Records I discovered that the person they claimed to have served in XX/XX/XXXX did not reside that the address where notices have been said to be personally delivered to this unknown women.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I called to TD bank regarding my business account ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and ask to put stop payment on transaction I said name of the debtor and exact amount ( {$4700.00} ). Representative from a bank told me ok and its a stop payment fee I agreed. Same day I saw stop payment on my business account which is ok On XX/XX/XXXX I saw in my business account that transaction which i put a stop payment is pending and bank paying this I immediately contact assistant branch manager came to the bank and she start working on my account to fix that. She spoke with supervisor small business support and supervisor form ACH department everybody told her that transaction will go back and they will stop this transaction. Next day XX/XX/2016 transaction still there. This transaction was very big amount of money and my account balance was not enough to cover that transaction I was mentioned that to bank representative before I even put a stop payment. But they honored that transaction even i have an insufficient funds to cover that .Monday we contact TD bank again and they told us ( me and a assistant branch manager ) the can not do nothing.I just open a dispute but they told me its probably useless???

Consumer Complaint: This letter is regarding an ongoing problem I have encountered from Target for the past three and a half years. I opened a line of credit with Target in XX/XX/XXXX ; account number ending in XXXX. Although I have been a loyal trustworthy customer since XX/XX/XXXX and have never missed a payment ; Target is reporting my account CLOSED! This has been the reporting since XX/XX/XXXX. The irony in this is Target is reporting 40 plus on time payments. I am completely exhausted with this situation. I have put them on notice that I will be forced to report this to the consumer protection agency. I have put in over 10 or more disputes with Target in addition to XXXX. I spoke with someone from XXXX XXXX and the agent told me that although they can clearly see that the information is conflicting because how can I be using my credit card in addition to paying the bill every month on a closed account for three plus years. XXXX XXXX also stated they can not change inaccurate information unless Target agree that the information is in fact incorrect. Well to make a long story short Im at the end of my rope with this unprofessionalism. I even went so far as to request a new card number thinking maybe this will initiate some type of change in the reporting. Now Target is not reporting at all! I can not call this company anymore, I have put in hours and hours of my time with this foolishness! I just cant do it anymore, everyone I have talk to dont seem to have the ability or the authority to fix this problem. Deviating from their script is somewhat difficult for Target 's customer service representatives. Therefore, I find myself at your mercy.. I hope and pray this letter finally ends up in competent hands. I expected a much higher level of service from Target, and I am quite disappointed. Because I do not want to spend any more time on this problem, I hope you can help! PLEASE DO NOT let them say that they are reporting because they are not! This is what they have been telling me for 3 years every month to get me off the phone. They will attempt to say they are putting in a dispute and I should wait until the XXXX of the month to see the correction.. and the XXXX comes around and the same old XXXX! NOTHING!!! NO CHANGE!

Consumer Complaint: To Whom it may concern : In XX/XX/2019 I moved to XXXX, the XXXX for a new job. In XX/XX/2019, I lost my wallet. I called all of my credit card companies and reported that I had lost my wallet. With some of the companies, I had no issue getting a new credit card sent to my new address in XXXX and others I had a little more trouble with. Since my TD Bank credit card was one that I had trouble receiving at my new address, I figured that I'd wait until I returned back to the US to pick the credit card up then. On XX/XX/2019, I called into TD bank to have my card mailed to my US address so that I would be able to pick it up from my house while home for XXXX. Upon speaking with an agent they informed me that TD bank had closed my card and would not be reissuing me a new one. I then spoke to the " supervisor on duty '' who informed me that TD had chosen to not reissue my card due to the card not being used enough. When I explained that I had lost the card when I first moved overseas he simply stated he was sorry and that if I want the card back that I would need to reapply. I'm writing this complaint because I believe my card was unjustly shut down. I'm still making payments on the card, I like the credit card and the fact that I haven't " used it in a long time '' seems like a very soft reason to shut it down. Furthermore, how do you expect someone to use their credit card if you don't ship it to their address outside of the country? I have the police report from the city of XXXX and will be submitting a copy in order to corroborate this information. Again, I feel as though my credit card account was unjustly shut down and would like to have it reopened. Thank you for your time, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I have TD Unsecure Credit Card Since XX/XX/2008 to present and I have total credit line approved at time of application was {$11000.00} and since then it went well never had any issue with it. they review credit card periodically and made decision either raise credit card limit or decrease credit limit. In my case they review in the past and neither they increase credit limit nor decrease credit limit. recently they review my account and decrease my credit line from {$11000.00} to {$9200.00} and they use XXXX Consumer reporting agency ( I complained previously against XXXX through CFPB ) show the reason is ( 1 ) SERIOUS DELINQUENCY ( 2 ) YOU ARE NOT PAYING DOWN YOUR BALANCE FAST ENOUGH, ( 3 ) PART OF YOUR ACCOUNT BALANCE IS MADE OF CASH ADVANCES. this type of reason first time in 11 years of my this account and I always pays on time payment history is 100 %. Now when I called and Spoke to person ( XXXX ) suggest me to submit application for credit line increase which is go to HARD INQUIRY and they already took action cause my credit score drop and my Utilization ratio increase due to credit line decrease on this account.

Consumer Complaint: This is a complaint against TD AUTO FINANCE. The reason why I am writing this complaint is because on my XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX credit report on XX/XX/2019. This enquiry was not authorized by me, this was done under fraud. I will brief, I am victim of identity theft and in this complaint I will submit all the documents necessary to verify that this enquiry was not done by my person. For the past couple years i have been victim of identity theft, and these false enquiries have been popping up on my credit report. When this specific enquiry happened I wasn't even in the U.S. when this happened. I am bringing this to the attention of the CFPB because when I tried to requested directly with the credit agencies and their response was that I had to do it directly with the companies that I asked them from. The most alarming thing is that hopefully no fraudulent accounts were open.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 an inquiry from TD Retail Card Services appeared on my credit report. This inquiry was a result of fraud. It was disputed and removed from my credit report on XX/XX/2019. Later that week, TD Retail Card Services was reporting a TD XXXX XXXX credit account on my credit report. This account was then disputed and now is being reported as valid by XXXX. XXXX and XXXX have resolved the account and removed it. XXXX will not properly assist. If the inquiry was disputed as fraud and removed, what makes you think the account is valid? Please assist.
