Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I went into the inside teller at a TD bank location in XXXX XXXX Florida. Address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Florida XXXX. At around XXXX XXXX est time to make a cash deposit in the ATM machine. During that time I made a big cash deposit around XXXX $ mixed bills 100s 50s and 20s. Around XXXX est time. The machine was still processing the funds. Immediately reached out to an employees that was still in the branch. I told him the situation. He went to get another employee the employee assisted with seeing how much the machine took. I told him a rough estimate. I was going to deposit a total of {$5600.00}. The machine took between XXXX . The representative told me to pull to the window to get my information. I deposited the remaining money I had on me. He took my information told me to go into the branch in the morning to get it handled. I was informed if the atm is over during the morning they would know whos account the money belongs to and it would be taken care of. I am opening this case now to be safe if the issue is not resolved. Multiple cameras including the ATM have me on video. So it should not be complicated to credit my account. Poor quality machine hindering my opportunity to pay my bills.

Consumer Complaint: We opened a joint checking account with TD bank in XXXX XXXX XXXX, Florida in early XXXX. When we opened the account we were told by the branch personnel that a 30-day hold would be placed on our deposits because we were a new customer to them. More than 30 days has elapsed since we opened the account and the bank is still holding our deposits, and not giving us an adequate explanation for the holds. We are now unwilling to deposit any more money into this account because of the arbitrary hold policy ( whatever it may be from day to day ). We deposited 4 checks ( total deposit {$5900.00} ) on XX/XX/2020. We have a receipt showing the deposit, along with copies of each check. One of the checks ( amount {$4200.00} ) was from my Pension custodian ( XXXX ). We have been informed by the local branch personnel that TD bank 's internal bank Fraud Operations department took issue with this particular check for some reason, but capriciously placed a deposit hold or the entire deposit amount. We have received a letter from that department to this effect, and have discussed the matter with the local branch personnel to attempt to get it resolved. As of this date the hold remains in place, in spite of the fact that the check has long since cleared the Federal Reserve System. The local branch personnel are sympathetic but unable to effectively negotiate with the Fraud Operations department to resolve the issue. What are my options for recourse? When will the bank stop subjecting us to unreasonably withholding access to our funds? I have no confidence that this bank will fairly treat us in the future, and we plan to move our account elsewhere immediately.

Consumer Complaint: My work is such that I get a paper paycheck as I am a XXXX XXXX who works under contracted agency. Thus I get paychecks for different customers. My paycheck a month ago was held for over a week! I was not told or informed at all, that my paycheck would be held that long. I have bills to pay and can not afford to consistently have all my paychecks held al least a week! Friday the XXXX of XXXX, my first paycheck with my employer was held for over a week before my own hard earning money was released to me! It happened to me again! I was paid on Friday XX/XX/XXXX, and put my check into my account. I called the bank to make certain this would not happened again and the representative with whom I spoke, assured me that my funds would be available the next morning. When I woke the next morning I immediately checked my available balance to only find yet again, a long hold put on my paycheck again! My account is overdrawn again with {$35.00} fee attached to each transaction. I simply can not go on having my paychecks held over and over for at least a week, and not being told. I can not live that way, as I am certain no one else can as well! It's simply greedy of TD Bank to do that in order to gain interest on my money!

Consumer Complaint: An order was placed on an online website and I never received any item I filed a dispute and the dispute was never investigated deep enough. And the investigator took this situation personal .. she was not believing what happened.. asked me to resolve the issue myself and that since it was ordered from my IP address I was reliable .. she advised to file a police report I did and I sent all The paperwork she needed and still was not investigated. She even said the merchant was not providing her with any tracking number of proof that this item was mailed to me and I still was found reliable. I contacted the merchant and was advised I was going to get a refund and I ever heard back from them ...

Consumer Complaint: I opened a TD checking account in XX/XX/2019 because of a promotion they were running for a TD Beyond Checking stating only two direct deposits above {$2500.00} total were needed to qualify for a {$300.00} introductory bonus. After fulfilling the requirements well over the amounts and direct deposits required I waited 3 months and did not receive anything. I began to message them on their secured message server and separately confirming the promotion via their customer service representatives on the phone. Every time I called the representative assured me I would be receiving the bonus in the next week, and that I should call again in 7-10 days. After repeating this process 6-8 times and receiving different answers to why I havent received the offer a representative and manager told me they could no longer find the promotion running during the period that I opened the account ( which was the entire reason I chose this bank other than ATM fee reimbursement ) Today I have emptied the account and I am submitting this claim to see if there is any hope in keeping the relationship with the bank. Hopefully someone at the CFPB can help

Consumer Complaint: TD Bank would not give me my money back from fraudulent transactions. XX/XX/2019 I used my card at the bank atm about XXXX XXXX. I dropped the card right outside of the bank as well as my phone. I had to wait for the bank to open to report this and turn off my card. By then over {$200.00} was gone. two {$40.00} meals at XXXX and over {$100.00} at XXXX XXXX. I disputed this the bank refused to give me my money back because they said no one attempted to use the card after they issued me a new one. I was honest and I really would like my money back.
