Consumer Complaint: When retrieving my credit report of XX/XX/2019 on XXXX I noticed irregularities which led me to find out I am in fact a victim of identity theft. There has been several charges made on multiple credit cards of mine and then finding out of new accounts that I never opened. I did NOT make these transactions nor open any new accounts. This was definitely a direct result of identity theft. It has now come to my attention that my former roommate, XXXX XXXX with whom I moved in with after separating from wife, XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/19. XXXX has called several furnishers to retrieve information and opened new accounts without my consent. XXXX preyed on my emotions at a very vulnerable time and as soon as I started to suspect irregularities in my financial portfolio, she took her son out of school and moved to XXXX XXXX, NV, I believe living with a grandmother that resides there. I have read The guidelines for the procedure by the FTC and have taken all measures necessary. In addition, I filed 2 police reports in both towns I live/lived for theft and fraud, have put fraud alerts on my credit report with all 3 bureaus, informed all necessary parties of the identity theft and have written letters to all furnishes and the bureaus. As a direct result of this I have lost {$50000.00} and have had hundreds of inquiries falsely made under my name. Today I still receive calls from debt collectors and loan officers. It has been a horrific year to say the least. I have ignorantly now fully educated myself on cyber crimes and the measures one takes to secure and recover their credit. I hope that I am given a refund for the money that the individual has stolen without my consent and my credit report will be corrected appropriately. I also would like to let people know that you dont know when it may happen or even if it will happen at all to you so now being a victim of identity theft I can only suggest to everyone to educate yourself on identity theft and take action to protect yourself. And hopefully together we can fight against cyber crimes.

Consumer Complaint: a person who I don't know, went into the TD Bank Branch in XXXX Pa and took a standard deposit slip accidently wrote my checking account number on the deposit slip and deposited XXXX into my account. now my question is, why the teller didn't verify the person on the account when the person gave her the cash and deposit slip, certainly she typed in the account number, instead they just processed the transaction. so when I went into my account online, naturally I saw the transaction, printed the deposit slip and receipt of the transaction and took it to the TD Bank Branch in XXXX XXXX XXXX, Pa, where I work. and XXXX told me that it would be corrected in 30 minutes. that was at approximately XXXX XXXX. it was corrected, but I am fearful now that some stranger has my account number on the deposit receipt he acquired after the transaction. my complaint is that no one verified who this person was or the account information with him.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2020, I discovered that an unknown person had access to my bank account. My bank account had to be closed and another account with a new number was opened. I went online to Nordstrom to update my banking information. I attempted to delete my old bank account but was unable to do so. XX/XX/XXXX, I made a payment for {$50.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, I made a payment for {$300.00}. Unbeknownst to me, I made a payment from the closed account which was the default account ; making me 63 days past due. My statements are set to be delivered via email ; however, did not look at them as I have paid my bill every month on time without issue. I did not receive a phone call from Nordstrom about being 63 days late until XX/XX/2020. I saw the negative marks on my credit report, contacted Nordstrom and they were unable to help me. I have talked to Nordstrom customer service about have the 30-day late mark removed, however they explained that they are unable to do so. I have since deleted my old bank account and brought my account current. The 30-day late payment has dropped my credit score 43 points and it has had a negative impact on my life. I am requesting that the 30-day late payment be removed as soon as possible. I have tried to work with Nordstrom to no avail. I have never missed a payment or made a late payment to Nordstrom and I would like the mistake to be cleared up.

Consumer Complaint: I have an account with XXXX XXXX and I had always made a payment on a timely manner. Unfortunately, around XX/XX/2019, I tried for them to lower my monthly payment to $ 150-200 monthly instead of {$550.00}, however they refused. So I had a past due balance and when I finally started making payment again in the amount of {$260.00}, they still not reporting it to the credit bureaus as they have promised me that, if I start making payment, it will help me. Due to their failure of accuracy report, I am currently having a bad credit report which leads to three of my major credit cards decreasing my limits from {$8000.00} to {$500.00}. I am catching hard times and they are refusing to lower my monthly payments. At this point, I dont know what to do, I am living on the edge, because I am a single mother of XXXX young children and my credit cards have been helping me a lots, due to failed business venture and lack of regular child support. Please help me because each time I called, someone different is telling me something different. They never told me my account has been changed off but still collect my payment and they charged it off for the same amount of the loan which was given to me, although I have be making payment.
