Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I purchased an item through lay-way from XXXX XXXX on this date I made a payment of {$100.00}. Prior to the payment I made another payment completing the amount for the Merchandise which was on XX/XX/2020 in an amount of {$1100.00}. XXXX XXXX refunded me the total amount of {$1200.00} to my account on XX/XX/2020. My card had a hold on it due to the amount of money being refunded back to the card to verify if I made that purchase. When the hold was lifted I noticed the amount wasn't added to my card. I called to verify about the amount. Representative explained to me that the money was sent back to the merchant on XX/XX/2020 as adjustment debit, due the fact the card only had a limit of {$1000.00} for returns. I've followed up with both merchant an TD paycard services to resolve the issue of my money but I haven't been able to get a answer as to where my money is at.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I sent a wire to an account holder at TD bank I have sent a similar wire to TD bank using the identical information on 10 other occasions without any incident. On XX/XX/2020 TD bank sent a return wire to me of the original amount less a {$40.00} fee When I inquired as to why my wire was not accepted, TD bank would not assist. They would not even investigate my concern. When I inquired why TD bank charged a fee on my wire they acknowledged they likely charged a fee but refused to advise why. The {$40.00} fee was charged by TD bank and not my bank. When I asked for this to be escalated to a manager, the online phone representative who would only identify herself as " XXXX '' refused to escalate this. When requested, she would not provide any other identifying information about her name or the call number. " XXXX '' did state she checked with her supervisor who refused to get on the phone but directed my to a local branch to log a complaint when I expressed my concern about being sent to a branch in the midst of Covid-19, XXXX expressed indifference and again refused to assist in any way

Consumer Complaint: TD Bank checking acct with XXXX balance keeps charging XXXX monthly fee,. Wrote 2 letters to them to close acct with XXXX bal. They do not. Last month I sent a check for 2 months fees and again said to close acct. Now I get a 3rd notice for 3 months of fees for XXXX. They never even deposited the check to my XXXX checking acct. Company has worst cust service. No chat/call wait times horrible and do not respond to my letters. Should be closed down for cheating customers.
