Consumer Complaint: I am so disgusted by this! I tried to pay my bill multiple times by logging in on the due date and by XXXX XXXX XXXX on the due date after I finally got into my account I was forced by their system to submit payment on the XXXX even though it is barely in the evening here on the XXXX! Because they don't take into account time zones and punish you for being several time zones away in the Pacific they are summarily requesting payment a day earlier. Even though I made my card payment on the XXXX and tried unsuccessfully to do so earlier I was charged a late fee of {$30.00} when I clearly and absolutely wasn't late and payment was submitted on the XXXX!

I inquired about the days of delinquency, I was told by the agent that at the time of payment that the account was at 29 days. I filed a police report and went to TD bank and filed disputes for everything and they said that it was a lot of money so it would take a while, months and months have gone by and still no word on my money. They are pretty much saying I wont be refunded. I talked to a lawyer and he said that the person who scammed me is probably in another country so it would be hard to catch him.

Consumer Complaint: I consolidated all my credit debt at the end of 2022. My bank paid off the remaining balance to TD BANK, who held my XXXX XXXX account. TD BANK then canceled my automatic payments without notifying me in any form. They then allowed XXXX to continue charging a XXXX XXXX monthly insurance charge. They NEVER notified me that they canceled my auto payment, so when I received a statement each month I assumed it was taken care of, by the system that I had set up ahead of time. After being royally screwed over by this credit company, I understand that I should have been more proactive in making sure the auto payment processed, but I find it completely unethical, crooked, shady, that they can cancel my automatic payments without notifying me. I have had Auto payments set on everything for years. This missed payment is NOT my fault, bc if the credit company had notifed me that they CANCELED MY AUTO PAY, I would have made sure to make the payments myself. Not only that, but when another account of mine slipped to just 30 days late due to recent financial hardships brought on by this credit crisis, that creditor called me, texted me and emailed me immediately. TD BANK did not even try to get in contact with me. They did this very much on purpose. I had enough money, the credit card company just didn't do a very good job on their end to collect it. In fact, they literally prevented themselves from collecting it by canceling payments. it was done intentionally, like retaliation, to try to collect interest bc I paid off the account EARLY. I know XXXX XXXX and XXXX did similar to their customers. I believe that is what TD BANK did to me, something shady and unethical. After my debt consolidation, my credit score was XXXX. After TD BANK canceled my auto pay, it dropped to XXXX. It's been 10 months since TD BANK RUINED MY LIFE, and my credit score is only back to XXXX. I worked hard my entire adult life to build a good credit score, my mother always told me I would never be good with money and I'd probably have horrible credit, so I did it to spite her. This is completely unfair and has severely negatively impacted my life. I can't even afford to finance a car because of how high interest rates are for my credit score. I've been rejected for a school loan because of the one missed payment from XXXX. Everything I need to do in my life to get out of this horrible personal situation I'm in, has been halted because of this one failure to communicate from TD BANK. ive spent the last 10 months trying to dispute it with them and get a 'GOOD FAITH ' removal, but they just keep saying the information is valid and are being real jerks. I try to call and their system hangs up. I email, and it takes a long time to get the same stonewall response. This isn't right. And it's not fair, and I don't deserve this black mark. Hopefully someone here can help me, but at the very least, if you have the option to NOT finance or not do anything with TD BANK, don't do it, choose another lender.

Consumer Complaint: The customer 's complaint against TD Bank spans several key dates : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The customer opened a TD Beyond Checking and a TD Signature Savings account based on specific advertisements promising fee waivers and account bonuses. XXXX XXXX XXXX : The savings account was funded within the 20-day window as confirmed by a conversation with a TD representative. XXXX XXXX XXXX The customer surpassed the {$2500.00} direct deposit requirement for the checking account bonus, which was due by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX : TD bank charges fees against their terms of promotion and customer needs to make multiple calls to prove that the bank is not operating on the terms of agreement. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TD Bank had advertised that bonuses would be applied within 180 days from account opening. However, by this date, the customer had not received the promised bonuses. Subsequent days : The customer spent numerous hours on the phone with TD Bank representatives, including XXXX, who confirmed their eligibility for the bonuses and initiated a review process. Ongoing : TD Bank continued to delay the application of the bonuses, asking the customer to wait an additional 2-3 weeks despite prior confirmation of eligibility. XXXX THIS CONTRACT IS CANCELED SOCIAL Security number XXXX XXXX XXXX I received a copy of my credit report with the intention of trying to improve my credit and take care of my responsibilities and noticed a few accounts that I wanted a little more explanation on. I am not saying they are reporting right or wrong. I am just saying that I am not 100 percent sure if they are. I also read something called the Fair Credit Reporting Act where it said by law, I had the right to challenge anything I am not sure is accurate. Some of the people reporting things on me, I have never heard of which made me write to you all. Are you familiar with something called 15 U.S.C. Sec. 1681i ( a ) ( Whenever aconsumer reporting agencyprepares aconsumer reportit shall follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates. )? I heard that if you cant provide proof, these accounts must be deleted. Well, I want these accounts deleted if they are not 100 percent right and correct. So, could you please check on these and get back to me? I saw on a Credit Site and Board where this lawyer said you have 30 days to complete this investigation. Please investigate the following accounts and remove them if anything is missing or not correct on them.
