Consumer Complaint: XXXX made three unauthorized purchase on my account of {$92.00}. I informed TD Bank of this purchase and I filed a dispute for it. This dispute has been going on for awhile now. I send over documentation in support for my dispute and TD Bank had reversed back one of the disputes to XXXX of {$92.00} that I didnt authorize XXXX to take on XX/XX/XXXX. Also, this transaction had caused an overdraft on my account. I was charged {$35.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, a day later when I had money in my account. By doing this TD is endorsing fraudulent behavior, enabling merchants to steal from consumers and this is a breach of contract with customers. This is a violation of my rights and federal rules.

Consumer Complaint: I had opened two custodial accounts with TD bank for my two kids back in the late nineties, As as XX/XX/XXXX account # XXXX had {$67.00} As of XX/XX/XXXX account # XXXX had {$4100.00} About three months ago I went to withdraw money from the accounts and was told that they had been turned over to the state due to inactivity, but going on the State of CT. website i discovered that they had not been turned over. This is from the TD Branch in XXXX, CT. Ever since then I have been given the runaround first by the assistant manager XXXX XXXX and about two weeks ago by the manager ( I did not write down her name ), who said that the money would be available the following day in the form of a check. When she did not contact me to pick up the check I called and left a message. This was on or about XX/XX/XXXX. She has to date not returned my call nor has she refunded the money I had in the two accounts totaling {$4100.00} plus accrued interest. I have been advised that these two accounts are no longer in the system but I do have the passbooks

I think I have fulfilled all the requirements but I was denied a bonus. When I applied, the term says explicitly " Checking offer is available to new personal checking Customers who do not have an existing or prior personal checking account at TD Bank within the preceding 12 months and complete the required qualifying criteria. '' I have been a customer in XXXX and closed my account in XXXX which is more than 12 months. But TD Bank still refused to pay out the bonus. I am very unsatisfied with their resolution.

TD Bank insists executor must show up in person ( i.e., fly across the country during a global pandemic ) or hire third party agent to close account and distribute savings.

I was referred to their fraud desk, where they did cancel the account ; they will be sending me a confirmation letter within 30 days. Consumer Complaint: I signed up for a bank account with TD bank using a promotion that offered a cash sign up bonus for setting up direct deposit and meeting a few other conditions. I carefully read the fine print and made sure I was eligible, and the promotional code offered applied to the account when I opened it. I met all of the conditions and the promised bonus was not applied to my account by the timeline specified. I contacted TD bank and they said I wasn't eligible for the bonus because I've received a bonus from them before. This is not in the terms and conditions of the offer at all, and in fact the terms just state you are ineligible if you've had an open account in the past 12 months ( I have not ). I feel cheated because I've now had thousands of dollars in this bank since the summer as I was trying to meet the conditions of the bonus, to no avail. I was wrongly led by the bank to open this account, and I would never have chosen to bank with them and leave my money in there if I knew they wouldn't honor the promotion I signed up with.
