I received a pay off statement from the TD bank in the amount {$320000.00} ( copy of the letter of the pay off letter from TD bank is attached ). This amount was paid by the new bank XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, acct # XXXX, XXXX. The property address is XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX NY XXXX, Now 8 months later, TD bank is saying that my mortgage is still outstanding, I own them an additional {$26000.00}. I and my laywer spend three months to contacting TD bank, title company and the XXXX County to resolved the matter. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX Tel. : XXXX Fax : XXXX XXXX Also, TD bank requested an additional {$5600.00} as the school tax amount which TD bank paid XX/XX/2020. TD bank received a refund of {$5600.00} from XXXX countyr back in XXXX XXXX. Copy of teh refund check is attached. TD is the worst bank in teh history. It takes 3 hours to get to be connected and when I ask to talk to the Mnager I get disconnected, given a different phone number to contact. I dont have energy or time to fight teh TD bank, help please

Consumer Complaint: Over a year ago, my TD Bank card was closed out. I had contacted support about this issue - since my autopay was never set up correctly despite being aware it was, I had my card charged off and cancelled. I now have multiple late marks on my credit report. I had paid it off by phone immediately upon learning about the issue, but unfortunately it was too late. Unfortunately due to unintuitive tools and no communication from TD, I have this mark on my report. I would like to remedy this. I would like to know what can be done, if a relationship can be re-established or if these marks can be taken off my report. I am sorry for the account being late, but also to my knowledge there was a full autopay on the account. The agent expressed a lot of sorrow and very much could tell this was not my fault or due to financial hardship. She tried to do what she could, but due to limited tools on her end, was unable to assist beyond making sure my account got paid in full.

Consumer Complaint: Without any prior notice, TD Bank has frozen my account and not allowed me to make deposits or withdrawals. Since I opened this account, TD Bank has not sent me ONE single paper statement or allowed me access to my online accounts. They have hit me with numerous overdrafts fees and sent me no letters about these fees. In fact, the consumer agreement sent to me when the account was opened does NOT reflect the overdraft patterns. My attorney and I have already taken notice of TD Banks recent fines by the Federal government for misleading overdraft abuses against consumers. Back in early XX/XX/2020 I requested to have these overdrafts turned off and despite this TD Bank claims there is no such record that it was turned off and claims it was turned ON. This is an impossibility as the account was opened with overdraft services on. The lack of access to my account balance including through automated phone services has made it incredibly difficult to track TD Banks dishonest and abusive overdraft patterns. If this freeze has anything to do with a prior checking account and credit card fraud from two older TD accounts, I would remind TD Bank that I have all documentation kept from those accounts in which TD Bank cleared me of any responsibility of those debts because of the fraud. And I have documentation from TD Bank acknowledging the fraud occurred because of a TD Bank error. It seems very clear to me that TD Bank continues to use abusive behavior that targets the consumer and attempts to back up its dishonest claims by using incomplete account notes from many different customer service representatives from a myriad of departments. Defaulting to any such notes to justify this abusive behavior is unacceptable Let me also make it clear : I do not care what records you have of any letters you have sent, paper statements included. I have never received them and yes my address on file is correct. I am legally entitled to these and shouldnt have to stop in a bank every single day to make sure TD Bank isnt stealing my money.

Consumer Complaint: The complaint is about TD Bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NJ XXXX. TD Bank offered a re-financing for my house, and I signed a XXXX rate-lock agreement with TD in XX/XX/2020. InXX/XX/2020, TD Bank said the existing lender could not perform a loan assignment due to COVID in order to close the re-financing, but asked me to wait and promised in writing to extend my rate lock until closing. Despite my weekly email follow-ups, TD Bank continued to ask me to wait. InXX/XX/2020, I informed TD Bank I could not wait any longer and wanted to close the re-financing without the assignment, and I was willing to bear the resulting additional cost. In XX/XX/2020, after my numerous attempts to get an answer from TD Bank, TD Bank informed me they would not honor the loan terms they promised to me. On XX/XX/2020, TD Bank promised in writing to refund me the {$530.00} in appraisal fee that I paid in good faith at its request during its underwriting process. I never received the refund. On XX/XX/2020, in response to my email inquiries, TD Bank representative emailed me and said he would check on the status of the promised refunds. After that, TD Bank stopped responding to my continued inquiries.
