Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021, I made a purchase from XXXX XXXX for a weight bench and a set of hand weights. The order total was {$520.00}. The order was billed to my TD Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX account in 2 charges, I suppose because these 2 items were shipped in 2 shipments. The charges were {$310.00} for the bench and {$210.00} for the weight set. In error, I was double charged {$310.00}. My card balance should be {$520.00} but the balance is {$840.00}. I have tried numerous times to resolve the issue with being overfilled by {$310.00}. However, TD Bank and XXXX XXXX are both unwilling to help me. TD Bank tells me that I need to call XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX tells me that I need to contact TD Bank. Neither company will assist in resolving, they only want to refer me to the other company. During my most recent call, TD Bank was extremely rude to me and told me that they have had no record of me ever calling.

Consumer Complaint: TD bank, checking account opening bonus {$150.00} Received a mail in my mailbox as they say give me {$150.00} bonus when opening a checking account and finish a direct deposit totaling {$500.00}. Finished it several months ago, but no bonus posted. Tried to call them a lot of times, they said the bonus will be posted in 90 days and told me to wait. Then after 90 days, tried to call them again, they said Im not qualified for the bonus because I have to meet the mail requirement which is the mail has to be under my name. As far as I know, the mail said dear resident, if they say my name is not resident, that will make me laugh a lot. Also, they never told me all of these until last week. Its totally fraud.

Ok so my Father was bed ridden so we did a power of attorney, brought it to the local branch where he started the account XXXX knows how many years ago, where he went every week and knew everyone there. They take 2 weeks to " update into the system '' with the power of attorney. THEN drop on me that the account is closed due to my mothers Social security and my mothers JOINT tax return going into the account ( which has happened for YEARSSS but they decided TODAY they didn't like it ) Account is being closed and funds will be going back to the IRS and SS.. ok fine. 4 months pass, nothing, I call and complain, they can NOT talk to me as the POA is not on record for me ( so what did I wait 2 weeks for? ) I call the branch assistant manager XXXX, he says they are WRONG and the POA is on file, so this goes back and fourth with TD corporate and TD branch both saying different things and refusing to speak to one another, after many complaints I decided to contact CFPB. Side note a few payments DID go back to SSA, but the rest remain in the account where TD branch is saying its " not there '' yet the statements come to the house and say it is. also Corporate will still NOT talk to me ( other then to take a complaint that seems to go NO WHERE ) due to the lack of POA which local branch claims is on file. the acconunt statement shows {$2800.00} in the account

Consumer Complaint: NEW TB Auto Finance loan for a XXXX purchased. TD Customer service calls me and hangs up every day, their dialing system does not work. I had set up direct deposit payments, but their system did not process XXXX, which was supposed to be first month drawn direct. All payments are made and current. No payments were made late, yet TD Auto is reporting the XXXX payment as 30 days late. Their customer service person recognized the error and noted in system but refused to change the credit reporting. Gave me a PO Box to mail a request to update credit report. No response to multiple mailings. This one incorrect reporting dropped my credit score 64 points in 30 days.

Consumer Complaint: My checking account was constantly being charged over draft fees during crisis an still to today, I would call an ask for refund if the charged XXXX to XXXX or more a month they would say well last month we gave you back XXXX dollars when last month there would be XXXX overdraft XXXX several others, they would just taking a small overdraft fee an then I would call next month an they would say we already gave back XXXX last month so your not eligible, I never got a letter from them saying you have to call for help with overdraft fees but they didnt help me anyway, they took thousands from me an still are, I called several branches to ask question an was told that manager is working as teller XXXX XXXX because ppl arent showing up because of virus, I was told same thing in XXXX XXXX short handed ppl dont wan na come in cause virus, cant get works always short handed, took me 4 hrs yesterday to clear a check because no one would help finally after calling corporate 6 times the XXXX nj helped me, how can I get all my overdraft fees returned Im talking thousands of dollars, this is all in New Jersey XXXX XXXX XXXX
