Consumer Complaint: I contacted TD Bank in XX/XX/2021 regarding a home equity loan on my co-op located in XXXX, NJ. I was assigned to XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Mortgage Loan Officer, NMLS # XXXX. After numerous phone conversations, Ms. XXXX assured me that she can process the home equity loan and that TD Bank provides financing for home equity loans in the XXXX of NJ. After those confirmations and assurances ( conversations which were recorded ), I and my co-applicant agreed for Ms. XXXX to run our credit histories and proceed with the application. After the loan went to underwriting, I was informed that TD in fact does NOT do home equity loans in the State of NJ. I left Ms. XXXX two voicemails to get an explanation, which she did not return. Upon this non-response, I requested to speak to a supervisor. After a few more follow-ups, on or around XX/XX/2021 ( about 3 months after my initial application ), a supervisor named XXXX XXXX finally called me back. He nonchalantly told me that TD Bank does not finance home equity loans in the State of NJ, only in NY and offered no further explanation. I requested that the inquiries be removed from mine and co-applicant credit reports because those were agreed to based on misrepresentations made by Ms. XXXX and he said he will make the request. I followed up on XX/XX/2021 on the status. The supervisor refused to speak to me and I was informed by XXXX XXXX XXXX, Loan Processor, NMLS ID # XXXX that my manager said he escalated to the appropriate parties for further research, as discussed in your last conversation with him. And as soon as there is an update someone else from that department will reach out to you. As of today, XX/XX/2021, I am still waiting on a status update and more importantly on a resolution. Ms. XXXX was negligent and misrepresented, lied, and took advantage of an elderly applicant ( I am XXXX XXXX XXXX ). As such, she should be immediately stripped of her license and she should not be allowed to take advantage of consumers, especially elderly ones. Because of her actions, my credit report was damaged, I am facing high interest rates with new creditors, and I have lost 3 months of time that I can not get back. On the other hand, the supervisor XXXX XXXX was rude and refused to talk to me and provide status update and a resolution to my case. He should not be in the supervisory position and should be providing me with an apology for the way he spoke to and treated me. He should be enrolled in an extensive training program. I demand that the credit inquiries be removed from mine and my co-applicants credit reports due to negligence and misrepresentation and that Ms. XXXX and Mr. XXXX face consequences for their actions to protect consumers like me.

Consumer Complaint: I reached out to XXXX concerning a hard inquiry made on my account on XX/XX/2019 by TD Retail Card Services. I was advise by an agent that I can not dispute the inquiry via their agency ( XXXX ) and that I needed to contact the company ( Td Retail Card Service ). I immediately reached out to Td Retail Card Service and they could not find an inquiry or service made using my social. They then informed me that I should reach out to XXXX to have it removed. I called XXXX again and they told me that they can not remove hard inquires. I am very concern that my information was used and the company it was used can not verify this information. Consumer Complaint: Hello, I made a purchase on Target.com on XX/XX/2021 online and immediately called in to Target to cancel the order. I was told by Target that they were cancelling the order and the item would not be shipped and I would not be billed. The item was never shipped, as requested, but I still got billed for the item. The order information is as follows : Transaction Date : XX/XX/2021 Merchant : TARGET PLUS City/St : XXXX, Category : Household Transaction Type : Regular Sales Draft Original Amount : {$510.00} Merchant Description : Discount Stores Merchant ID : XXXX I've called several times about this and have gotten the run around over and over again, and have been told every time that I would be receiving a refund, plus any interest would be credited back to my account. I have called and contacted Target at least 7 times since XXXX and I still have not received my refund. I called on XX/XX/2021, XX/XX/2021, XX/XX/2021, XX/XX/2021 and XX/XX/2021 about this issue and still have not received a resolution to this matter. Every time I call Target tells me they will help me, but then transfers me to another department stating that the other department is required to be the ones to help me with the charge and the interest. This goes on through several departments and then finally someone says they will get this resolved and I will be refunded within 3-5 business days. This has been going on for a few months now, so it's past 3-5 business days. I just want my money back and to not be paying for interest on something I never completed a purchase on or ever received as it was never shipped.

Consumer Complaint: I received a checking account statement on XX/XX/2021 for an account that was opened fraudulently in my name. There was a XXXX balance and no activity at that time on the account. I immediately contacted TD Bank customer service and fraud departments to report the fraud and close the account. I didn't understand how the account was opened since my credit has been frozen with all three credit bureaus for many years. I was told that a credit check wasn't done. I thought that was required!!! I also filed a police report on that day. I sent a XXXX letter on XX/XX/XXXX restating the problem and requesting the account be closed. I asked for written confirmation that it was closed, that I was not libel for it and that it would not be reflected on my credit reports. I received confirmation from the postal service that the letter was delivered on XX/XX/XXXX. I again received a statement in XXXX still NOT showing the account was closed. As of today I have not received anything to show this account has been closed. My concern is that TD Bank did not perform the required credit check. If they had the account could not have been opened since there was a credit freeze on my files and I would have been contacted.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2021, I filed for bankruptcy but specifically did NOT include open accounts TD/Target or XXXX because they did not have balances. Recently, I checked my credit reports and see that both of the accounts are Closed and have derogatory comments stating that they were included in the bankruptcy. This is not accurate and has had a very negative effect on my credit scores. I have attached a list that I received from my lawyer of the accounts that were included in the bankruptcy. As you will see, TD/Target and XXXXXXXX are not listed.

Consumer Complaint: I filed two Dispute Claims with TD Bank on XXXX.On both disputes I fulfilled requests by the bank to restore my funds.After I fulfil their initial requests, there is not more that I should be required to do under the circumstances.They submitted a letter in writing requesting that I explain the circumstances of the request for a refund on both disputes and I did.They requested receipts and I submitted receipts.When it appeared that the merchants had no grounds to recover funds from my account, TD bank summarily amended the requirements for granting my Dispute Requests for a Refund, transmitting additional requirements from their Legal Department that are unheard of by customers in Good Standing, suggesting Legal Action.They did this even after I asked them if they are recognizing who has their name on a TD Bank account.I asked them if they were equating my entitlements as a Bank customer as being inferior to that of the merchant/vendor of a Bank customer.On XX/XX/2021 they mailed me a letter denying both of my dispute requests arbitrarily and without consideration for the actual circumstances or my standing as a TD Bank customer.
