Consumer Complaint: Hello, I received XXXX emails on XXXX different dates notifying me an account was made using my personal information. TD bank was successful and sent me a debit card in the mail to my address. While XXXX XXXX was unsuccessful due to them not having enough information to successfully create an account. Ive only used 1 bank for the past 7 years. I dont need any new ones. I reached out to both banks fraud department and there is now a pending investigation for both. I was told to reach out to the federal trade commission for future occurrences.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX reviewed my credit report and noticed a TD Bank credit card account that was not mine. I saw a New York apartment address associated with it. I have never had a New York address. Credit limit is {$2200.00}. Date open was XXXX. Status is current. Same day, I filed disputes with experian, XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX I read reports from all 3 credit companies and all three still had this TD account on my report. XXXX I called transunion and they said that they were convinced that the coping was mine because TD bank told them that when the person applied for the credit card that they supplied my name, social security # & address. Isnt that textbook identity theft? To me, thats not compelling evidence. I called TD bank and after 30 seconds of speaking with them they determined that this account was fraudulent after giving them my name, social security # & address. I was amazed that I could make this discovery in 30 seconds yet all three credit monitoring companies took two weeks to come to a different conclusion. The first person that unspoken to got me in touch with someone from their fraud department who said he needed to bring it to their credit card security team who would investigate and send me a letter in the mail. I then called XXXX and they told me the same common sense lacking information as transunion. XXXX told me to file a police report and a report here so that I could Provide them with proof that this account is fraudulent and then they would re-open their free investigation. Apparently they want you to pay for a real investigation. Im not a lawyer, but a report to the police or FTC is not proof- so I dont see how this changes anything. Thanks you any help that you can provide.

Consumer Complaint: In connection to complaint # XXXX, on XXXX I XXXX XXXX XXXX the natural person and consumer rebutted TARGET CARD SERVICES attempt to validate an alleged debt via certified mail. Im giving TARGET CARD SERVICES another chance to lawfully allow me to validate the alleged debt by giving them 7 days upon receipt to respond with specific requested information pursuant to 15 USC 1692g ( see attachment ). TARGET CARD SERVICES received my rebuttal on XXXX. Ive been trying to receive proper debt validation from TARGET CARD SERVICES since XXXX when my initial correspondence was received via certified mail. Its now XXXX ( XXXX days later ) With not 1 piece of evidence of validation being conveyed to me. TARGET CARD SERVICES is currently using stalling tactics by not sending required debt validation information pursuant to 15 USC 1692g ( a ). TARGET CARD SERVICES responded to my initial debt validation request with 1 meaningless billing statement from XXXX showing a charged off account ( see attachment ). That doesnt validate a debt pursuant to 15 USC 1692g. As stated in my feedback response in complaint # XXXX, TARGET CARD SERVICES is in violation of 15 USC 1692 ( a ) for failing to send a debt notice to determine the initial communication in relations to the alleged debt. TARGET CARD SERVICES is in violation of 15 USC 1692g ( a ) ( 3 ) for failing to disclose my right to dispute the alleged debt. TARGET CARD SERVICES is in violation of 15 USC 1692g ( a ) ( 4 ), and 15 USC 1692g ( a ) ( 5 ) for failing to disclose the necessary statements in relations to the alleged debt being disputed. Pursuant to 15 USC 1692g ( c ) my failure to dispute the alleged debt should not stand for an admission of liability. Only I the consumer can validate a debt. With TARGET CARD SERVICES failing to give me the opportunity to dispute & validate the alleged debt, Its unlawful to be reporting information to third parties that isnt validated nor with consent of the consumer. Theyre knowingly furnishing fictitious information.

Consumer Complaint: I have a target credit card on my credit. It was included in the bankruptcy from 2015. About XXXX months ago the company switched it from bankruptcy and made it look like its an active collection with XXXX lates!! I have NEVER been late. I have all of my bills on auto pay. I would like to have a corrected or removed. I have asked him XXXX times now and have not gotten any help. I am trying to buy a home and this is the only account hurting that. Its very frustrating! Especially when Ive asked numerous times to have it corrected. Its like we have no voice against these companies reporting what they want. Flagstar is also reporting incorrectly and XXXX XXXX lates are incorrect. None of this was reporting like this until a few months ago. Its like someone went in and changed my credit purposely. All of my accounts went out of whack

Consumer Complaint: A purchase from XXXX using their financing services, provided by TD Bank, was made last year. The item was returned to XXXX within 10 days and a customer support representative assured me the balance was credited back to the account and no further balance remained. I have since received dozens of calls and two letters from TD Bank requesting payment of the full balance. I have spoken with XXXX who continues to assure me the return was processed and charge reversed. TD Bank still continues to pursue this balance despite being provided this information from XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a identity theft report a full years ago which got approved by the FTC. I have my paperwork. So I begin to fix my credit starting with the accounts that was from identity theft. I mailed in all the paper work that was needed to dispute the accounts and at first the company removed the account and a couple months later XXXX XXXX put the account back on my credit report saying that the account was verified. I wrote them asking to show me how they verified the account and what they had to show that they verify the account with. And sent them another copy of the idenity theft report and asking them to show me what they had to to go against the approved report and I never got a response. They just keep adding it back to all the credit bureaus. I heard about company 's doing this to people even after all the trouble a person goes through when they have there idenity stolen. XXXX XXXX don't care what happens to people they want money even if you are not the one who needs to pay it. I going through this with 3 other company who doesn't care about identity theft or what the federal trade commission approved. They just keep saying verified and putting it back on your report because there is really nothing like a no body like me can do against these big company 's. If I had money to pay a big lawyer I bet they would leave it alone but since I can't they just keep on stepping on the little people and getting away with it. It's just not rite. It's hard enough dealing with the identity theft let alone a big company doing what they want to try to get money

Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, SC XXXX, phone XXXX. I am a customer of TD Bank here in XXXX XXXX. I had never had a savings account with them, but had CDs with another bank. I received an ad from TDBank saying that if I opened a new savings account of {$20000.00}. with them from another source that I would receive a bonus of {$200.00}. after 90 days of deposit. I did this on XX/XX/XXXX, I went into the bank, sat at a desk with an agent who explained what the new account was all about. I deposited a check for {$20000.00}. from the XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX to open my new TD savings account. No one said anything about it having to be opened ON LINE, which is claiming is the reason I didn't get any bonus. After 90 days I I received a statement saying that I had earned XXXX CENTS interest!!! Wonderful. I called, went into the bank, fussed for 2 weeks and have had NO response from them other than they are WORKING on it. .The email that had lured me into their scheme is still in my here in my email file. I can forward it to you if you want. Had I left my money in the CD at XXXX I would have made {$12.00} ub the 90 days. I am filing an official complaint, FALSE ADVERTISING. I would never send my moneyto an email that I didn't trust its source. SURE, it said TD Bank, but have been a scam from anywhere. Please help me. Consumer Complaint: on XXXX XXXX, i went to TD bank branch to do wire transfer. i did the wire transfer. i was told the wire will be available by XXXX XXXX after XX/XX/XXXX, i contacted TD bank telling them the Recipient didn't get the money. i was told the bank will investigate. kept calling every few day and every time i get different message. about XXXX XXXX received call from TD bank stating the wire was returned due to recipient bank doesn't receive money in US Dollar. i told them i always send money to the same account using other banks and never had issue. i said okay when will the refund will be available in my account, they said 3-5 business day. until today i still didn't get the refund. i call 2 times a week. every time the bank say something different. first they said the wire on hold with the Recipient bank. i contacted the Recipient bank and they said they never received the wire. nothing in their system shows the wire was received or retuned or rejected. the Recipient bank did check and told me the wire in hold by XXXXXXXX XXXX in XXXX. i contacted TD bank and i said the wire in XXXXXXXX XXXX and they said ohh yeah XXXX XXXX is our middle bank and we will investigate. since then nothing happened and every time i call, no information.

Consumer Complaint: TD Bank and its sidekick XXXX are once again giving us problems and harassment as well as a complete and total lack of good customer service. For example, they can not or will not tell us if a client check that previously bounced to their lack of funds, was ever credited when the check was re-deposited. It seems to have merely " disappeared '' and even though we have emailed no less than 5 TD Bank Reps, no one has either returned our inquiries or has an answer for us. Second, we responded to a {$300.00} credit card chargeback more than 2 weeks ago supplying all written/documentary proof that the charge was authorized, signed for, goods/services/product received, but these idiots still have not returned the money that they stole from our TD Bank Account. Please urgently investigate and advise.
