Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Banking errors
Consumer Complaint: Hello, on Friday XX/XX/XXXX I deposited {$1000.00} into a TD bank ATM located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Being as though the ATM showed the correct amount deposited I selected no receipt. As I returned home I noticed only XXXX XXXX posted to my account. I immediately contacted the branch and received absolutely no help from the representative as she stated only a manager is able to look into things of this nature, and she stated that location had no manager at all. The employee was extremely rude and shoved off my problem, as if it did not exist I later discovered that location did have a manager. She was just not in at the moment even though the representative told me they had no manager employed at that location. I then proceeded to contact TD Bank phone support and file a claim. I kept in contact with the branch and several other branches to see what could be done with the situation I received no help and no update. On Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX the claim was denied at XXXX XXXX. there is absolutely no way that the claim should be denied as far I put in {$1000.00} inside of the ATM. The ATM was not audited before the denial of my claim. The ATM is scheduled to get audited on Thursdays my claim was denied on Wednesday from the reason stating internal research. I would like for TD to fix this mistake from their employees. As far I am positive that I put in {$1000.00} inside of the ATM and if this can not be fixed legal proceedings will occur. as a new customer with TD, I am extremely disappointed in the services that Ive been provided from customer service to the tools available. I will not accept losing {$1000.00} to a ATM.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/2023, TD Bank reported to credit bureaus a payment on my Target Red Card was over 30-days past due. It was 31 days past due. The payment amount was {$160.00} and I paid that amount on XX/XX/2023. The late payment report caused my credit score to go down over 50 points three credit bureaus : XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. The same day, I contacted Target Card and explained I had not gotten a statement of my account or any notice that payment was late. I actually had not received an account statement from TD Bank/Target in several months at that point. I did not receive a notice that payment was late until after Target made the negative late pay report to credit agencies and after I contacted them. The letter was dated before XX/XX/, date of late pay report to credit bureaus, but not mailed until after that date. By then, my credit had already been damaged. When I spoke with Target customer service, they said I could request a review in writing, which I did. I found the law that says they are not supposed to make late payment reports until after they have sent the consumer an account statement. Target said they had reviewed the matter and determined the late pay report was correct. I forgot to make the payment because I didnt receive a statement or late payment notice. I would like Target to remove the late payment report they made to the credit bureaus. The dip in my credit score causes irreparable harm each day. It is the only late payment I have had on my credit report in many years.

Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Problem with fees
Consumer Complaint: Company is charging me late fees and interest for an issue that I had talked with them over with last year. The credit card was canceled ( by them ) 2 years prior and yet they still share my info with third party merchants. I already tried canceled with the 3rd party but they are not acting in good faith and now I have an issue with this TD CC. I was told my account was closed so this is not something I was expecting. Now I come to find I have late fees and interest charges. This amount is not much to most but I am currently struggling financially and the credit card company ( TD ) is taking advantage and sharing information on an account ( mine ) that they themselves closed. As it was closed I did not expect to see these charges.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a TD Bank Signature Savings Account. I was supposed to receive a bonus after doing the following, according to TD 's website : " Open a new TD personal savings account online. This can be either a TD Signature Savings or TD Simple Savings account. Deposit at least {$10000.00} in new money within 20 days of opening. New money means funds not previously held in any TD Bank checking or savings account. Maintain a minimum balance of {$10000.00} for 90 days from the date you first met the deposit requirement. TD Bank will credit your account with the {$200.00} bonus within 180 days after account opening. '' I have not received my bonus. Unfortunately, due to the very poor customer service offered by this bank, I have to complain to a regulator to get this issue resolved. Currently, I am dealing with fraudulent transactions on another account, which TD will not remove, as required under US Federal Law.
