Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I opened an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2014 and I set up an autopay on the account. The last payment that I made was on XX/XX/2014. Per the FCRA guidelines, an account can only be reported to the credit bureaus for 7 years from the date of first delinquency on the account. I filed a dispute with XXXX and XXXX because they were incorrectly reporting the date of last payment on my account. From my understanding, the company continued to try to debit from a checking account that was no longer being used and therefore no longer valid. The company was trying to say payments were being made even though the payments were returned for a period of time. I submitted a dispute to request that my last payment accurately reflect my ACTUAL last successful and received payment. The company did an investigation and indeed updated my date of last payment to XX/XX/2014. Based on this update, this account is required to be deleted from my credit report because it has been 7 years from the date of last payment. Ive disputed multiple times and even though the date of last payment is now accurate the company refuses to remove and delete the account from my credit report. Ive spoken to XXXX and to XXXX and keep asking them to remove the account from my report being it is now older than 7 years. I am filing this complaint as a last means to have this information deleted. If it is not, I will file contact the States Attorney General and have to involve a lawyer. Please see attached dispute results. You can clearly see that the investigation updated the date of last payment to XX/XX/2014. This means that this account MUST be deleted since it is 7 years past the date of last payment.

Consumer Complaint: After experiencing a problem transferring money via XXXX from XXXX to TD Bank, I came upon, what I now know to was a bogus XXXX website. I called a fraudulent " XXXX '' phone number and did not realize that I was NOT speaking with a legitimate XXXX agent. He told me to download XXXX, so that he could view everything I was doing on my phone. He then told me to make 2 transfers to a " dummy '' account, in order to test my XXXX account. I was told to authorize the transfers but, that the money would bounce right back into my account. When it did not, the agent told me that he had to look further into the issue. After the call, I realized that I was scammed and IMMEDIATELY called the TD Bank fraud department. I explained exactly what had occurred and was told that the fraud dept was familiar with this type of scam and that I didn't have to worry about being reimbursed. However, my claim was denied because I authorized the transfer, which I only did because I thought that I was speaking with a legitimate XXXX agent. I have lost {$1500.00}. TD Bank can see that I don't use XXXX often and I have NEVER transferred funds to this person in the past. In addition, I had issues receiving store refunds that were not processed to my debit card because my card had to be replaced and my bank account had to be restricted. I was assured that I would have no problems, once my old account was restricted but that was not the case.

Consumer Complaint: We bank with XXXX XXXX and two of our checks were fraudulently deposited at TD Bank. Each check was for {$18000.00}. TD Bank refuses to respond to XXXX XXXX requests for reimbursement for the claims. They have actively followed up and TD Bank continues to do nothing. According to XXXX, this is very typical behavior of TD Bank, they do not return fraudulent funds despite legitimate claims. Something needs to be done to stop TD Bank from keeping fraudulent funds. This has to be against the law, right?

Consumer Complaint: I deposited a check for {$17000.00} into my checking account. The bank cleared the funds. It turned out to be a fraudulent check and they took the funds back. It was a scam that costed me {$3000.00} since I cant reclaim those funds. I would have never drawn out money if the bank did not clear the check. I cant understand why they would not hold the check longer due to the amount. I spoke to a supervisor at the bank and they said its their policy and that I should contact the person who issued the check. I cant contact the issuer because I can not track them down. The bank should be responsible negligence in this matter

Issue: Problem when making payments
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: Hello, I used my financial institutions bill pay to issue the following payments : Check # XXXX = $ XXXX Check # XXXX = $ XXXX Check # XXXX = $ XXXX All checks were cashed by TD bank on XX/XX/XXXX however only one payment of {$1000.00} is showing on my account with an incorrect payment date of XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted the bank and let them know that they had made an error regarding the application of payments to my account. However, they said that they were unable to change my payment date. Because interest is calculated daily on my loan, this equates to theft and has allowed them to charge above and beyond what I owe. I have already emailed them copies of the checks and they still have misapplied 1 payment and still have not applied 2 others.

Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Problem using a debit or ATM card
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I made a cash deposit at the TD bank XXXX XXXX XXXX in NY. The ATM took my money, however did not credit the account and said on the receipt " forced deposit {$2000.00} ''. It was end of day I went into the branch to complaint about what had happened with the ATM and my money, three TD bank workers were there and told me there was nothing they could do for me to wait until the ATM gets serviced and they would take care of it. I had no idea I had to do anything else. I trusted their word and off In Went. Two weeks pass and there was no money in n my account. I called the general customer service and they said that I was in supposed to file a dispute the day it happened at the branch. They opened the dispute and I waited for a week and nothing. I called the branch and was told the dispute was the wrong one and the right one was submitted. Three days ago I saw the XXXX on my account and the next day it was removed!. I called the customer service and they said their so called investigation was closed and that probably the ATM returned me the money. I asked them to show me the footage of the machine doing that because that never happened,!. They didn't even bother to look at the cameras. I challenge them to do that. Now the branch is saying for me to show them the ATM receipt when customer service can see the copy from the ATM they told me they could see what the receipt says. I'm getting the run around from this bank. Whoever serviced the ATM is pocketing my money since the branch is saying is not them. Please help me recuperate my hard earned money.
