Consumer Complaint: I called Synchrony bank/Banana republic 4 times in the past 60 days requesting the credit to my account be sent as a check to me, since I received a refund from a purchase. They say over the phone they are requesting the check to be sent and I should receive within 7-14 days. I wait the 14 days and when I dont receive the check, I call again seeing what the issue is. It wasnt the wrong address, and every time they say they see no request for a check being sent to me for my refund. So they request again and the cycle has continued. Its to the point I dont know what else to do to get my money.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I sent a notice of rescission to Synchrony Bank and to date synchrony bank have not responded lawfully with any response to take action to terminate the security and interest on the account. Per TILA and REGULATION Z I have the right to rescind on any consumer credit transaction, 12 CFR 226.15,226.17, and 226.13. Notice was given to and received by Synchrony Bank in an acknowledged email attached. More than twenty days have lapsed, and Synchrony Bank have not taken any steps to properly reflect the termination of the securities and interest and return all monies paid on the account. According to 15 usc 1611 and 1640 willful and knowing violation are subjected to criminal and civil liabilities of which I intend to enforce and recover if the matter is not settled in good faith. Synchrony Bank has been harassing me and making threats of reporting to the consumer reporting agency derogatory information even after my revocation of power of attorney and my rescission. Pursuant 18 usc 894 anyone who attempts to collect any extension of credit by extortionate means shall be fined or imprisoned. 18 U.S. Code 894- Collection of extensions of credit by extortionate means ( a ) Whoever knowingly participates in any way, or conspires to do so, in the use of any extortionate means ( 1 ) to collect or attempt to collect any extension of credit, or ( 2 ) to punish any person for the nonrepayment thereof, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both email from synchrony bank below. Consumer Complaint: I recently applied for XXXX XXXX credit card, for dental implants. I applied initially to Synchrony bank. I was denied. I did not understand, because I have good credit, which I check all the time. I then applied through another company, and was approved right away, up to {$10000.00}. So now I am really curious why I was declined for service by this bank. I got the denial letter, two weeks later. The claim on the letter said I was denied because I already had an existing account. The information was not correct. I had never heard of the bank, nor were they ever on my credit report. After calling and investigating why I was denied, the agent on the phone, XXXX, put me on hold, came back with an unacceptable answer. He said I was denied, because a few years ago, someone applied to XXXX XXXX, with my social security number, which is still in their system. I asked them, how could someone use my social, and this info not show up on my credit report. He did not have an answer. As a consumer, I take pride in watching and monitoring my credit report. I am very familiar with what is on the report, because I check it all the time. I have not been denied credit in years, so, I thought I better follow through with this complaint. It does not make sense, therefore, I am asking for an investigation. I am also attaching letter of approval from the XXXX XXXX, in the amount of {$10000.00}, when I applied with them. Consumer Complaint: PayPal credit will not handle resolve my XX/XX/2021 {$330.00} purchase dispute and reverse the purchase back to the merchant. The recent statement Paypal has provided to me about my purchase merechant agreement with the merchants return policy is something I have never seen this before/during my purchase with this particular merchant? The merchant is just creating this policy any providing it to PayPal in order to avoid my dispute/return.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/23, amount {$1400.00} Quickly called card company when I got an email about a purchase. While on the phone, another transaction was trying to go through, so they closed the account and blocked the order going through. My fraud claim was denied because it shows it was delivered, but when checking with XXXX package was not delivered to my house and was signed by a person who I do not know or live with. I have sent it proof of where package was delivered, who it was signed for, and a screen shot of someone trying to access my account, claim still denied. Item was also bought, shipped, and delivered on the same day.

Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/2022 I received a letter in the mail stating that all of my Synchrony accounts are closed due to activity on accounts with synchrony bank indicative of high risk of failure to pay. However most accounts I have with synchrony do not carry a balance. others are paid in full monthly and on time. I was just given credit limit increases on most of the accounts about 2 weeks prior to all of the accounts being closed. My income is more than enough to cover any debt I may carry. I tried reaching out to synchrony multiple times and no one can ever give me an answer to what is going on.
