Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 received notification from XXXX XXXX XXXX Synchrony Corporate Specialist indicating that my coupon work just like a check is a negotiable instrument and was dishonored due to lacking knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Codes or deliberately violating 18 U.S Code 1341. XXXX XXXX XXXX COUPONS Definition & Legal Meaning Coupons are written contracts for the payment of a definite sum of money on a given day, and being drawn and executed in a form and mode for the purpose, that they may be separated from the bonds and other instruments to which they are usually attached, it is held that they are negotiable and that a suit may be maintained on them without the necessity of producing the bonds. Each matured coupon upon a negotiable bond is a separable promise, distinct from the promises to pay the bonds or the other coupons, and gives rise to a separate cause of action. ( a ) If an instrument is issued for value given for the benefit of a party to the instrument ( " accommodated party '' ) and another party to the instrument ( " accommodation party '' ) signs the instrument for the purpose of incurring liability on the instrument without being a direct beneficiary of the value given for the instrument, the instrument is signed by the accommodation party " for accommodation. '' 1-308. Performance or Acceptance Under Reservation of Rights. ( a ) A party that with explicit reservation of rights performs or promises performance or assents to performance in a manner demanded or offered by the other party does not thereby prejudice the rights reserved. Such words as " without prejudice, '' " under protest, '' or the like are sufficient. House Joint Resolution 192 PUBLIC LAW 73-10 ( a ) every provision contained in or made with respect to any obligation which purports to give the obligee a right to require payments in gold or a particular kind of coin or currency, or in an amount in money of the United States measured thereby, is declared to be against public policy ; and no such provision shall be contained in or made with respect to any obligation hereafter incurred. Every obligation, heretofore or hereafter incurred, whether or not any such provision is contained therein or made with respect thereto, shall be XXXX upon payment, dollar for dollar, in any coin or currency which at time of payment is legal tender for public and private debts. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Synchrony regarding a purchase which had not arrived and filed a dispute. Later, the company agreed to re-ship the product. I inquired with Synchrony about cancelling the dispute or putting it on hold to see if the new product arrives. Since then, for the entire month, I have been asking to cancel the dispute until the company has a chance to re-ship the goods. However, Synchrony has been ignoring my messages.

Consumer Complaint: My account with Synchrony has been paid in full and has been closed. Synchrony was to credit my account and clear a balance for charges that were added to my account in error via a card protection subscription that I did not authorize. Synchrony has left the balance on my account and has continued to charge interest on the amount that they agreed to credit in order to clear the balance. Additionally, this has negatively impacted my credit score because they are falsely reporting missed payments to the credit bureau.
