Consumer Complaint: I am natural person and consumer submitting this complaint in response to an unfair adverse action letter ( exhibit 1 ), as advertisement, without the aid of an attorney. I received an adverse action letter dated XXXX XXXX, 2023 in response to a request of a consumer financial product referred to as TJX rewards Card issued by assigned creditor Synchrony Bank alleging disapproval of my extension of credit request. The alleged reason states Prior unsatisfactory obligation with Synchrony Bank. The letter included no proof of claim to justify the adverse action or alleged obligation with Synchrony Bank and is unfair, deceptive and discriminatory against my good faith reliance of the disclosure provided in letter of my right under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. I suspect that it is an inadvertent error or mistaken identity and demand pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act proof of claim of the alleged obligation/loss/deficit/debt balance for validation of the alleged debt and verification under oath provided by an authorized officer of Synchrony Bank having first hand knowledge who can testify to the asserted claim. Should Synchrony Bank authorized officer upon receipt of this complaint refuse of fail to comply with verification of the alleged obligation under penalty of perjury within 30 days. Synchrony agrees to waive any rights, or alleged claims and shall terminate all collection efforts illegally impairing the credit decision. Synchrony Bank also agrees cease and desist such frivolous claim. Proof of claim is accepted via mail to the applicant address. Notice is hereby given that I revoke authorization of any communication by use of AI technology and by electronic agents. I revoke authorization of any credit decision based on consumer reports or income as the labor of a human being is not a commodity or article of commerce. Further notice is hereby given to Synchrony Bank as you are using the social security account number on my authority as card issuer necessary to guarantee, insure, or provide security for the credit as prepayment of the finance charge required to be disclosed in accordance to the Truth in Lending Act, please take note on the behalf of the United States, you acknowledge and agree that I have authority to bind your business or entity and that such business or entity accepts these terms. The note is not under a negotiable instrument anymore, it is a security. An individual must not be denied any right, benefit, or privilege provided by law by a component because of such individual 's refusal to disclose their Social Security number in compliance standards of the enumerated consumer laws, specifically, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Billing Act, Truth in Lending Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. The term " advertisement '' includes the attempt by publication, dissemination, solicitation or circulation to induce directly or indirectly any person to enter into any obligation or acquire any title or interest in any merchandise and includes every work device to disguise any form of business solicitation by using such terms as " renewal '', " invoice '', " bill '', " statement '', or " reminder '', to create an impression of existing obligation when there is none, or other language to mislead any person in relation to any sought after commercial transaction.

Consumer Complaint: Regarding : Belk Store Account XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX On Approximately XX/XX/2022, Belk Store reportedly sent a XXXX XXXX Purse to me.. I never received the purse. XXXX delivered the purse to the wrong address. Tracking XXXX ( XXXX. I have written to Belk many times sending information to them to prove that I never received the purse. I have also talked to your Synchrony Bank and sent you information to prove that the purse was delivered to the incorrect address. I have opened several case to get Belk to rectify problem, but to no avail. Belks/Synchrony Bank continues to harrass me and send me late due notices over and over for a purse that I never received.

Consumer Complaint: Care Credit charges me a late fee of {$41.00}. I owed Care Credit a balance of over {$4100.00} and always made beyond my minimum payment because I want to finish paying this card. I never missed any of my payments. In my last statement care card charged me a late fee {$41.00} due to not receiving their statement on time to pay my bill. I call to explain to Care Credit but they refuse to assist or waive the {$41.00}. I am XXXX and on a fixed income. Wavie this fee will help. Care Credit doesn't care about helping their customer.

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank not processing my payoff payment for a QVC credit card. payment was due XX/XX/XXXX. paid the balance off using a new checking account and then when it was rejected I used the savings account. Both rejected. Routing number and account numbers were correct. First paid on XXXX then paid on XXXX, then again on XX/XX/XXXX. all were rejected. there is more than enough money in my account to cover this. When I contacted my credit union they told me no payment had ever been submitted, because if it had they could tell me what went wrong. I called synchrony on XX/XX/XXXX wanting to pay with a different bank, but because the balance said XXXX they wouldn't let me do it. So, now they have imposed a XXXX dollars late fee on the account. I have a message from my credit union telling me no payment had been submitted. These are very poor business practices. Now it will be a ding on my credit report and I didnt do anything wrong. I do not owe a late fee. I have reported them to the FTC and will also report to the XXXX XXXX XXXX. Ps this account was never delinquent, payments were always made now they close the account because I opened a HELOC to pay off all my bills.

When I applied for registration at the Florida DMV, they listed Synchrony Bank as the lienholder. I made the final payment on the financing on XX/XX/XXXX for an amount of {$3200.00}. I made this payment from my savings account. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, I still have not received the title release for my trailer. I have made multiple calls to Synchrony Bank, but they have been unable to locate my account using my social security number or my account number, and they have not provided me with any answers. Consumer Complaint: I was a victim of a series of multiple attempts of fraud using my identity that followed an armed robbery on XX/XX/2022. A hard inquiry from SyncB/JCPenney appeared on my credit report, to which I made several calls to the company to get information on an attempt to create an account using my credentials. Though I was able to retrieve an associated address over the phone, I have since been unable to retrieve a hard copy, even after the detective in my case made a call himself. I was told to write a letter to a given po box to address the issue, but I have had trouble getting an update on the matter over the phone and I have not been able to verify if I will be receiving my requested documents. The detective is requesting hard proof of the said address and other information involved in the fraudulent attempt to create an account via SyncB/JCPenney.This information is needed to identify a potential suspect who was involved in the armed robbery.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I financed furniture through Synchrony bank ( bank chosen by furniture store ) with a 0 % interest loan expiring in XX/XX/XXXX. I set up recurring payments every month. I unfortunately ignored monthly statements from Synchrony as I presumed it was just useless data. I never received ANY emails or texts. My bank was apparently late on funding Synchrony several times and I unknowingly incurred late fees. After my final payment in XX/XX/XXXX, I kept on getting monthly statements, which I finally opened in XXXX. This showed {$300.00} in late fees and {$1100.00} in back interest to day 1 in XXXX. I called immediately, escalated to an account manager and she denied waiving any fees, even though I dutifully paid every month and my financed loan was {$0.00} by the time the promotion expired. Now I owe {$1400.00} from an original {$2900.00} purchase - which I PAID! Since I called about my account I have been getting emails and texts almost every day explaining my outstanding balance. Even after explaining I was not some deadbeat person not paying their bills, they refused to be human and do anything. Shame on me for not checking my mail. Shame on Synchrony for their behavior, unwillingness to be reasonable and treating me like a deadbeat.
