Consumer Complaint: I applied for a PayPal credit account and was denied according to a credit report that indicated I had a Venmo account that has been established and information obtained in a report effected the decision. Not only have I not opened a Venmo account I also have reached out several times to customer support complaining that someone else is using a account with my name on it and using a old cell phone number Ive had in the past to move money and fraudulently use my personal information. Ive asked numerous customer service reps to delete the account my account and stop using my name and because I cant tell them the number associated with the account they wont delete it and somehow either lose connection and hand up mid conversation or never get back to me to follow up with my complaint! I want the account removed VIA MY NAME IMMEDIATELY

Consumer Complaint: I purchased an item which I assume was a promotional price and was charged over {$400.00} in one lump sum of interest charges without any prior notifications or opportunity to pay the balance prior to doing so. I was told that due to the item not being paid in full by a certain date that all accrued interest over 6 months was charged at one time. That is insane as the interest went to the bill raising the total monthly interest. I want this refunded since I was never notified of this in written or email

Consumer Complaint: At the offices of Rooms to Go in XXXX Florida, I presented my photo ID to an employee who negligently and inaccurately typed my name into Synchronys system without providing me an opportunity to review the data. Synchrony issued a credit card in the wrong name but, without activating it, my name was corrected upon my complaints to my correct name XXXX. I have never been known by XXXX and this one time stupid irresponsible error must be corrected and DELETED permanently from my XXXX credit report. I have attached a photo of the Rooms To Go credit cards which obviously discloses that the error was discovered and corrected. Notice is given that unless this inaccurate NAME is not permanently deleted from my XXXX and any other credit report within 5 days, I will file a lawsuit in the US District Court for the middle district of Florida for FCRA willful violations naming XXXX, Synchrony Bank, Rooms to Go and others seeking statutory damages of {$1000.00} for each violation plus 9-80 fold punitive damages of between {$9000.00} and {$80000.00} per violation left corrected for every month reported. In addition, I will be filing Demands for Arbitration within the next 5 days for other disputes pursuant to valid arbitration agreements.

Consumer Complaint: I was making a payment on my Lowes card on XX/XX/23 and discovered my account was closed. I have not received a letter stating my account was being closed. I called Lowes Customer Service and was informed on XX/XX/23 my account was closed because I have too many accounts with high balances. Well who don't have credit cards with large balances at this time with this economy. I was okay with Lowes dropping my limit but to close my account entirely hurts my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: I have been disputing multiple charges for my purchase with Lowes last XX/XX/2023. The charge amounting to {$1600.00} was not accurate, as I was overcharged by {$1200.00}. I have already provided my receipt which clearly shows the difference between my balance due and what was charged to my credit card, but Synchrony has repeatedly rejected my dispute without any explanation as to why my documentation was not accepted.

Consumer Complaint: I went into VCF in XXXX of XXXX. I was asked to apply for a VCF ( sychrony ) store credit card so that I could recieve 36 months no interest on my purchases. I apllied for the card and was approved. I made 2 purchases. In XX/XX/XXXX I recieved a statement with interest added onto my bill. I called my local store. I was told that I had to contact costumer care. I contacted customer care. I did a complaint and dispute. Did not get any results. XX/XX/XXXX more interest charges were added. I called synchrony bank. I filed another complaint and dispute with them regarding being given misleading information from the sales rep in the store. I was told that the reson why I didnt not receive 36 months no interest on my purchases was because the items that I purchased were on sale. There were no signs that stated that sale items were excluded from the 36 months no interest promotion. I have not received any communication back from this company. I was told I would recieve an update on my formal complaint and dispute via email and message center in the app. I have not received anything but more interest charges and a high balance reported to the credit bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: Regarding XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Texas. Hi, I just spoke with the store manager to report an employee XXXX XXXXXXXX who gave me false information regarding the TJMaxx credit card. The store manager let me know that he would speak to this employee but I wanted to submit an official complaint. On XX/XX/XXXX I visited this location and when I went to pay for my purchase with my TJ Maxx credit card ( MC that can be used anywhere ) the store associate said that I had a very old outdated card and asked me if I wanted to upgrade to the newest " TJ maxx GOLD card that is an international card and can be used at any location and that I would get more points with it. '' However, she did not explain that it would be a new account, just that it would be an upgrade to my existing card. So I proceeded to go through opening a new account and she provided me with the temporary shopping pass. ( XXXX XXXX : XXXX ) When I contacted TJ Maxx customer service the representative confirmed that the card I already had ( opened in XXXX ) was the TJ Maxx MasterCard that can be used anywhere. Since I already had this, the one that i ended up opening on XX/XX/XXXX was a " in-store '' only credit card ( which resulted in an inquiry against my credit ). But the representative said that there is no difference in terms of points between the two cards. I went ahead and closed the account that I had opened with employee XXXX. I didn't get her name but I did provide this employee number to the store manager. This store associate violated UDAAP by being deceptive regarding the card I owned and by not being clear that I was in fact, opening up a 2nd account. I also agreed because the store associate said I would " get more points '' with this new card.
