Consumer Complaint: I have owned my home for about 10 years now and I have paid many designated principle only payments above my required monthly payments. On XX/XX/XXXX I reached out to my mortgage company and requested that they send me an updated amortization schedule so that I could see how much my extra principle payments have effected the repayment of my loan. On XX/XX/XXXX They sent me back a letter stating that they are unable to provide this information. I then called the servicing company on a recorded call and requested if they could at least provide me with an updated final payment date that factored in the additional principle payments they have received. They responded by saying that this also could not be provided. I'm making these extra principle payments to shorten the life of this 30 year mortgage, but if the mortgage Servicer can not tell me how my extra payments are affecting the life of my mortgage, than I'm concerned that they aren't even applying the payments properly. I'm afraid of them over collecting and cheating me of my extra payments in the end. I don't want to wait 20 years to find out. I should be entitled to knowing how my payments are affecting the length of mortgage term.

Consumer Complaint: Select Portfolio Services ( SPS ) is in violation of Forced Placed Insurance, lying and deceit. On XX/XX/XXXX, SPS stated, " Lenders Placed Insurance In your inquiry, you question SPS adding Lender Placed Insurance ( LPI ) to the account. SPS does not show that any LPI has been added to the account. '' However, in correspondence ( certified mail ) from SPS dated XX/XX/XXXX and received XX/XX/XXXX, SPS states, " This is your second and final notice that our records show that your hazard insurance expired and we do not have evidence that you have obtained new coverage. Because hazard insurance is required on your property, we plan to buy insurance for your property ... ... ... ... ... .. The insurance we buy : Will cost an estimated {$1100.00} annually, which may be significantly more expensive than insurance you can buy yourself. '' On numerous occasions I have explained to SPS they have no legal security interest in the property they now claim to be placing forced placed insurance on. The legal description in all notes and mortgages do not coincide with the property they are now fraudulently trying to place insurance on. SPS continues to conduct business in a fraudulent manner and continues to go unchecked by appropriate authorities. I demand appropriate action by the CFPB.

Consumer Complaint: I have very big concerns regarding my home. Select Portfolio Servicing has placed my home on a foreclosure sale and has not yet removed the sale due to my loan modification in review. SPS has all my loan modification documents needed for a review they are reviewing it but still have the foreclosure sale up on the trustees site and when asked SPS they say its still active. How if im in review. Im really worried about them selling my home. They have been jumping me around for a very long time now with my loan modification. I can not get a loan modification without them threatening me with a foreclosure sale date. I still to this day can not get a loan modification they always denying my loan modification. Please help me with this I have sale on my home XX/XX/2018 I am out of options I do not know what else to do for them to stop the sale and give me a loan modification. Please help me please I need someone to talk to about this. They are violating my Home Owner Bill of Rights and I need the sale stopped imminently for my modification to go through. This is way too long over two years now and I can not get an offer.

Consumer Complaint: DearSir/Madam, I did a mortgage modification with the XXXX XXXX at XXXX and started making my regular payments every month on time. On XX/XX/XXXX when I went to the XXXX XXXX to make mortgage payment for that month I was told that my mortgage was took over by The Select Portfolio Servicing and I needed to make the payments to them starting that month, XX/XX/XXXX. I called the Select Portfolio Servicing phone number that was provided to me by the XXXX XXXX so I could make the arrange payments. After I spoke to a Select Portfolio Servicing agent who stated that they were told that I didn't pay my last 3 months payments for the months of XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. After that false accusation I thought it was a mistake on their end and I spoke with one of their supervisor, who stated the same accusation and told me he would close the case if I could fax him the XXXX XXXX statements which they should have already received them from the XXXX XXXX when they took over my mortgage. Not only the statements but I also sent them the copies of the payments slips including those months they accused of me not paying. Each time after I faxed those documents to the Select Portfolio Servicing, inc. with the confirmation for the fax, they kept denying and telling me they didn't receive it. after the modification I always made my payments on time to the XXXX XXXX and to the Select Portfolio Servicing after they took over my mortgage on XX/XX/XXXX. Each time I called to Select Portfolio Servicing for the payments over the phone using my checking information, I was always subject of their allegations and harassment, not only that also getting harassing phone calls numerous times every day for years, receiving letters of their false accusations with threaten me to lose my house, messing up my credit with their default claims since the XX/XX/XXXX, for the XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX mortgage payments I already paid on time and faxed them the copies of the payments slips and the former mortgage company ( XXXX XXXX ) statements. I got so tired and frustrated of this false allegations and started doing 3 months auto payments in one time so I didn't have to deal with their lies every month. When I called them again to make 3 months payments for the months of XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX eastern time, I spoke to their agent XXXX XXXX XXXX who stated that she can't process my next 3 months payments because my house is on foreclosure and handling by the attorney named XXXX XXXX with the phone number XXXX XXXX XXXX. as a results of the intentional wrongdoings of Select Portfolio Servicing for almost last 5 years I am at the edge of loosing my house, my health and damaged my credit severely. Consumer Complaint: Select Portfolio Services , INC. ( SPS ) and XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), is in violation of conspiracy to commit fraud, deceit, falsification of documents and misrepresentation. Complaint # 1 : On XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, I received a response concerning a CFPB complaint from both SPS and XXXX ( see attached ). Within those responses were copies of a document, entitled Loan Modification, dated XX/XX/XXXX. The ONLY signature on the document was my deceased fathers, which he dated XX/XX/XXXX. My deceased mothers signature block contained the word Deceased. In addition, the document included a stamp on the first page that stated, Received Express Carrier XX/XX/XXXX MAILROOM XXXX, FL. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received correspondence from SPS which contained what appeared to be the same Loan Modification document which I received copies of from SPS and XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX respectively. However, upon further review, I could see how it had been fraudulently altered and/or falsified/backdated. The similar Loan Modification document I received on XX/XX/XXXX now contained two additional stamps. One stated, Received Inter-Office Trailing XX/XX/XXXX Capture Center XXXX, FL and the other stated, Vice President and Asst. Secretary, Administrative Services Division of XXXX XXXX XXXX. In addition, this copy of the document now contained the unreadable signature on the Lender signature block, which was dated XX/XX/XXXX ( see attached copies ). I can only assume these documents were altered sometime after XX/XX/XXXX andXX/XX/XXXX ; more than two years after my father signed the document on XX/XX/XXXX. Therefore, I deem this fabricated document as null and void. Complaint # 2 : On XX/XX/XXXX in correspondence I received from SPS, they give and address for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Alleged Owner of Note ) as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX. This contradicts the address SPS provided me in correspondence dated XX/XX/XXXX. In that correspondence they stated the address was XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, Delaware XXXX Attention : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Complaint # 3 : In numerous correspondences from SPS they state, Your assigned Relationship Manager is XXXX XXXX. I have yet to hear from this person via telephone or in writing and preliminary investigation indicates that she is not who SPS states she is. Complaint # 4 : On XX/XX/XXXX, I received correspondence from SPS stating they are, based on a business decision, unable to provide assistance. Not sure what prompted them to think I want or need their assistance. In fact, in my Complaint XXXX, dated XX/XX/XXXX. I advised them I have repeatedly attempted to request information regarding this account, which has only been met with non-compliance, insufficiency, vagueness, and misrepresentation and unconscionable deceit. Therefore, I have little interest in any work-outs regarding this account until such time it can be proven to me that the alleged obligations you claim are legal and enforceable. Therefore, at this time, I rescind all verbal and written offers to cure this alleged obligation. I fully dispute the validity of the alleged debt, ( current and future ), regarding account number XXXX, as claimed by Select Portfolio Services , Inc. and any associates. I have never sought approval of any modification and had never sent them an application for approval of a modification. I can only assume SPS is attempting to receive Federally Funded Credit for the false attempt. I have identified many more discrepancies during the course of my investigation that will be revealed at a later date. SPS and XXXX unethical and seemingly fraudulent behavior continues unchallenged by the appropriate authorities.
