Consumer Complaint: I filed a XXXX XXXX bankruptcy because the servicer refused to provide a payment plan for arreages during covid. During covid bank told me to pay what I can ( all recorded ). Now they say I need to subpoena that information. Im making my mortgage payments every month but they are applying everything towards the bankruptcy amount. The trustee has not made a payment since XX/XX/2023 ( 1st payment ). Ive also asked for a transfer of servicing audit. Please help. Thank you.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has called Select Portfolio Servicing several times XXXX and XXXX, we sent documents and, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX sent documents, acknowledging they were not the Noteholder or Investor, and that our Noteholder was XXXX, and XXXX acknowledge there is NO LIEN. SPS still refuses to issue the Correction of Assignment of Mortgage, There is No Assignment of Mortgage, there is No Mortgages, and No Liens.

Consumer Complaint: Im requesting the assistance of the CFPB to investigate SPS for failure to perform under investor- services guidelines and dual tracking of foreclosure. I had communicated with SPS on XXXX of 2022 that my self my family had came in contact with XXXX XXXX illness and my payment was going to be late due to my illness and the inability to work and generate money. SPS stated they sympathized woth my situation and would place me on a Covid forbearance during this time and once I was able to resume making payments I was to give them a call and they would allow me to resume to make payments. 3 months later I reached to SPS and advised I was ready to resume with my payments but at this point now they wanted me to resumit documents for loan modification review which I did. I sent SPS the following : 3 months bank statements, profit and loss, 2 years income tax, utility bills and faxed and emailed to them. As I called to get status of my review they stated sps was still reviewing my case and they didn't need any documents but that my loan was referred over to the attorneysfor foreclosure I begged them to stop the foreclosureon my home while they game a proper review as they promisedbut they refused i also advised them that what they where doing was illegal under Dual tracking laws of foreclosure but they stated it didn't pertain to them and they didn't have to abide by those rules since my investorwas private. Soon after I was denied for mortgage help and didn't matter how many times I applied or asked the reason why I don't qualify or requested somethingin writing they refused. The only thing an agent told me was since my loan originated during covid times they would not modifymy loan no matter what. I belive SPS purposely offered me a Covid forbearance knowingthat they where not going to help me afterwards. I've offered them cash to bring to the table in hopes of good-faith offer but they decline it all. I have not been assigned a single point of contact this entire time and each time I call to request status there is no notes and nobody can help me. I've requested for them to place the amount past due to the end of the loanor on the side of it so I can resume with my mortgagepayments but denial all request I've made. I belive this falls under the predatory lending practices since they allowed me to fall past due so many months by putting me under the forbearance and sps knowing I would not have the funds to repay back this amount. Sps has committed Negligenceand failure to perform under there promises covered under covid.

Consumer Complaint: My complaint with SPS is the lack of communication with the HAF Program regarding our approval. I spoke with XXXX from HAF in XXXX of XXXX to inform us that we were awarded the grant and loan totaling $ XXXX. In order for the process to begin I had to provide a statement in their message portal to agree to the terms. XXXX informed me that a request of documents was sent to SPS to complete and send back. I received a call from XXXX, a Rep from XXXX, a home counseling agency, checking on the status and I informed her. I just so happened to review the message board of HAF and saw that we had been denied because the funds had been exhausted due to the no response from SPS. I immediately called HAF and SPS only to get nowhere. I spoke with XXXX from SPS Ombudsman Department, and she informed me that she is aware that HAF has had technical issues sending request thru the portal and this could have happened again but this was early in the year. She has escalated my issue to management to see a better outcome. I am left feeling perplexed because I was told everything is fine just waiting on the documents from SPS. I spoke with XXXX from SPS Ombudsman office today and sent an urgent request to the investor to see about a workout plan due to this mishap. I had a sale date of XX/XX/XXXX and feeling very uneasy and filled with anxiety due to the unknown. As I ponder on this entire situation, I feel like I was not put into the best situation. After initially filing for bankruptcy, in XXXX, they did not accept our payment. That is when our attorney told us about the HAF program. All this time the payments are building up. This XXXX of XXXX, the HAF program tried to contact the servicer and waited on documents i know for over 10 weeks. Only for me to start the process all over again. This is when we got the approval for both the grant and loan. All of my coversations with each Rep was recorded by the service and XXXX. I received the most insensitive rude and not willing to do his job employee ever from the Servicer. So much so, my Rep from XXXX got into it with him. I was so great that it was captured and I had a witness. As a matter of fact, I was encouraged to seek counsel regarding this issue from several professionals.

Consumer Complaint: During COVID my wife lost her job and we couldn't pay the mortgage. We went into a temporary forbearance and then we got switched to a different servicer for our loan. They thought we were just not paying and treated us like that. Over the last year, we have been able to pay the mortgage and have paid it. They still think we can't pay for some reason and are pushing foreclosure and will not offer any other option. We can pay, will pay and will be staying in our home. Our actual lender ( XXXX XXXX ) who holds the loan wants us to be able to stay in our house and pay them off. SPS is simply just trying to foreclose. This is all from COVID time. We are now able to pay and want to find a way that works for both parties.

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of XXXX XXXX which occurred early this year, I am a XXXX XXXX XXXXr and after my XXXX I was unable to work due to injuries. I have tried to work with Select Portfolio Servicing and was given a repayment of {$7800.00} a month for 6 monthd. I can not afford this cost, i appealed the decision and was told that XXXX XXXX XXXX would need to allow any other modifications. I have not been able to find any contact info on this investor and now my home is on the verge of foreclosure. I have applied for help with Texas XXXX XXXX however the turn around time is significantly long. I really need some kind of help please.
