Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/22 XXXX from Resurgent Capital Services stating I owed money from a credit card {$1300.00}. I replied in writing asking where this debt was from and why. XX/XX/22 XXXX from Resurgent Capital Services stating they had initiated a review and then they sent a account summary which provides verification of debt. I replied in writing that this was not my name and I had never lived in NY where this persons address is listed. XX/XX/22 XXXX from Resurgent Capital Services stating again that they were sending me verification of debt. Again incorrect name and address. On XX/XX/22 I sent a letter to Resurgent Capital Services stating this was the wrong name and wrong address and that I would file a complaint if they did not stop sending something for someone else. XX/XX/22 Letter from Resurgent Capital Services stating again that they were sending me verification of debt. Again the incorrect name and address. Letters mailed to Resurgent Capital Services stating that again this is not my name or address. Also complaint filed with CFPB and States Attorney Generals of SC and NM.

I have been patiently waiting on their response to the written requests I sent. However, any modes of response or coordination were not taken on their end. They have not complied with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 USC Sections 1681i within the time allowed by law and continued reporting as unverified information which now, given all my attempts to address it directly with the creditor, as wilful negligence and non-compliance with federal statutes.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX Bank forward an amount to Resurgent Capital Services for an amount of XXXX $ unlawfully racking up a debt that I tried to inform XXXX XXXX bank of fraudulent charges. After unlawfully adding XXXX $ of extra charges they then forward this debt to Resurgent. I have been a victim of credit card theft and was trying to get it fix to only find out I had to report my findings within 60 days and it was too late, I had my card half way paid off and then an unknown charge of almost XXXX $ was made and for some reason my account went in the red. I feel as though I am not responsible for this debt as I tried to fix it and was denied ; now Resurgent Capital Services wants everything but my kitchen sink for proof of this happening.

Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we are all facing which has me sitting still at home and I saw the recent news about the multiple XXXX Data breaches. I decided to look at my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus and found that someone had used my Identity. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I contacted the Credit Bureau and told me to file an Identity Theft Report which I am doing. I appreciate your effort in getting this matter resolved. Thank you. Please let me know if you need any other information from me to block this information from my credit report. Thank you. "

Consumer Complaint: The Credit Bureaus stated LVNV Funding LLC Account # XXXX, was properly investigated but how can that be possible if the date last active is inaccurate, the date last reported is inaccurate, the date of last payment is inaccurate, the two year payment history is inaccurate, the payment status is inaccurate. This is ground for removal. They also violated my rights under 15 U.S.C 1681 section 604 A Section 2 : The law clearly states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. I Haven't given these accounts written permission to furnish these accounts on my credit report.
