Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice of assignment from Resurgent Capital stating that LVNV is now the current owner of the alleged debt. I reached out to them a couple weeks ago after calling XXXX XXXX XXXX and finding this information out. I have yet to receive a validation or dispute option. In LVNV initial letter they said the communication was from a debt collector. However they also mentioned this wasnt an attempt to collect. That notice was very confusing and deceptive because it did not include their next steps or what I needed to do in order to validate this debt. They also mailed a correspondence to an address that was giving to them without my consent.

Consumer Complaint: LVNV is required by law to send correspondence debt of validity to my address. I havent received any debt of validity by mail. Failure to provide rights to dispute and reporting an alleged debt to the credit reporting agencies is against the law. Additionally, there has been active police investigations and reports filed due to identity theft for various credit accounts under my name. Immediate deletion of the credit reporting to credit bureaus is required as I am also sending this complaint to the CFPB as well for violating FCRA section 623 ( a ) as the data furnisher and the FDCPA for credit reporting an alleged debt without debt of validity being sent to me by mail correspondence to the correct address and reviewing active FTC ID THEFT reports and police reports before reporting this alleged debt to XXXX.

Be advised that the description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information is hereby requested. Additionally, please provide the name, address, and telephone number of each person who personally verified this alleged accounts, so that I can inquire about how they " verified '' without providing any proof, bearing my signature. As per FTC opinion letter from Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX, you should be aware that a printout of a bill or itemized document does not constitute verification. I am again formally requesting a copies of any documents, bearing my signature, showing that I have a legally binding contractual obligation to pay you the alleged amount. Be aware that I am making a final goodwill attempt to have you clear up this matter. The listed items are inaccurate and incomplete, and represents a very serious error in your reporting.

I sent a certified letter to them verified my signature that I did business with them to no avail they would not send me any information with my signature. Dated XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX ; XXXX, Amount : {$950.00} Same as above. Many letters were sent last year also, XX/XX/XXXX. These cases are very old I would like it removed from my credit report just by verifying my signature, Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Consumer Complaint: Why is LVNV/RESURGENT still reporting my address at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NJ. Where did they ever get this address to start? Why are they still reporting the debts that they allegedly claim when they haven't been able to provide any signatures and have just copied and pasted names on bills? Where is a single receipt showing a signature? These guys have illegally obtained my PII and continue to harass me. They need to have a signature before they can even send someone to my house unless you want me suing the process server who will then sue you for not proving that they even have a right to step on my property. You have failed time and time again to prove that these debts are legitimate. All you guys do is make up copy/paste bills and then send them to people to scam them out of money. You have a document that was served to the wrong person.

Consumer Complaint: Hi I am submitting this XXXX XXXX, this isn't any influence and this is not a third party. XXXX has low and unfair credit number for me in their report. I have 87complained times. The problem has not been resolved. my XXXX has me at a credit score over 719 XXXX has me at a score around 590. That is a huge difference. XXXX paints me as a XXXX. my XXXXo say I have good credit. What the heck is going on here. i have almost no debt and my identity was stolen causing my score to drop n i made this clear for 120 days straight with XXXX i spoke to a representative agent name XXXX and XXXX XXXX and XXXX and XXXX and XXXX and XXXX XXXX from the fraud department they don't help waste ever and lie saying that its been disputed but come to find out was never disputed which is causing me more XXXX I prefer to speak to a us rept but they refused they had me on mute for 4 hours which was hurtful I have a perfect repayment record. I have very low credit utilization. I have three negative credit items outstanding debt now. I have modest but ok income. Social Security. Something is wrong with XXXX. I do not understand why they are abusing consumers .This was a fist step towards attempting resolution.next step is to take transition to court to sue for defamation of character of my name and damages that was caused to me They kept lying telling me they disputed n its not reporting but it keep reporting this inaccurate information without my authorization. They refused or were unable to verify n remove the inquiries and its been 120 days n they record the calls n admitted they had my police report n ftc and affidavit That was after attempting to contact XXXX more than 87 times. XXXX is an abusive company. They are supposed to be protecting consumers. They need to be reigned in. they are causing me severe XXXX and stopping me from getting this job offer n now im XXXX n cant provide to my XXXX year old daughter PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE im XXXX now. nobody helping me and I don't wan na live no more i cant get aproved for anything which is casing me even more XXXX
