Consumer Complaint: I am writing to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) regarding FRAUDULENT Account information that remain on my credit report despite multiple attempts to correct the information. The credit reporting agencies and the creditor have failed to provide any documentation or evidence of the accuracy of their reporting, yet they continue to report the inaccurate information on my credit report. I have sent multiple letters to the credit reporting agencies disputing the accuracy of the late payments, citing laws such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Credit Billing Act. In response, the credit reporting agencies claimed to have verified the accuracy of their reporting, without providing any evidence or documentation to support their claims. I have also sent a letter to the creditor disputing ownership of this account, and demanding the immediate removal of the account, as well as the production of documentation such as transactional history, billing statements, and I have provided a copy of my FTC report and Police Report as I was the robbed and my identifying documents were stolen. My identity has been compromised any this account was opened fraudulently. The creditor has failed to respond to my request. Despite my efforts, the fraudlent account remains on my credit report, damaging my credit score and making it difficult for me to obtain credit or loans

Consumer Complaint: I have not received a 1099-C form from the creditor, which would indicate that the debt was cancelled or forgiven. Without this form, I believe it is inaccurate and unfair to report it as a write-off on my credit report per code 6050p of the Internal Revenue Service XXXX As a responsible borrower, I have always made an effort to pay my debts on time and in full. Therefore, it is particularly distressing to have a write-off reported on my credit report, especially when I have not received any notification or documentation indicating that the debt has been cancelled or forgiven. I request that you investigate this I have not received a 1099-C form from the creditor, which would indicate that the debt was cancelled or forgiven. Without this form, I believe it is inaccurate and unfair to report it as a write-off on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: LVNV collections are refusing to remove accounts from my credit report. I'm currently on the phone in regards to this matter with the agent/supervisor. This is damaging my reputation which is a violation pursuant to the FCRA. I've applied for credit and was denied due to this, I also have a right to privacy and theyre willingly and knowingly reporting inaccurate information on my credit file. I also never gave this company my written permission to furnish on my credit file. They have stated that theyre not required to provide a consumer with a validation of debt, and that a verification of debt is all theyre required to do. I'm disputing this account on those grounds. I do not validate this debt at all, so how can they validate?. They can not, so i'm requesting for these alleged accounts to be removed from my credit file immediately.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 a XXXX XXXX credit card was opened fraudulently under my name using my social security number. A total amount of {$1000.00} dollars was accumulated and then sent to collections. I filed a dispute on XX/XX/2018 and it was not accepted. XXXX decided the account was accurate. The account is not accurate or valid. I called XXXX XXXX bank and the contact information they have in their system for this specific account does not match any of my personal information. The email doesnt match, the phone number doesnt match and the address does not match. XXXX XXXX XXXX is stating that I should contact XXXX to dispute the account but XXXX will not accept the dispute! I had my wallet stolen in 2018 and had to replace everything in it including my social security card and that is the only way someone could have accessed my Social security number to open this account. But XXXX will not remove the account from my report.

When disputed with LVNV funding they told me to reach out to XXXX & XXXX .This company took {$280.00} out my account. Balanced never change. When I dispute to verify the debt I was threaten a second time with continuing garnishment letters. That took {$80.00} dollars out my account to stop garnishment. I disputed to see documents of original creditors but none was provided. I feel like my fair credit rights are being violated and retaliated due to my dispute to verify original documents from original creditor with original contract and signatures.

Consumer Complaint: LVNV Funding continues to illegally report two collections account on my credit report. LVNV Funding attempted to sue me in court, in which they could not prove the alleged debts belong to me and the judge dismissed the case. They refuse to remove a debt that one does not belong to me, and two one they can not legally tie to me. Please investigate this company as they are not abiding by the FCRA.
