Consumer Complaint: My complaint is the the debt collector keeps opening and then closing the account which continues to cause harm to my credit report. One month they will report the account as closed and then the next month they report it as open, this has gone on for several months and causes my score to drop everytime. This action is being taking without me doing anything on my end to trigger it. There are several reviews on XXXX from consumers complaining about the same thing. There is no reason why the account status should change from open to close from month to month.

Consumer Complaint: I sent a debt validation letter to LVNV Funding LLC over 30 days ago and have not received a response. It has come to my attention that the collection agency associated with this account, LVNV Funding LLC, is not licensed to operate in the state of Texas. As a consumer, I have the right to ensure that any information reported on my credit file is accurate, fair, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The licensing requirements for collection agencies in Texas are outlined in the Texas Finance Code, specifically Chapter 392. In this case, the collection agency 's lack of proper licensure raises concerns regarding the legitimacy and compliance of their debt collection practices. I kindly request that you conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and take appropriate action to remove the collection account from my credit file. The following details are provided to assist you in your investigation : Account Number : XXXX Collection Agency : LVNV Funding LLC Original Creditor : XXXX XXXX XXXX Date of Collection Account Reporting : XX/XX/2018 Furthermore, I have attached copies of any supporting documentation, such as correspondence or records, that demonstrate the collection agency 's lack of proper licensure in the state of Texas. The presence of an unlicensed collection agency 's account on my credit file violates my rights as a consumer under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to file a complaint against XXXX regarding the illegal reporting of collections on my credit report. The collections that XXXX has reported are inaccurate, outdated, and can not be verified. As a result, I have been denied credit and other opportunities. The accounts that must be removed are : LVNV FUNDING LLC XXXX LVNV FUNDING LLC XXXX LVNV FUNDING LLC XXXX XXXX is in XXXX of multiple sections of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), including but not limited to : Section 604, which requires credit reporting agencies ( CRAs ) to provide consumers with a copy of their credit report upon request. It also requires CRAs to disclose to consumers the sources of the information in their credit reports. Section 609, which requires CRAs to provide consumers with a notice of their rights under the FCRA when they receive a copy of their credit report. The notice must include information about the consumer 's right to dispute errors in their credit report and to request a credit score. Section 611, which requires CRAs to investigate consumer disputes and to correct or delete inaccurate or incomplete information in their credit reports. It also requires CRAs to reinvestigate disputes if the consumer provides new information. Section 615, which requires CRAs to follow reasonable procedures to ensure the maximum possible accuracy of the information in credit reports. It also sets out the conditions under which CRAs may furnish credit reports to third parties. Section 623, which includes subsections ( a ) ( 1 ), ( a ) ( 2 ), ( b ), and ( c ). These subsections require CRAs to maintain reasonable procedures to ensure the maximum possible accuracy of the information in their credit reports, require furnishers of credit information to provide complete and accurate information to CRAs, require CRAs to reinvestigate consumer disputes if the consumer provides new information, and require CRAs to delete information that is outdated, incorrect, or can not be verified. I have attempted to dispute the inaccurate collections with XXXX, but my disputes have been either ignored or rejected without proper investigation. XXXX 's failure to comply with the FCRA has caused me financial harm and has damaged my credit score. I am requesting that XXXX immediately remove the inaccurate collections from my credit report and take all necessary steps to ensure that they are not reported again in the future. Additionally, I am requesting that XXXX provide me with a free copy of my updated credit report. If XXXX fails to comply with this request, I will be forced to consider legal action to seek damages, as well as attorneys ' fees and costs, for their violation of the FCRA. I may also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ) and other relevant regulatory agencies. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Consumer Complaint: Previously disputed account with XXXX asking to verify or delete because I do not recall having this debt. Account reported only by XXXX and stated as Closed account payment status of collection charge off with a credit limit of {$250.00} and last payment done XX/XX/19. Reporting account purchase by another lender. I hav not received any document stating my signature making me responsible to this debt... ..*Credit report is currently reporting account with all three bureaus and stating account as closed while derogatory and collection by XXXX while Open, derogatory and collection by XXXX and XXXX all at the same time. There is no way that account can have a balance of {$470.00} if credit limit was showing as {$250.00} Currently account is reporting as account in collection with a pass due. There should not be payment history, pass due nor late payments reporting especially on a dead account. XXXX is reporting consecutive charge off on a closed and dead account.

Please supply the information below so that I have all information : The name and address of the creditor to whom the debt is currently owed, the account number used by that creditor, and the amount owed. If this debt started with a different creditor, provide the name and address of the original creditor, the account number used by that creditor, and the amount owed to that creditor at the time it was transferred. When you identify the original creditor, please provide any other name by which I might know them, if that is different from the official name. In addition, tell me when the current creditor obtained the debt and who the current creditor obtained it from. Provide verification and documentation that there is a valid basis for claiming that I must pay the debt to the current creditor. Consumer Complaint: I have a judgement against me that was opened while I was in a different state because my daughter was XXXX XXXX for several weeks ; Thereafter, was admitted in a XXXX program for a week. When I returned back to Arizona, the paperwork was sitting at my door. Which lead me to contact the collector ( Resurgent ) to settle on all accounts and was told I can not because the debt was sent to there lawyer. I settled what was opened and thereafter contacted the lawyer to settle the account, i was told I had to pay the account in full which was {$1400.00}. I said i can pay half as a settlement and agree to delete from credit report. there response was no, we need the entire amount. A little after that, I was goin over my paystub and I was being garnished 10 % of my pay, with no notice. Afte reaching out to the courts, I was told by a clerk, the judgement is non-existent. Please help either settle or delete due to false and different amounts requested.. See attachments for receipts and court documents left at my door.

Consumer Complaint: After reviewing my consumer report on XX/XX/2023, I noticed LVNV Funding LLC is showing on my report as a collection. They are attempting to collect an alleged debt amount of {$590.00}. As of XX/XX/2023, I've been sending out NOTICE FOR VALIDATION OF DEBT PER 12 C.F.R. 1006.34 to the company. LVNV has not provide the documents requested and continues to keep reporting on my consumer report. This inaccurate reporting is causing severe damages to my character and reputation.
