Consumer Complaint: My PNC Savings Account has been attacked by unauthorized ACH Fraud. Starting XX/XX/2019 - today XX/XX/2019 I have had {$8000.00} taken from me as a result of the ACH fraud. Secondly, this has also had an effect on my PNC checking account where money was beginning to be transferred out due to unauthorized ACH fraud. All items marked in the account activity as ACH are fraudulent.

Consumer Complaint: Hi there, I reported several fraud charges on my PNC credit card to PNC bank on XXXX XXXX. The representative informed me that they will take care of the fraud charges and send me a new card. But I had a bill due approaching. So I asked the representative whether I can make the payment to my old card. He replied that I can't. And I need to wait until the new card arrives so that I can make payment to the new card for that bill. However, I haven't received the new card until past due day. A {$27.00} late fee occurred. I contacted them about this issue but this time, the representative said that I don't need to wait for the new card to make the payment. I can make a phone call to pay. This information was not disclosed when I contacted PNC earlier. I had no idea there is another option like that to pay. It is the PNC representative 's incorrect information leads to the late fee. However, PNC refused to waive the late fee. Please help me with this issue. Thanks.

Consumer Complaint: I received a XXXX APR promotion from PNC for my credit card account. I wrote a check to myself in order to consolidate my credit card bills and went to a PNC branch on XX/XX/2019 to deposit the funds in the amount of {$7700.00}. Funds posted to my account today XX/XX/2019 in the XXXX. I went to pay a bill and at th end of business and PNC reversed the funds and withdrew from my account after it deposited!!!!! Not only did PNC not notify me I almost bounced my checking account due to their negligence. If PNC needed to place the funds on hold from a Regulation CC the bank should have put the funds in a pending status only and not deposited the funds. I called PNC customer service to find out what happened. The PNC credit card department stated they couldnt see anything in my account and to return to the branch which is unacceptable. Removing deposited cleared funds not only is a terrible practice it is a UDAPP violation against me as they potentially caused overdrafts fees on my end for insufficient funds. This is not only unfair but PNC didnt even advise me. Talk about a bait and switch situation. I am looking for asssitance from the CFPB on this matter and no one could assist me today since the branch is closed and apparently when you have escalations such as these no one is there to assist.

Consumer Complaint: My husband and I have a Home Equity Loan with PNCBank. The interest rate is a FIXED Rate at 2.89 %. I went online yesterday to our account. After doing some online bill paying, I opened up our Home Equity Loan account. I clicked on the tab : Payment Details to see the amounts we paid in interest for the year XXXX for our taxes. I noticed something really strange. The amounts that we paid in interest and the amounts that we paid in principle didn't seem right. They were going up and down up and down. That shouldn't be with a fixed rate. I contacted PNC Bank to find out why this was happening. I spoke with 8 different people. They kept transferring me to someone else. Something is going on and it's NOT right. Please help us. I have printed out the proof dating back to XX/XX/XXXX up to XX/XX/XXXX. Maybe you'll be able to get to the bottom of this. We are not able to. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: This concerns a report to the " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ''. A XXXX XXXX from PNC Bank k submitted a " Dishonored Check Reporting From '' to this organization. The form listed a check. The listed check was honored. I asked that they correct their error but to no avail. A XXXX XXXX from PNC Bank called me and just read off pre-prepared form with excuses without substantively addressing the problem or taking an interest in correcting the problem. Now I have an attorney grievance committee filing a complaint about a dishonored check that was in fact honored.

Consumer Complaint: Unbeknown to me, my PNC checking account was compromised by some individual, that we don't know, using a mobile application to cash multiple unauthorized or fraudulent checks. Immediately upon learning of this theft on XX/XX/XXXX, the bank was notified in person the very next day, since the customer service center was already closed. PNC explained not to worry that they would take care of this theft and refund our money. I walked away relieved! Fast forward to XXXX, the theft claim was denied because we reported the fraud 30 days after the first occurrence. Unfortunately, we had no idea unauthorized checks were being processed by PNC since we mostly use ATM, ACH or cash/balances for transactions. The thief started cashing unauthorized fake checks in small amounts to avoid suspicion - sadly it worked. PNC should have a noticed the high increase of checks being processed since as noted earlier, I use maybe 2-3 check per month. We were not notified of this unusual activity. PNC has copies of the all fake checks with clear false signatures. This individual knew how to easily compromise a checking account and steal money from PNC. Worse yet, they will do it again if not stopped by the authorities ... While it is ultimately the consumers duty to maintain the health of their checking accounts, whether high or low balances, I trust PNC or any other bank for one main reason - to keep my money safe from thieves. I have been a loyal PNC customer in good standing, for at least 10 years if not more, and also still have a money market account with them. Yet some of the recent conversations with PNC staff regarding this blatant check fraud, were questioning of my character and honesty. At this time, we have filed an appeal with PNC requesting all my stolen funds be returned to my account. Any assistance or guidance CFPB can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Consumer Complaint: Succinctly, since I am providing a Word document with all relevant details, PNC 's system did not credit my payments correctly which caused the system to think that I was delinquent. After numerous phone calls, voicemails, and attempts PNC has corrected the system but they damaged my credit report by reporting in the month of XXXX that I was late 30 days and had an incorrect balance. I submitted a dispute with XXXX and in XXXX the late reporting was gone and the balance was correctly updated however, XXXX has not been updated which has damaged my credit rating. I am not sure why PNC 's system was incorrect and no one at PNC could tell me either. However, they must have noticed something as they corrected it behind the scenes without speaking to me. The Word document attached shows the numerous phone calls, dates, and actions/inactions.

Consumer Complaint: I reached out to PNC Mortgage on XX/XX/19 to inquire about my escrow statement, and I believe they are in violation of RESPA. RESPA states that PNC can not collect more than one sixth of my annual escrow amount to hold as a cushion. My taxes this year were {$7900.00} and my insurance was {$970.00} ( {$8900.00} total ). We will have {$2000.00} in escrow after the XX/XX/XXXX payment. Our escrow is increasing to $ XXXX/month and they have also told us we have to pay a shortage of {$960.00}. The total for the next 12 months with these figures is {$11000.00}. That is an overage of {$2900.00} when our escrow payment is now {$740.00} ( 4 times the monthly escrow amount ). I'd like to confirm this is, in fact, a RESPA violation, and what recourse we have. Thank you
