Consumer Complaint: I was using my PNC debit card this Monday XXXX to take my daughter to the zoo. I had all of my money accounted for and knew how much I could spend at the zoo. I only bought 1 bottle of water for {$4.00} and there was plenty of money in my account.
I woke up the next day and saw that my PNC account was somehow overdrawn. They also decided to take all the money out of my savings account, which was about {$240.00} and placed it into my checking account, which supposedly fixed the overdraw. Even after transferring the money they then decided to charge me {$39.00} three times for a total of {$100.00}.
I called PNC and was put on hold for about 25 minutes. When I finally was able to get a person to talk to they had no clue what they were doing and did not want to help me. I eventually just hung up on them because they were not being helpful.
I called PNC bank and finally got a hold of someone that tried to help me. I wanted them to explain how I was over drafted and I wanted the fees refunded. They were not able to explain to me how my account became over drawn and they also refused to return the {$100.00} in fees.
I asked to speak with a supervisor, but apparently, they did not have one available to speak with me
