Issue: Struggling to pay mortgage
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: In XXXX my ex-H and I got a HELOC. We made interest-only payments some in the {$1000.00} amounts per month. My ex-H lost his job and I worked overtime to make payments until the overtime stopped. We went through a divorce and I tried to work with RBC ( now PNC XXXX to do a loan modification but they could not help me. The account eventually went to collections. We were unable to come to a resolution. When the Collections representative contacted me last he said the Statute of Limitations has run and could no longer collect. PNC Bank charged off the loan in XXXX so based on the Collections Rep 's statement about the XXXX and the Bank writing off the loan I thought the matter was finished. Now I'm closing on my house tomorrow and have been trying to work with someone at PNC to release the lien that was recorded against my property but to no avail. The Note and Mortgage are no longer in effect based on the Statute of Limitations but they won't release the lien until the account is paid in full. I believe the Bank lost it's right to collect as they never filed suit, etc. and the XXXX has run. If this issue had be dealt with before my ex-H would have been responsible for XXXX this loan but now I am being forced to pay the {$150000.00} from the sale of my house in order to close on XX/XX/XXXX. How can a Note and Mortgage not be valid and the bank still collect? I need assistance getting the {$150000.00} back from the bank that was unfairly collected.

Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: I have had a line of credit ( Mortgage ) with Pnc Bank for over 20 years. My credit score is XXXX to XXXX, They denied the loan or refinance. The loan is due XXXX XXXX for XXXX. We tried to refinance and sent them all the information required and requested. They turned me down. Then ask me to apply for loan modification. This has been going on since last XX/XX/2020. Issue: Confusing or missing disclosures
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: I made an international wire on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$8500.00} from a PNC Bank branch in XXXX, XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, a charge for {$120.00} appeared on my account without explanation. Upon further inquiry, I was told that the charge was for the above stated wire. This fee was never disclosed to me during the transaction, nor is it listed on the actual wire confirmation form, signed by me. The agent at the bank indicated that all their bank fees are listed on regular bank statements. I find this dishonest and predatory behavior. It is wholly reasonable for me to expect that associated fees would be disclosed to me at the time of making the transaction, either verbally and/or in writing on the wire receipt, neither of which was done.

Issue: Trouble using your card
Subissue: Credit card company won't increase or decrease your credit limit
Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX - payment of XXXX was made XX/XX/XXXX - said payment was returned ( was NOT notified until XX/XX/XXXX that the payment was returned ) XX/XX/XXXX - Credit card by PNC bank SHOWED that I had XXXX of credit. proceeded to use the card during the month. XX/XX/XXXX - after 24 days notified that the card was over the credit limit. XX/XX/XXXX - credit card revoked for being over the credit limit XX/XX/XXXX - spoke to PNC credit card department - XX/XX/XXXX - payment of XXXX to settle the credit card made. XXXX - spoke to PNC CC department / manager to resolve the issue. PNC would not reinstate the card or give an answer why it took 25 days to notify me of the payment not going through. PNC takes NO responsibility for their actions. XXXX - spoke to PNC Audit department - revoked due to the payment being returned and spending habits. deemed too risky. XXXX - seeking to " pull back " the most recent payment of XXXX - if I can't use the card might as well put the XXXX to use elsewhere and just pay down the card gradually. I might pay XXXX back but certainly the XXXX can stay in limbo. NOTE : PNC should take responsibility for NOT notifying the consumer ( ME ) of the payment not clearing in a sufficent amount of time. They need to take responsiblity of anything over the credit limit since THEY / there systems did NOT reflect the the balance correctly.

A call was made to a service representative to confirm XX/XX/21 : Contacted PNC again to remind them the bonus requirements were met and it's been 90 days. The rep first said " no '' to my query. When I challenged if it was a system error or they're denying their advertised claim, the rep then changed to say it was a mistake in his reading the statement history. He said it would appear " soon '' as a credit on a statement. XX/XX/21 : It is now approaching 120 days and still no sign of the bonus being credited.
