Consumer Complaint: I applied for a conventional home loan with PNC mortgage, which is the company I used to purchase my home 12 years prior. I was relocating a few states away and process seemed to be going slowly with no updates and then finally no communication from the loan officer or her processors. My Realtor and I inquired as to the Appraisal and was told it was completed, but then the Appraisal company told me and my Realtor a few weeks later that they didn't ever complete it. I had paid almost {$600.00} for the appraisal ahead of time. I ended up going to another Mortgage Broker ( XXXX XXXX ) to save the contract and I was able to get the loan closed after a few weeks. I requested my money back from PNC and the loan officer on XX/XX/2021 and was told she would look into it but I have not had any further communication or my money refunded to me. I ended up paying for an Appraisal that I never received and having to pay again for one I did receive from the new lender.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Maryland, XXXX PNC BANK XXXX XXXX XXXX Account # : XXXX XXXX XXXX I disputed this account on XX/XX/21 in CFPB complaint number XXXX and requested a method of validation. It is now XX/XX/21 and I havent received any response in regards to validation. For that reason, this account needs to be deleted immediately! Also, once the account is initially disputed there is supposed to be a notice of dispute placed on the consumer report and as you see below, there is no notice of dispute. For this reason, this account needs to be deleted immediately and I am also seeking remedy, out of court for {$400000.00} from XXXX and {$400000.00} from XXXX and {$400000.00} from XXXX and {$400000.00} from PNC BANK for continuous and willful violation of my rights, pain and suffering as I suffer from XXXX and XXXX due to this information being inaccurately and unverifiably placed on my consumer transaction report month after month and year after year. I have spoken to certified medical staff and can provide documentation. I have not been able to get a car, job or mortgage with this information on my report and I have documentation of that as well. You may send a check, payable to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Maryland XXXX and please delete this account from my credit report. My affidavit of truth will soon follow this letter if we can not work this out outside of court.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 XXXX sent a loan payoff check to the address given to me by BBVA. The BBVA representative apparently gave me a PNC address ( which they are currently completing a merger ). The check went to a PNC location, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, PA XXXX and was signed by an XXXX XXXX. XXXX is saying that PNC cashed the check. The payment was never applied to my BBVA account. BBVA opened two investigations ( Ticket # XXXX and Tracking XXXX ) and can not find the check, which I've sent them a copy of with information about it being cashed. PNC says they have no record of my check and can't access my account because they haven't completed a system merge. I can not get in contact with the PNC location that the check physically went to. I recently spoke with PNC and they said it's possible the check was 'written but not issued '. XXXX can't perform a stop payment and reissue the check to BBVA because PNC has cashed this check. It's seems that {$23000.00} is in limbo and I'm stuck with paying two loans at the same time or risk my credit score suffering.

Consumer Complaint: I became a victim of fraud under false pretense, I think this is more common than we all know about. I was speaking to this man who was in the XXXX and advised the government was sending money to help him. This man eventually obtained my account information, login information, physical address. He took over my accounts, deposited checks, and caused a negative balance in two of my accounts. He also sent 10 XXXX to my address which was then sent to an address. My XXXX account balance was outrageous due to this. XXXX quickly addressed the fraud matter, removed the fraud charges and my account is back to normal. My two bank accounts have not been resolved, They are treating me like a criminal. They want me to pay everything back and keep saying everything is my fault. They are not communicating with me except to collect money. WHO PROTECTS ME, makes you never want to trust a bank ever!

Consumer Complaint: I am in the process of applying for a mortgage and this is affecting me big time. I have spoke to SEVERAL Customer Service Representatives in regards to my account reporting with a 30 day RECENT late pay. My account was never late and I informed PNC on multiple occasions that I would be on XXXX XXXX from XXXX until XXXX. I asked if they had any way to protect my account while on leave and they told me that since it is a secure card they don't have any card protection they can offer BUT they would notate my account and I would not be accessed any late fees or have any late payments reported. THEY STILL REPORTED MY ACCOUNT LATE AND ASSESSED LATE FEES of {$35.00} on XX/XX/XXXX ; {$35.00} on XX/XX/XXXX ; {$25.00} on XX/XX/XXXX which total {$85.00}. I spoke to a customer service rep on XX/XX/XXXX and she refunded me 1 late fee of {$35.00} and it posted to my account but then they turned right around on XX/XX/XXXX and charged me a late fee of XX/XX/XXXX. I have NEVER been LATE on this account and I even properly communicated my entire situation with giving birth to my son on XX/XX/XXXX and they STILL put a late payment on my credit report when it wasn't even late. Please update all 3 credit bureaus reflecting NO LATE PAYMENTS and my account as PAID AND CURRENT. Refund me the late fees that were posted to my account.

Consumer Complaint: First off, to preface this issue, I would like to explain that I have tried to resolve this issue with BBVA, in fact they admitted over the phone that the bank was indeed wrong in charging me the NSF fee, but they weren't able to do anything about it due to the same error being made the month before, in very similar circumstances. So, their system won't " allow '' them to refund the fee, even though it was charged by mistake! This was verbally admitted to me on two occasion. Anyways, moving on : On XX/XX/21 I was charged an NSF fee of {$32.00} for an attempted {$32.00} debit from my account. This makes zero sense, as my account balance the day before, on XX/XX/21, was {$100.00}, and on XX/XX/21, my account balance was {$350.00}. This is all shown on my statement. The bank employees confirmed this as well, and weren't able to give me a single reason as to why I was charged the fee, and like I stated above, it appeared to be a mistake. That being said, no one was able to help me. They said it was impossible to refund me the fee since a similar incident happened the month before in XXXX, when I ALSO had funds available for the debit but was charged an NSF fee regardless. I find this to be absolutely bonkers, immoral, and wrong on so many levels. I am requesting assistance in getting this fee refunded to me, and compensated for my time in resolving this issue.

Consumer Complaint: I received an email promotion from BBVA Credit Card on XXXX for 0 % on all purchases from XXXX to XXXX for 6 billing cycles. The offer had to be activated by XXXX which I did. During XX/XX/2021 I charged approximately {$3800.00} on the 0 % offer. My XXXX XXXX statement showed purchases of {$1900.00}, not all of which was charged in XXXX as I understood the offer to cover. I paid my prior balance of {$1200.00} in full prior to the due date of XXXX. That statement showed NO INTEREST charges and NO PROMO balance. My XXXX XXXX statement showed purchases of {$3700.00}, of which all but {$770.00} was charged in XXXX, I was however charged {$3.00} in interest on BBVA 's purchase balance of {$180.00}. My promo balance was {$3100.00}. On XXXX I called BBVA to reverse the interest charge and given ticket # XXXX to confirm the reversal. To cover the non-XXXX charged + extra I made a payment of {$1100.00} on XXXX. My XXXX XXXX statement showed purchases of {$1700.00}. I had paid in full ALL charged NOT covered by the 0 % interest offer, but I was charged {$19.00} in interest and the {$3.00} prior interest was NOT credited. BBVA showed a purchase balance of {$910.00} and a promo balance of {$3400.00}. I called BBVA again for 1 hour on XXXX, finally speaking with Supervisor XXXX to reverse ALL interest charge. She did not understand why I was being charged interest but didnt give me a ticket #. I made 2 payments totaling {$1700.00} prior to the due date to cover my new charges to insure NO MORE interest charges in the XXXX statement. My XXXX XXXX statement showed purchases of {$370.00}. I was again charged interest, this time {$21.00} and NONE of the prior interest was credited. BBVA showed a purchase balance of {$1000.00} and a promo balance of {$3200.00}. BBVA was obviously applying my new purchase payments to my PROMO purchases which were 0 % interest until XXXX. I spoke with a BBVA supervisor, XXXX XXXX, emp. # XXXX, on XXXX who confirmed payments were going to the 0 % purchases because I had not called BBVA to specify where to apply my payments. He also told me to call BBVA 's CS # XXXX as BBVA has NO BILLING dept. and tell them how much and when I was making a payment and to apply it to my new XXXX purchases of {$370.00}. I did, saying I was making a {$400.00} payment on XXXX to be applied to my new purchases FIRST. He gave me ticket # XXXX and said he would have ALL interest reversed and call me by XXXX to confirm all was correct. I received no call. I did get my XXXX XXXX statement showing {$14.00} in new purchases, {$3.00} in new interest, a purchase balance of {$180.00}, and a promo balance of {$2900.00}. I have NO idea where they are getting their figures. I called BBVA again today. I spoke with Supervisor XXXX in XXXX, who saw all the notes and told me the charges were valid and wouldn't be reversed. I asked him who regulated BBVA. He didn't know, but gave me their legal dept #. 3 calls later and on hold for 10 minutes I was told to contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I did and was directed to this site to file this complaint. I believe BBVA to be making fraudulent promotions of 0 % interest rates they have no intention of honoring. In addition, a week later I received another promotion offer of 10 % back on all purchases made during XXXX up to {$50.00}. THAT encouraged me to charge more with BBVA than I normally would have as I didn't really need the 0 %. I did receive that credit on XXXX which {$1.00} more than the {$48.00} I have been charged in interest so far in BBVA 's 0 % promotion. When I add in the HOURS I've spent trying to understand, correct, and finally discovering BBVA 's false promotion, I lost WAY MORE THAN {$48.00} IN INTEREST. BBVA owes me much more and should be investigated for their actions. Thank you. PS My account # changed from ending in XXXX to ending in XXXX in XX/XX/2021.
