She called me to tell me that she received and email from XXXX on last Friday XX/XX/XXXX and that she believed it would be have an answer by this Monday which was yesterday XX/XX/. As of right not all my bills can not be paid because they have my funds on lockdown. I have the release showing that the IRS released the money transfer to me and the bank " XXXX XXXX tax accountants at the bank told me when I called that they released the check two weeks ago and that PNC never called them for clearance. I want them release my funds or give me an explanation as to why they haven't. This is insane.

Issue: Applying for a mortgage or refinancing an existing mortgage
Subissue: Changes in loan terms during the application process
Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2023 I received a XXXX solicitation from PNC Bank about their Choice Home Equity Line of Credit product. This mailer did not specify debt to income or XXXX limits but encouraged one to " call, apply online, or visit a branch ''. On XX/XX/XXXX I visited the PNC branch in downtown XXXX on the corner of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and after handling my business with the teller inquired a XXXX licensed individual ( # XXXX ) specifically about the XXXX limitations of the offer. I was told that PNC would do " 80 % of your equity '' implying a 96 % XXXX and the individual pulled up my home on zillow to provide more detail to the calculation. Based on this conversation I applied online on XX/XX/XXXX and received preliminary approval for the requested amount ( {$100000.00} ). However, no where on the application, the approval, or any other of the documents provided by PNC did they specify an XXXX limit, merely referencing " acceptable valuation ''. After receipt of the property appraisal I received a counter offer for 61 % of requested amount and XXXX the previously communicated interest rate spread over prime ( Prime + 0.16 % to XXXX + 2.77 % ). If PNC had been honest and forthright about the XXXX limitations on the product when I initially inquired I would not have gone through the time and expense of applying as an 85 % XXXX was unlikely to meet my needs. PNC induced me to apply under false & misleading pretenses ( higher XXXX than actual offeres ), concealed this fact at every stage of the approval process, and only revealed thier true intent after all documents were submitted, my credit had been pulled, the appraisal had been completed, and PNC had already added themselves to my homeowners insurance as a second XXXX holder ( despite no such relationship existing ) in anticipation of this abusive process succeeding.

Issue: Struggling to pay mortgage
Subissue: An existing modification, forbearance plan, short sale, or other loss mitigation reli
Consumer Complaint: I sent an email to PNC advocate over a week ago asking what was I supposed to do with the current modification offer due on XX/XX/XXXX in the meantime while I wait to hear from them by XX/XX/. I requested for a more affordable mod. According to HUD.Gov PNC is supposed to offer homeowners affordable monthly payments by either reducing the P & I to prevent default on monthly payments. PNC continues to offer high-interest-rate loans that are not affordable. Their last offer, which I did not request a mod of monthly payments for {$2000.00}. I want my loan to go back in its original state to where I was paying {$1300.00} per month, which is more affordable since I now have job to cover my monthly expenses. I want my payments reduce and I need answers as to what am I supposed to do with this loss mitigation offer that is due by XX/XX/?

Consumer Complaint: On Saturday XXXX ( around XXXX XXXX ) I went to PNC bank to the ATM located in XXXX NC. I wanted to deposit money into my XXXX Banking account. According to XXXX, I could use this ATM to make the deposit. I got to the ATM, followed commands on screen to make the deposit. Submitted the money, machine sounds like it was counting the money. There was a phone number located on the machine that I called. It just said that the customer service dept was closed because it was after hours. I took a picture of screen with my cellphone so I would have some kind of proof. I got to work on XXXX ( Monday ), reached out to PNC back, they said I needed to contact XXXX. I reached out to XXXX, even spoke to a supervisor, and they both said it was on PNC. Called PNC once again and was on hold for XXXX minutes to be told the same thing.
