Consumer Complaint: I signed of the the virtual wallet performance select account with PNC bank on or around XXXX of 2023. They advertised a bonus of {$400.00} dollars of account opening with direct deposits of XXXX of more. I met this minimum amount but they did not credit my account for the promotion as advertised. When I called to try to address this, they refused to fix the issue. They claimed I opened only the basic account, however, some error on their website may have caused this. I met all the requirements for the promotion but they refuse to honor it. This is false advertising and fraud.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2017, we signed a home equity loan with PNC Bank. In retrospect, we determined ( and we can prove it ) that due to our XXXX, XXXX, and social backgrounds, plus our dire financial situation at the time, PNC Banks agent manipulated us to hastily sign an adjustable rate loan when we clearly taught we were engaging for a fixed rate one. For the past 10 months, PNC has been giving us the run around, in an obvious refusal to recognize the patent fraud. The bank has many other predatory practices which we have been victims of and we have documented them.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, my name is XXXX XXXX. I am a Victim of Identity Theft. At the beginning of this year, I attempted to open a Business Checking account with PNC. After two days, my account was closed due to " fraud ''. What really happened was they requested an XXXX XXXX XXXX report and from what they saw, they decided not to open my account and mark my file as " FRAUD ''. I think that's ridiculously unfair. I have disputed all the negative information on my XXXX XXXX XXXX report and yet PNC still doesn't give me a chance to prove myself and allow me to open ANY type of account. I think it's truly discriminatory and it makes me extremely sad. As a customer, I wanted to bring my personal and business banking checking accounts to PNC and now I don't think so. I just wanted to take the time to report them because I think they're being extremely unfair. Thank you, Happy Holidays!

Consumer Complaint: I have an existing line of credit account that I've had at PNC bank since XXXX. Then around XX/XX/XXXX, I applied by phone for a {$15000.00} line increase. PNC rejected my application for reasons that did not make sense with my credit history, so I applied for an appeal. I also sent a letter to PNC on XX/XX/XXXX requesting a copy of my original telephone application and the notes that were placed on my file because I suspect that the representative or the underwriter ( or someone ) wrote inaccurate information on my telephone application and file which caused my line increase application to get rejected. About a month later ( today XX/XX/XXXX ) I called PNC again and was told that my appeal application was denied but the representative would not tell me the reason ( s ) why. The rep also refused to send me another denial letter for the appeal application and refuses to send me a copy of my original telephone application along with copies of the notes placed on my file for this line increase. PNC also won't mail the first rejection letter to my home and is now demanding that I go into the branch and receive it there. I also received a call from a PNC Case Manager yesterday XX/XX/XXXX who demanded to know " what I wanted. '' I also told the Case Manager I want a copy of my original telephone application and the notes on file for this line increase request and she also stated that she could not provide the documents to me.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX 2023 I attempted to set up payments to XXXX per month with PNC, my loan servicer. They made this process extremely hard as they would only do it through regular XXXX mail. Also, they wanted an extra payment made up front. I obliged as I have read that making half of the payment earlier in the month and the remainder later will pay off your mortgage quicker as you are paying some principle and all interest with each payment. So I go through the process and get it set up. First month was XX/XX/2023 for this to go through. On XX/XX/2023 I get on to my online account and see that they have only been applying payment once a month. Basically, they take the first payment and wait til the second to make an entry which defeats the entire purpose of setting up payments this way. I feel like I am being robbed. Attached is the ledger of transactions that they have posted on my account showing them accepting money but only applying it to the principle and interest once a month.

Consumer Complaint: I made a credit card payment to PNC bank in cash, I called him the next day and asked him why hasnt the payment posted, and they said that it takes up to seven days for a cash payment to reflect on my account with them, to me that is criminal.
