Consumer Complaint: My current loan servicing company, PHH, is refusing to provide me with complete loan documentation that should be on file. PHH took over the mortgage servicing from Ocwen Mortgage services. The complete files should have been forwarded to PHH. I am requesting modification documents from the year XXXX showing that my XX/XX/20 loan was modified into 1 mortgage while with OCWEN. PHH is telling me to forward them documentation of the modification so they can research the issue. If I had this documentation, I would not be requesting it from MY mortgage servicing company. They are basically asking me to do their work. This is pertinent information that should be kept on file, regardless of the time frame it has been and that it the transaction was completed while with the previous servicing company. This is causing me a hardship as I am attempting to complete repairs on my home ( roof and HVAC ). These repairs are essential so that I can obtain reasonable home owners insurance. The agency that is assisting me with financing is requesting documentation that I do not have a 2nd mortgage any longer with OCWEN. I am kindly requesting your assistance in obtaining the proper documentation. Consumer Complaint: PHH Mortgage Company My mortgage was just sold by XXXX XXXX to PHH Mortgage in XX/XX/2023 XX/XX/2023 Sent paperwork via email per procedure listed on their form from their website for Bi-weekly payments. I didn't hear back from them so I called requesting information about 3 weeks later and was told I didn't fill out the paperwork correctly ... no specifics given. XX/XX/2023 Re-sent same paperwork again for bi-weekly payments highlighting applicable section for bi-weekly payments. Called a week later verifying everything was in order. This time I was told my mortgage needed to be paid up a month ahead to start the process for bi-weekly payments. I paid the normal monthly payment via automatic payment on XX/XX/2023. On XX/XX/2023 I paid an additional payment to start the bi-weekly payment. On XX/XX/2023 I talked with XXXX in the XXXX Department ( XXXX XXXX ) and she said she was going to get it taken care of and call me on Wednesday XX/XX/2023 once she could verify that the process was complete. I didn't get a phone call so I called again today, XX/XX/2023. The agent tried telling me that I didn't have the paperwork in and that I needed to be paid up a month in advance. I showed him that I was paid up a month in advance. He said that payment was mis-applied and now it needs to be reclassified and that'll take up to 5 days and when that's done, XXXX will contact me ( like she contacted me before ). Every time I call I get an excuse that something isn't right with the paperwork or the paperwork was misread. Every time I call I'm left with no solution, just a " wait and somebody will get back to you ''. There are two things going on. One, they advertise a bi-weekly payment option, but don't want to do it through a discouraging process. Two, they took an extra payment from me illegally to pay down a loan if they have no intention of fulfilling their end of the process by implementing a bi-weekly payment plan.

Consumer Complaint: PHH Mortgage has repeatedly improperly denied me for a loan modification. I have applied for a loan modification several times and each time I supported my application with financial documentation. On at least three occasions, I was only considered for two programsthe Helping Homeowners Modification, which I am apparently ineligible for because my account is greater than 90 days delinquent, and I was also reviewed for and denied for a streamlined modification even though I submitted financial documentation. It doesnt appear that PHH Mortgage even reviewed any of my income documentation, which shows that I can now afford to continue making payments. I would like to save my home and PHH Mortgage is refusing to work with me. I am submitting the denial letters that I received ( most recently dated XX/XX/2022 and XX/XX/2022 ) which mention that I was only reviewed for those two modification programs and show that PHH Mortgage did not consider my income.
