Consumer Complaint: This is in response to the answer made by Ocwen Loan Services in complaint # XXXX. I know the complaint above is closed. I am waiting until I received a new modification agreement offered by Ocwen be completed. I have attached the response from Ocwen, and I made marks where is easy to notice that the answer no made sense. First, they mention that they have records that they informed Mr. XXXX about the Modification Status and the delay, and else, the mention that they have in records that they informed Mr. XXXX about the XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX payments and Mr. XXXX agree to send those payments when the modification process is finished. They never send to CFPB those records, they sent other records as statements on XX/XX/XXXXand XX/XX/XXXX about the default account but no proof of that communication, because they never communicated that. In XX/XX/XXXX, they told Mr. XXXX < Do not send any payment, the modification hasnt been finishing and we can not accept partial payments> but they keep sending monthly statements showing the {$660000.00} in XX/XX/XXXX, and {$660000.00} in XX/XX/XXXX, on the payment portion, I attached those statements. What anybody can think when you received those statements? They informed me about those payment on XX/XX/XXXX by a phone call telling me the modification was completed, and, in that moment, they ask for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX Payments. Another comment that never was mention was that Mr. XXXX never asks them to waive those payments, what he asks was to move those payments to the end of the loan, and the answer was that they can not do that. Second. They already started the modification with 2-month in default. If the loan goes 90 days behind, I lost the forgiveness amount of {$380000.00}. How convenient was to have the loan 90 days behind after XX/XX/XXXX, date when all Americans should have their tax declaration done ; and Ocwen sent the 1099-C in XX/XX/XXXXfor the total amount of {$380000.00} but only giving me {$120000.00}. Where the difference of {$250000.00} goes? Attached is the 1099-C. Third. Why if they requested a lower payment for XX/XX/XXXX because a deposit of {$400.00} was made in the account and Mr. XXXX call at that moment a let them know that I never made that payment but they told to make the payment requested on the website {$1200.00}, screenshot attached, why when they found that they made a mistake and the {$400.00} wasnt belong to my account they dont allow me to pay the {$400.00} and asks me to make 3 months payments and not partial payments going to be accepted. I can not keep my house with their apologies and sorry for the inconvenience. Thats right there a violation of Dodd-Frank Act. Unfair, Deceptive and Abusive acts. Now I have a loan modified under a similar payment as the first modification, a payment that I can afford but I lost a reduction of {$250000.00} of my debt because their delay and their mistakes, only {$150000.00} of forgiveness amount at the end of the loan modification in XX/XX/XXXX no after the 3er year of the modification like the first offer and increasing the Balloon amount for {$130000.00}. And to complete they sold or transfer my loan to another Servicer XXXX.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report

Subissue: Account status incorrect

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan servicing keeps incorrectly showing my account as being late. They recently transferred my account to PHH, in the process of switching account they reported that I was late in XXXX 2019. This is incorrect as I have paid my mortgage payment on XX/XX/XXXX for the XXXX payment. I tried to dispute this with XXXX, but they keep denying my request even with a copy of my payment history that clearly shows that I am not 30 days and did in fact pay my XX/XX/XXXX2019 payment, and my XXXX and XXXX 2019 payments.

Consumer Complaint: For years I tried to get a modification but Ocwen denied me because I had got hurt at work and was workers compensation. After making me jump through hoops they told me that workers compensation is not a job and isnt considered a job. So I was forced to file bankruptcy. So over the years I have tried to make an agreement to keep my house but every time I attempt to the amount owed is a lot higher than it should be and there is a huge balloon payment involved. This year I was contacted by Ocwen again. I had a very high payment to make for three months again. This is to prove Im serious I guess. But every month I kept getting notices of default and to sell my house in the mail. It seems like theyre doing this to bully me into signing an offer from them that not fair and too high. What can I do?

Issue: Trouble during payment process

Subissue:

Consumer Complaint: Once again, Ocwen Loan has changed its rates for collecting fees and monthly mortgage payments, now raising the fee to {$7.00} for paying online directly from my bank account. This fee was imposed when they transferred my mortgage to another of their companies within their possession. They change over also disrupted all of my payments, records and more so that I no longer have addresses, online contacts and much more. In order to sign up for their 'new ' loan collection, I must submit my social security # and much more to a service in XXXX . Their practices are insuring that I will be late with payments, and have to pay service charges, late fees and additional interest. I can not get any information form them directly and am blocked from my previous account information and history. This continues to be a constant issue with OCWEN - now XXXX - now XXXX. ( Honestly, would you give your SS # to XXXX? ) Impossible to find a contact to help through their myriad of sites, although 'help ' symbols are there, as noted in screenshots below. " The servicing of this mortgage account has been transferred to XXXX XXXX XXXX, now an affiliate of Ocwen. The account number will change to # #. The relationship manager may change and will reach out within 30 days of the account transfer. If you are enrolled in Paperless Statements, your paperless settings will not change. For details and instructions about how to login at XXXX XX/XX/2019, please refer to the Notice of Service Transfer letter or call XXXX. ''

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I applied for a loan modification. Following the tr oak procedure i was told the y would be withholding a mo XXXX 's payment and it could possibly show up as a late payment but it could be explained and fixed. And besides it would go away after 12 months on my credit report. No matter i made the payments anyways received the modification and my credit was fine. When it showed up as a late payment i had Ocwen Mortgage contact the credit bureaus. They fixed it and the payments showed up as current and my payment history was 100 %. In XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX took over my mortgage. When this happened Ocw an closed out my mortgage with showing up a LATE mortgage payment AGAIN for XX/XX/XXXX! This has also happened in XX/XX/XXXX when Ocwen took over our mortgage from XXXX!! This is WRONG and I want it fixed ASAP

Consumer Complaint: My Mortgage Company Ocwen sent me a letter once I came out of bankruptcy about refinancing my outstanding loan of {$160000.00}. In doing this I agreed to make 3 trial payments of {$1500.00}. I agreed signed papers and made 2 payments, before I could make 3rd payment I was advised that my mortgage loan would no longer be serviced by Ocwen but by XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX sent me information showing second payment in suspense and with a balance of over {$250000.00} and payment due of {$2300.00}. I received this notice with less than 15 days to make that payment. Now if I make that payment am I agreeing to the additional {$10000.00} they have added to my account as well as the {$800.00} added to payment? This seems quite outrageous and illegal.

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage is held by Ocwen Loan Servicing. My monthly mortgage payment was {$1700.00} per month. That payment was fine.Over the past 2 years my family income has declined by about 20 %. It was getting harder and harder to make the payments. I requested a loan modification. on XX/XX/2019 Ocwen came back with a payment amount of {$1700.00}. I told them that a {$15.00} decrease in my payment was not going to help me.At the same time my house was damaged by weather. I received a check from the insurance company that needed to be endorsed by Ocwen. They received the check on XX/XX/2019. They still have not paid me any of that money to fix the house. The house is currently uninhabitable due to the weather damage. ( I filled a complaint with CFPB # XXXX ) to force them to give me the insurance money I need to fix the house so that I can move back in. After the modification for {$1700.00} and the fact that I am not able to live in the house I requested another trial modification. On XX/XX/2019 they came back with a new modification payment of {$1700.00}. So the bottom line is 1 ). my income dropped by 20 %. 2 ). After 2 modifications my payment INCREASED by {$7.00}. 3 ). I am unable to live in the house because Ocwen will not Give me the insurance money ( that I paid the premiums on ) to fix the house. I am currently at least 4 months behind on my mortgage as I am forced to pay for other means of housing for my family
