Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan servicing ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX ) provided an inaccurate payoff quote that resulted in an over payment of my mortgage of {$5200.00} on XX/XX/2019. This over payment was placed in a suspense account by Ocwen. Ocwen consolidated all mortgage accounts with PHH Mortgage Services as of XX/XX/19. Since my mortgage has been paid off in full and I have never had an escrow account with Ocwen ( I paid paid all taxes and insurance fees directly ), I should be refunded the amount that Ocwen received as an over payment. I have contacted PHH Mortgage Services by email, phone and letter describing this issue. I have received no response that addresses the return of my money, Return emails only say, " You will receive a response email from one of our Customer Service Representatives within 5-7 business days. My first email to them was on XX/XX/19 and I have yet to receive a " response email. '' Customer Service Representatives ( after I have been on hold for as long as 30 minutes ) claimed to have referred my issue to the, " Escalation Department. ''

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I signed a mortgage agreement with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$54000.00} for my home. Servicing was transferred to Saxon before the first payment was due, and some years later servicing was transferred again to Ocwen Loan Servicing, L.L.C. Since then, there have been two modifications to the original loan. After fourteen years, with additional charges and fees rolled in, I now owe almost {$10000.00} more than the original loan. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a foreclosure summons from XXXX XXXX XXXX. Approximately one month prior, I received notification from Ocwen that the loan had again been transferred to another servicer ; but I have not had any contact with them at all.Even though I owe more than the original loan and the property is appraised at {$49000.00}, it is still my desire to keep my home. I'm XXXX years old, not in the best of health, but still working full-time. We're trying to find help, but have had no success so far. I just want to live out whatever time I have left in peace, but this whole thing has become a convoluted nightmare.

Consumer Complaint: On the XX/XX/2019, Ocwen mortgage provided a mortgage reinstatement quote. At the same time, I received a notification of mortgage loan service to XXXX. Ocwen and XXXX are one in the same company. I contacted XXXX to get a reinstatement notice but told it would take 5 business days. Yet the Ocwen system could immediately provide me with a quote. To prevent additional fees being charged, I bankwired {$18000.00} to Ocwen from XXXX XXXX XXXX. As of this date, I've deal with Offshore call centers who are absolutely clueless and are showing nothing. One would think that a bankwire and the loan status, would get priority when processing a bank wire. I've bank wired funds in the past to Ocwen and they were applied immediately. I'm tired of the run around and the clueless call center employees. I want the funds applied as of the XX/XX/2019 when they were received I've attempted to contact the CEO or the executive response unit. Nothing exists as I suspect they would be inundated with complaints like mine.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I entered into a loan modification. I also was given a consumer protection attorney in my area. The modified amount was {$88000.00}. In XX/XX/XXXX, {$70000.00} of this loan became a debt cancellation but was later renewed as a new loan. Under this premise, a balance of about {$18000.00} was due and owing on the loan. The cancellation placed the fair market value of the home at {$74000.00}. Ex. " A '' On XX/XX/XXXX, the loan servicer sent the attorney a payoff statement where it indicated the principal balance was {$88.00}, XXXX plus {$610.00} in interest, plus escrow of {$280.00} and court fees of {$530.00} for a total of {$89.00}, XXXX. Monthly payments of {$610.00} per month plus interest of 3.75 %. 1. The servicer alleges that the interest amount and the monthly payments are identical. 2. Page 2 gives the interest breakdown for XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. Per diem being approximately {$9.00} per day justifies a {$270.00} interest payment for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and the remainder of {$64.00} due for XX/XX/XXXX, which is an indication that every third month, the interest should be {$64.00} {$270.00} is 44 % of {$610.00} ; {$64.00} is 14 % of {$610.00} and 3.75 % of {$610.00} is {$23.00}. What is the understanding of the interest? Is the interest on the monthly payment or the loan balance. Even if its on the balance, the servicer alleges that {$610.00} is to be divided by 3 months with the third month substantially less than the first two. The second issue is : a total amount of interest is always included in most loans even when the percentage of interest is calculated. Here it's not. The consumer protection attorney who provided the documents that I'm providing you, filed a complaint in federal court and then dismissed the complaint alleging that no issues existed. He accepted a {$5000.00} settlement that he did not explain what it was for with me receiving a final payment of {$1000.00} ; I disagree and filed this complaint. Fraud is an issue here. In XX/XX/XXXX, the servicer states a balance of {$89.00}, XXXX. Each month, from XX/XX/XXXX til XX/XX/XXXX I paid {$650.00} mortgage payment. {$650.00} x 12= {$7800.00}. {$89.00}, XXXX, XXXX= {$81000.00}. XX/XX/XXXX til XX/XX/XXXX, I paid {$650.00} x 8= {$5200.00}. {$81.00}, XXXXXXXX= {$76000.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, PHH Mortgage Services notified me that the servicer has joined with that company. It also advised me that the balance on the account stands at {$86.00}, XXXX. This means that a grand total of {$3200.00} has been applied out of 24 payments.

Consumer Complaint: My Mortgage is with OCWEN which recently has converted to PHH. My loan number is XXXX. About six months ago they increased the rate to 5.625 from 4.875. All the increase in payment went to Interest not principle. After ten years of this loan I am paying {$920.00} in interest and {$540.00} in principle. Before the rate increase the amount of interest and principle were approximately even. This is my complaint. Two things : First I feel they have cheated in the way they applied the extra payment and that now I have almost no principle reduction. Second I requested an amortization schedule and they have refused to provide it.
