Consumer Complaint: Received notice that my case was closed due to me not sending additional info. Case # XXXX This mortgage Company XXXX XXXX XXXX has not brought my account CURRENT. this has been hanging over my head for a year. I want to be able to sell my house and purchase another. I have lost the new home I chose and have missed the prime home sales period. To say nothing about the credit card debt that would have been paid off months ago, if I had been able to sell my home earlier in 2019. This endless dealings with XXXX has cost me so much money. I'm a senior citizen, female, on fixed income and this is draining me so badly. Now I have to wait, yet again, to pay off the debt. TO say nothing about having my home in Pre-Forclosure for a year. So much unnecessary strain and STRESS.

Consumer Complaint: I was a little behind on my mortgage so I went to pay a month online but the system didnt work. It confirmed that I paid but never withdrew. I called PHH mortgage and they said it was a problem with the bank so I called my bank and they never got the request. At this point I was quite behind, but had the amount to get myself up to date. I called and through discussing with them discovered they had my wrong bank so we paid again for the amount of {$3000.00}. It was removed from my account so I assumed it was all set. I then received a foreclosure letter from them along with an attorney letter. I was surprised since as far as I knew I was current on my mortgage. I called them and they said they never received the money. I had my bank conference call to them to inform them it was indeed removed from my account on XX/XX/XXXX. They said they can not locate the money and to call back Monday to see if they had located the money but that they could not end the foreclosure process until those funds were located. I am concerned that This is negatively impacting my credit along with any fees that may come from the foreclosure process. I am also terrified I will lose my home when I have not done anything wrong.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, XXXX XXXX wire transferred funds to PHH Mortgage in direct response to a written pay-off request. Although PHH admits the funds were received as requested, they refused to apply the funds to that portion of PHH that handles current collections. It has now been almost two months since they took our money and they refuse to tell me how or when the problem will be fixed. This has caused us to lose over {$1100.00} a month.

Consumer Complaint: I contacted my mortgage company, ocwen/phh and informed them I was having hard times and was going to miss payment. They said that I couldn't apply for a modification until 3 missed payments. I tried to pay after missing 3 payments ( to keep it from becoming more than 3 ) they wouldn't accept 1 payment, they needed all past due amounts, they then denied my modification for being more than 90 days behind.

Consumer Complaint: I lost my job in XXXX and I applied for assistance with my mortgage company Ocwen and was denied my loan feel behind and I had it reinstated in XX/XX/XXXX of this year. Ocwen was sold to PHH Mortgage and my loan is behind and I called to get a reinstatement quote and was referred to the attorney handling the foreclosure and was told that it was just sent over to them that day this was on XX/XX/2019. I called the attorney 's office and their voice mail said that I neede to email them so I did. I sent them my original email on XX/XX/2019, I got no response so I sent a follow-up email on XX/XX/2019, and finally got a response on XX/XX/2019, saying that they do not have my loan in their office they have a closed file from XX/XX/XXXX of this year. Now when I try to contact PHH thier phone system says due to technical difficulties they can not connect me with customer service. I have not received any paperwork on the forclosure, nor do they seem to want to resolve the issue with me or help me out in any way. I want to get my loan reinstated.

Consumer Complaint: My mother XXXX XXXX past away six years ago after a long battle with XXXX XXXX. Unfortunately she was behind on all of her bills at the time. At the time of her death her first mortgage was in foreclosure. After she past I ( XXXX XXXX ) was able to get the mortgage reinstated with XXXX XXXX. About after two years of the mortgage being reinstated, I tried to refinance the home and this is where the trouble started. At this time I was notified that Ocwen Loans had a lean on the home in my mother ( XXXX XXXX ) name. I contacted Ocwen and was unable to reach anyone that had the authority to help me reinstate the mortgage or that spoke English. At some point a law office contacted me with foreclosure paperwork. I spoke with a manager in the law office and expressed my willingness to work with them to resolve the issue. Please note that at this point I never even questioned the validity of the debt. She informed me she would contact Ocwen and get back to me. About a month went by without hearing from the law office. I then started trying to contact the manager from the law office. About a moth or so went by when I was finally able to find out that they no longer were representing Ocwen. The same cycle started all over again with Ocwen until one day I found foreclosure paperwork taped to my front door. I then stared trying to work with Mr XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX to resolve the issue with Ocwen loans. At this point I informed Mr XXXX that I could give Ocwen {$500.00} to reinstate the loan. Mr XXXX informed me that Ocwen said no to reinstating the loan. Over about the next two years we went back and forth to court as this loan went from {$23000.00} to over {$45000.00} as we continued to fill out paperwork to reinstate the loan. Only to be told we didnt submit something to to resubmit all of the paperwork all over again and again. At one point they said I had not submitted the death certificate for my mother and rejected the paperwork and told us to resubmit again. Now this is important because they would not have been allowed to talk to me by law about my mothers loan if they had not had the death certificate already. On or about XXXX XXXX XXXX Ocwen made an offer of reinstatement and assigned me a relationship manager and gave me a phone number and an email to contact her at if I had any questions. I tried over and over again to contact this person with no results. In late XXXX we were in court when I talked to Mr XXXX and explained some of my concerns and that I wanted to except the offer but had some questions and Id feel better if I could talk to someone at Ocwen! Mr XXXX stated that he had just talked to his clients rep on the phone and that the offer was still good but that I needed to except it that day. He gave me another number to call. So we set up another date for court and we went home. On my way home I called the number that Mr XXXX gave me. I got a rep on the phone only to be told that the loan had reached maturity in XXXX of XXXX and it was not eligible to be reinstated. I then made a bunch more calls to Ocwens relationship manager until finally getting a call back from her. She was as rude as could be refused to say give me any information other then that their company would not reinstate the loan and demanded payment in full.
