Consumer Complaint: Called PHH on XX/XX/XXXX confirming receipt of my new homeowners insurance policy that took effect on XX/XX/XXXX. They confirm it has been received and that the new policy purchased by PHH was canceled and that I do not owe them any additional money besides my monthly mortgage. Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from PHH stating I owe them {$1300.00} for an escrow account. I have not sure what games they are playing but I do not owe PHH anything extra beyond the monthly mortgage.

Consumer Complaint: I requested that the funds in the prepaid principal fund be transferred to my monthly payment however, PHH responded that this had already been done and it had but that was a different amount and at a separate time. We had been in the HAF program and who paid additional funds that were suppose to be applied to our monthly payment but PHH but it in unapplied funds and also some of it to the prepaid principal. The current amount showing on our account in prepaid principal funds is {$680.00} as seen in the attached document. PHH has said that they do not see this on their end however, why and how is showing on our online account. I'm just asking these funds be moved to our monthly payment for XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Dear CFPB, In XXXX my loan was modified and {$85000.00} was deferred and subsequent correspondence with Ocwen Mortgage indicated it could be forgiven. In XXXX Ocwen told me it would not be forgiven and would only be deferred interest free for the life of the loan. FNMA & FHLMC loans at the time forgave the deferred amount. Accept the modification as written or they would foreclose. We made decisions based on the intimidation and subsequently on XXXX servicing mistake, stating in writing it could be forgiven. We made financial decisions based on XXXX servicing lie or mistake. That information is in my previous claim. This inquiry is, would this {$85000.00} qualify for reimbursement under the " Rosenthal Act '' cash settlement with Ocwen and PHH for servicing practices? Would the {$85000.00} qualify to be paid off from those funds? Thank you

XXXX stated there was a small balance. And refused to listen to what I previously stated... there is no balance bank settled, speak to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. He claimed he was going to check with the bank. I don't believed it since i have stated this now 5 times, but they continue to call. Consumer Complaint: I had a XXXX XXXX and ended up having XXXX. I had to move out of my home and into a XXXX home. I was unable to pay the mortgage company and so they started foreclosure proceedings. I obtained a real estate agent who, after showing the house over 40 times was finally able to find a buyer for my house, I notified the mortgage company and they told me that I would have to pay to have an appraisal of the property done which I did. They then told me I would have to provide them with a cost to cure with a list of areas that need repairs in the approximate cost of those repairs, I provided that to them as well. Every time I would call them to check on the progress of the requested short sale and acceptance from them they put me off they kept saying they needed more time call back in two days. Call back in two days this went on for over three months now the appraisal which I paid {$600.00} for has expired and they are telling me Im going to have to pay for another appraisal, because they have not yet made a decision. They told me the rationale for that was because they did not get the cost to cure document before the appraisal expired. However, I have proof that I sent that cost to cure to this company seven times before the date the appraisal expired, I dont know what else to do. Im afraid my buyer is going to walk away can you please help me?

Consumer Complaint: New REZ lack the necessary legal documentation, specifically a deed, and have not properly filed a satisfaction of mortgage with the city after acquisition of the loan yet they are charging me a mortgage and file negatively on my credit report. Consequently, this has led to the erroneous inclusion of various liens on my credit report and several leans on the property making it impossible for me to ever sell the property because the last XXXX mortgage satisfactions were not turned in.
