Consumer Complaint: Nelnet is my federal student loan holder. I contacted them in the fall of 2020 for info on the pause of student loan payments and interest. They gaslight me and keep telling me my loans aren't federal. I've had to pay on my loans without any pause. I can prove they are Federal loans. They continued to insist they aren't federal. I have been on XXXX. for almost 9 years solid. XXXX. is only available to federal loans. I feel that if I have consequences of missing payments ( which I have not ) they should have consequences of lying to me and forcing me to make payments.

I requested the original instrument of indebtness and a certified statement confirming and affirming that the original note had not been sold. If they cant provide the document, it must be discharged.

Consumer Complaint: This letter is to inform you that I am disputing your companys references on my credit report because of the lack of completeness and/or accuracy. I recently disputed this account with the credit reporting bureaus, and the information was reported as verified and accurate. After that I sent you the attached letter and I never got a sufficient response. Unfortunately, credit bureaus often use software that does not complete thorough investigations.I am disputing the following information directly with you, the furnisher of information, and I am requesting that you send me all papework you have on this account so i can review the accuracy of your reporting. You are a financial institution identified in 15 U.S. Code 1681a ( t ) Financial Institution.The term financial institution means a State or National bank, a State or Federal savings and loan association, a mutual savings bank, a State or Federal credit union, or any other person that, directly or indirectly, holds a transaction account ( as defined in section 461 ( b ) of title 12 ) belonging to a consumer. For the record I do know and understand by law, who you are and who I am. 1. I would like to see your GAAP ( general acceptance accountability principles ) which is your paper trail from where/when it came directly from your account. 2. I also want to know who is the original creditor? 3. Consumer Complaint: The cares act has been in continuous effect since XX/XX/XXXX. Nelnet ... servicer of my govt studend loans has twice ( x5 loans =10 neg reports ) reported negative pay status of 120 days. Federal student loan payments are scheduled to restart beginning in 60 days.. President Joe Biden extended temporary student loan relief through XX/XX/XXXX, which was his third extension. this makes a total of five ... more imoptantly... why do i have the the servicer of federal loans reporting negative status during this timeframe? i have disputed this twice now... i still have negative reports. the cares act has been in continuous effect since XX/XX/XXXX and currently runs through XX/XX/XXXX ... No negative status reporting during student loan relief... Nelnet is wrong to do so...... TWICE... why is this so hard to understand? Why are they ruining my credit?
