Consumer Complaint: The struggle continues with my situation. I am frustrated as how you can offer XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX forgiveness if you base this grant on SSD guidelines as you clearly do not understand when this benefits ends due to reaching full social security age vs. having a 5 to 6 year review. Not all recipients of SSD have a review of benefits as they reach full social security age and flip to those benefits. Perhaps if I had been diagnosed earlier than within 12 months of my full retirement age, I would have been given a review date. However based on my diagnosis which is an automatic grant of SSD benefits I doubt that I would have been placed on a review. I have continued to contact them- they offer a benefit they do not understant.

I don't understand why they left some of those on my credit report. Unless those loans don't belong to me... or maybe got the wrong birthdate or wrong Social Security Number. I told them to give me some validation and show me if this belong to me... but they didn't respond to me or chose not to mail me any validation or proof that these belong to me.

The account number, date opened, payment terms, date last reported, date of last activity, date of last payment, and payment history are different across both credit bureaus. I have written the credit bureaus in XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and the beginning of XX/XX/2022 requesting the account be reported correctly on my credit report or deleted. I have not received a response from the credit bureaus. My loans have been transferred to the Department of Education. The balance may be accurate, although I believed it to be lower, the problem lies with the verification, none of my payment history transferred over, my wife 's loans were transferred to a new provider and her complete payment history is available, the same is true for some of my other friends. This feels deceitful and predatory, it feels like they're hiding information from me for a reason I can only assume benefits them and costs me. How am I supposed to know the balance is correct? Shouldn't a complete payment history be included in the transfer to the new loan servicer?

Consumer Complaint: DEP OF ED/NELNET is unlawfully reporting late payments to my consumer report. Ive never made any late payments to NELNET nor has NELNET provided me with documentation validating this information. They are also in violation of my consumer rights by reporting this information even if it were factual! I as the consumer own my consumer report and The DEP OF ED/NELNET has failed to comply with the law pursuant to 15 USC 1681b ( 2 ). 15 USC 1681a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) clearly states my consumer report should not include transactions between the consumer ( me ) and the person ( the financial institute ) making the report. DEP OF ED/NELNET is in violation of my privacy pursuant to 15 USC 1681a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( iii ). AGAIN I NEVER GAVE MY CONSENT TO REPORT MY INFORMATION!!! By reporting DEP OF ED/NELNET is in violation of the laws made by Congress. Pursuant to 15 USC 1681a ( B ) any authorization of a specific extension of credit or similar device should be excluded from my consumer report. The transactions that DEP OF ED/NELNET is reporting clearly are categorized as transactions that were issued from a credit card ( my social security card ) as defined under 15 USC 1602 ( l ). This is a violation of my privacy! DEP OF ED/NELNET is liable to me for all damages due to their willful noncompliance pursuant 15 USC 1681n .

When they finally got the information transferred they had the initial total correct as {$20000.00}. After XXXX and XXXX payments I should have a total of {$19000.00} remaining balance upon transfer at Nelnet. My total however is {$19000.00}. I think this is going to continue to happen as its hard to get things fixed there.
