Consumer Complaint: I was told by XXXX XXXX when my XXXX XXXX was going to school that I would have to apply for a XXXX XXXX loan and be denied in order for them to increase my child 's loan amounts. I applied and they approved it for XXXX semester. My XXXX is no longer in school and now they are saying that I owe over $ XXXX. They were also getting XXXX XXXX loans at the time. I am on XXXX and my credit is terrible from tons of medical bills. This loan never should have been approved and I do not believe the amount is correct, it is definitely fraudulent predatory lending.

Consumer Complaint: I was looking through my Great Lakes account and noticed a balance in which this collection agency is offering payment options on a balance of {$26000.00} which is in a positive balance. So I do not have to pay anything in a positive balance which is in pursuant to 15usc 1692e ( 2 ) ( A ) ( B ) false and misleading representation The false representation of the character, amount, or legal status of any debt ; or any services rendered or compensation which may be lawfully received by any debt collector for the collection of a debt. Please refer to the attached to the file of my Great Lakes account of evidence of false of misleading. I want the balance to be XXXX out as this is destroying my livelihood. If my bank checking account is positive, it means I am in possession to spend this balance If the balance is negative then that would mean I owe the balance. So with this Great Lakes account if the balance is negative then I would have to owe this debt. If I were to pay on this balance it means I am voluntarily paying for something that is not originally owed. I want the balance to be XXXX for I am not obligated to pay for this positive balance. I then sent in dispute letters requesting how the late payments were verified and received no response. Each bureau is reporting a 90 day late payment for XX/XX/XXXX on all XXXX of my nelnet accounts and I was never late. Each bureau is also reporting multiple late payments for my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX accounts. XXXX is showing a 60 day late payment for XX/XX/XXXX while XXXX and XXXX shows the payment was on-time and not late. In XXXX with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, everything has to be 100 % accurate on my credit report. These accounts are in violation of not reporting 100 % accurate.

This same loan was also included in a XXXX XXXX XXXX. The Attorney that handled the case stated the Student Loan was included in the XXXX. The Lender was made aware of this and acknowledged the XXXX. The Lender still insisted that the loan must restart again with interest for 3 more years and/or XXXX XXXX. This is the 3rd time this loan has restarted with interest.
