Issue: Closing on a mortgage
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2021 to current date I started the loan process of applying for a mortgage to to purchase a new primary residence. My loan officer XXXX XXXX had all my information regarding that i work in ny and live in Maryland. I was able to purchasemy first home in XXXX with no issues with navy Federal working in ny and traveling back to Maryland for more than 3 years. Now its a issue with me buying a new primary residence. I had to submit documents and hand written letters from my mother stating i only visit ny when im working. XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX bamboozle me to get stuck with a higher interest and down payment. I already lost a {$1000.00} for the emd and wont get that back. Navy Federal has all my information and they chose to ignore it. All three individuals have my personal information from the previous loan. Nobody communicated between themselves. The underwriters intentionally denied the process and charge me fees and made me go through a process that a XXXX person would never have to go through since im XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Navy federal credit union stated I owed them money for 3 debts, which in their own words these are debts that I still owe them money on. Since Navy federal credit union is stating I owe them money for these debts ACCOUNT # 'S XXXX. I am asking for documents to prove I'm obligated to pay this debt.An account ledger that shows I have an obligation for this alleged debt. I would like to see Navy federal 's records of accounting/their ledger for these 3 accounts, an established credit card account ending in XXXX on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ; a used vehicle loan account ending in XXXX on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ; and a personal expense loan account ending in XXXX on XXXX XXXX XXXXIf navy federal cant provide me their ledgers which should show I owe them money they should remove these inaccurate debts from my consumers report immediately. A BANKING LEDGER/ OR GAAP LEDGER ON THESE ACCOUNTS would show that I owe them money for these alleged debt please produce them and I will have no problem paying on this debt. They've reported inaccurate accounts on my consumer reports for 6 plus years while never suppling any information to show how I am obligated to pay on these debts.

Consumer Complaint: I received a Navy Federal rewards card from NFCU back in 2021 I was using the card while I was staying at the XXXX XXXX XXXX by XXXX I received unauthorized charges on my credit card from the XXXX XXXX after I told them not to charge my credit card so I called my NFCU about the situation and has I was talking to customer service on the phone the hotel charged to again so the customer service representative was looking at my account and told me they was attempting to charge it again I said to her stop can you stop them she said no I said why not she said we can't stop authorization a said what do you mean she began to explain that they have a contract with the credit card processing companies such as XXXX where as any authorized charges have to be paid no matter what and the merchant as up to 6 months to settle I said to her that's not right because the merchant can keep charging your credit card for what ever amount that will authorize on top of the if the merchant don't collect the funds right away then after 5 days the funds go right back on the credit card as available credit then the merchant can authorize it again and again after every 5 days then she yeah unfortunately we can do anything about it the only thing we can do is shut down that credit card and send you out another one then I said what about those charges she will you would have to pay them they Then I told her that wasn't right because your bank is in valuation of the truth in lending law 's because what you just told me is not anywhere on the contract I signed when I received the credit card she said no it is not that information is not provided no where on the contract then I said so how can you charge someone for these charges she said nothing. I think it's unfair and predator for this bank or any bank to do these types of practices and I don't think I should be liable for these charges. The card balance was {$5000.00} and I was charged over {$7000.00} in unauthorized charges due to this banking problem that violates the truth in-lending law.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 Navy federal transferred {$1800.00} from my savings account to another savings account within the same institution. Navy federal advised that they were able to make the transaction since I am a joint owner to the account in which they transfer my money to. I was made a joint owner by navy federal bc this is what they require when you open and account. They did not give me any prior notice to transferring money from my savings account to this other account. I'm in the middle of a housing transaction in the middle of purchasing a home!!!!! and this transaction can cause me to lose my financing. They transfer the money from my account because the other account was overdrafted due to fraud even though the transactions have already been disputed and reported. They should not have taken money from my account!! My account is not connected to this other account. Please put my money back!!
