Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I was sent {$350.00} via XXXX from a friend. I sent the {$350.00} right back because my friend was trying to pay themselves so that they could pay for utilities. The {$350.00} went to the same account they sent from. So they fixed the account information and sent me the {$350.00} again. So everything was an eye for an eye. My friends {$350.00} was utilized as they wanted. My money was never involved and it was never my {$350.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, a dispute was made on the account. The dispute charged me twice for {$350.00}. The total withdrawal was {$700.00}! I tried to contact XXXX to tell them what happened and they couldnt help me. I contacted my bank and they couldnt help me. I contacted my friend because she shares an account with her domestic partner. The domestic partner was the one who made the dispute as they were having domestic troubles. I contact the bank of the domestic partner and they could not help since I do not have an account with them. I just lost {$700.00} and my friend was still able to use her initial {$350.00} to pay for utilities.

Consumer Complaint: I was put on a program to help pay my mortgage in 2020 during the pandemic. My first payment was to start in XXXX I believe however XXXX XXXX stopped all payments and for closing. When my payment wasnt made they kept calling me. I kept tell them that XXXX XXXX stopped all payments but the kept calling and I talked to lost mitigation i was told they knew nothing about that and i need to pay. They kept sending me letters. When I started talking to the mortgage department they were saying it was an error and disregard in must be a mistake but it kept happening. Then it stopped after a few weeks. The a check was supposed to be given to me from my housing insurance but they said no because i was in foreclosure. Im like im on a program then the called lost mitigation and they told them I was on a XXXX XXXX program. I knew nothing about that and didnt sign any papers daying that. I called XXXX and the explained it to me. They said not to worry navy fed could not take me iff without my permission and they will keep in contact with me. I didnt trust that so I keep calling to make sure things were good. In XXXX i got a letter from the lawyer saying they were going to start foreclosure. Im lost I thought i was on XXXX XXXX program. I went to navy fed to find out and was told they send paperwork to me many times with no response. I told them they didnt send me anything. They said itwas sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX SC well i live at the property address and i got nothing. My name us in the mortgage also so i should have gotten everything they sent to him. He doesnt even live there anymore so no one got the paperwork. They told me it was there mistake and it would be taken care of. Then I started getting letters to {$1000.00} a month. I said if u put me on a program because I couldnt pay {$940.00} how was i to pay that. And i had a court date. They said if i send in the new paperwork dont worry about the court date. I sent in the paperwork. 2 months later it started all over again they lawyer now had a sell date. Im calling again the paperwork I sent expired. No one told me. I went to the clerk of courts and was told what was going on and I shouldve told the judge about the paperwork but i was told there wasnt a court date anymore so I didnt go. I had to file bankruptcy to save my house. I gave to pay {$2500.00}. A month to save my house. Please tell me what i did wrong to get put in this position, they kept call about that payment even after they told me not to pay. I was told it was the collection department do why didnt they know i was told not to pay. I found out in XXXX but the last statement i got was XXXX to XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: onXX/XX/2023, i noticed XXXX transactions for a total of {$1700.00} dollars total i notified XXXXXXXX and the account was opened in new jersey with my personal information and my debit card and credit card was stolen. a incorrect email thats not mine ( XXXX ) which XXXX confirmed the account was already suspended due to suspicious activity, i told them i didnt want the account suspended but deleted they agreed to do so. I got in contact with navy federal credit union, on XX/XX/XXXX and reported it as fraud a to the bank the bank came back and said that there was no error in anything but yet the cards were stolen so XXXX XXXX theres not going to be a error when the person has your cards in person. i appealed the decision and they came back so i called the number as on the letter got a supervisor and she accused me of being a crook but yet wouldnt provide the evidence against me as theyre not required too and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX will not refund it because the banks been made aware, and the bank is saying XXXX is liable as they were made aware of the fraud. XXXX and the bank are both XXXX XXXX and ive made both aware of legal action for the negligence of the protection, XXXX shouldve blocked the transaction as it was XXXX deposited in 5 transaction in less than 30 minutes.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX, the Branch manager at the Navy Federal XXXX location seems to be retaliating against me because I attempted to file a complaint against her and her branch for the horrible service I received on XX/XX/. ( My complaint seems to have been sent to XXXX and not her supervisor ) Whenever there is a name change concern, the primary document needed is the Court issued name change form. XXXX is refusing to accept my court document stating that it would only verify a last name change and not a first name change. The Court ordered name change document verifies the FULL old name and the FULL new name. By refusing to accept this court document and leaving notes on my account under these inaccurate pretenses this restricts other Navy Federal locations from assisting me. XXXX has stated that the Treasury Direct guideline for branches to cash matured bonds with a name change concern is to be mailed in to be updated/reissued and that is also incorrect. Treasury Direct only requires the names verified at the branch and the old and new name be signed on the back at surrender. XXXX has also claimed that it is Navy Federal guidelines to only cash 3 savings bonds for the life of a customer 's account which is also incorrect. It just seems as though XXXX has taken every measure to assure that I am practically blacklisted from being serviced with cashing my savings bonds.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I applied to refinance my home through the Navy Federal Credit Union. Despite submitting all necessary forms and documents before my Notice of Incompleteness Date ( NOI ), the loan officer requested a remote work letter from my employer to complete the loan approval process, which I found strange since my income and employment had already been verified. Surprisingly, the loan approval was contingent upon providing this remote work letter. A few days later, I discovered that my account had been removed from their website, prompting me to contact the loan officer, who informed me that she was unavailable, but my loan was in process. Concerned, I contacted customer service and was informed that my application had been declined due to the failure to produce a remote work letter. I applied for a new loan and submitted an appeal to use the previous loan 's interest rate. However, I am still waiting for an official response to my appeal and an explanation for why my initial application was denied.

I contacted and provided back up information to XXXX XXXX who was XXXX of about XXXX credit companies where she took out loans without my permission. XXXX XXXX has done a XXXX for the loan of {$29000.00} which they sent to IRS. I have asked them if they would rescind the amount reported to IRS as it is increasing my income and I have to pay taxes on it. They have refused to assist me. I am in a dilemna as I can not refinance my home as my credit scores are low and I show owing debt that I do not have. I have paid a credit company {$2000.00} to fix my problem and for past XXXX years they are not responding to my calls or email.. I am now on XXXX and if I had been able to refinance my home loan in 2021 I would be able to pay my mortgage at the lower rate.
