Consumer Complaint: started a modification on loan 15 months ago they keep putting it off finding excusses why its not going thru. not putting my payments towards mortgage, reporting to credit iam not paying, now sending back my payments, company is nationstar loan number XXXX have been working with XXXX XXXX XXXX for 8 months now and she says she cant figure out whats going on they wont give her a answer, i have reported them to IRS, FHA, AND complaint department and called att, generals office and local news company, iam a XXXX XXXX with XXXX county, everytime I get all paper work done they say either the notary stamp isn't right or they find something else wrong then cancel again, I just want it done so I can get rid of them, now they say they are going to foreclose on me even though I have made all payments and they are holding XXXX dollars of my money, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX mass XXXX email at XXXX XXXX

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I engaged XXXX to dispute on my behalf, the reporting of incorrect information of a short sale by Nationstar on my 3 credit reports. All 3 reports contain incorrect information regarding the dates of when the mortgage was opened ( some say XX/XX/XXXX, some say XX/XX/XXXX ) and dates closed as well ( some say XX/XX/XXXX, some XX/XX/XXXX ) in addition to various other incorrect listings. They went through the first round of disputes starting in XX/XX/XXXX and gave the agencies 45 days to verify. Nothing changed. We then went through a second round of disputes beginning in XX/XX/XXXX and nothing was changed. In XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX produced validation demands to Nationstar to send me the signed contracts, statements and detailed billing that was used to report the information to the credit agencies. They have failed to do so. They were then sent a non-compliance notification in XX/XX/XXXX and no response was received. Now, according to the Fair Credit Billing Act, this information should legally be removed entirely from my credit reports as some are incorrect and they have failed to send any supporting documentation.

Consumer Complaint: Due to the change in US tax law, I has requested that Mr. Cooper paid the 2nd installment of property taxes from my escrow account prior to year end XX/XX/2017. I was informed by customer service rep that Mr. Cooper would be paying those taxes for all CA residents. When it was apparent I was lied to by Mr. Cooper reps I went ahead and paid those taxes directly. I was given instructions to email a copy of the paid taxes and a brief note requested a reimbursement, which I did the first week of XX/XX/XXXX. After more than a half dozen calls to the customer service department, which has absolutely no idea what they are doing and simply resort to lies to appease the customer, they can not tell me when I will receive the reimbursement from my escrow account. I have talked to multiple reps and supervisors including more recently, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX in Texas.They have been useless and unequipped to resolve a very simple matter. Mr. Cooper needs to reimburse me {$3600.00} from my escrow account.

Consumer Complaint: I was a day away from closing escrow, when my realtor alerted me that some company by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has placed a possibly fraudulent assignment on the title of my house at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX ca XXXX, on or around XX/XX/2017 right around the time that my current lender re -branded itself as MRCooper because of several pending lawsuits against them. It has been over a week that I have been trying to find answers from Mrcooper to try to remedy the cloud on my title and they keep on giving me the run around! I found out that Nationstar might have gotten a hold of my subprime mortgage from a know predatory lender ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) as a part of an illegal loan modification performed by the now jailed attorney doing business in XXXX and XXXX ca DBA XXXX XXXX XXXX.I urge you to investigate this matter further as I will for sure be loosing my buyer! Consumer Complaint: Have 3 complaints.1. I was behind on my mortgage so I called on XX/XX/XXXX for a restatement amount. I was told that the reinstatement amount had to be requested from the foreclosure attorney and it would take 4 days to receive an answer. I waited until XX/XX/XXXX and called Nationstar/Mr. Cooper back their representative told me the new reinstatement amount was not ready due to The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Holiday and for me to call back the next day. I called back on XX/XX/XXXX and their representative told me my reinstatement amount was {$10000.00}. I immediately wired the amount I was told. I called back on XX/XX/XXXX and confirmed Nationstar/Mr. Cooper had received payment and confirmed for the second time my mortgage was paid until XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from the automated system that my mortgage was due. On Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to another representative who told me that she would have a manager call me back after they reviewed the two previous calls on Monday XX/XX/XXXX. After not getting a callback ; I called again on Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX a third representative confirmed that I was paid through XX/XX/XXXX. I asked to speak to a manager and request a confirmation letter that I was paid through XX/XX/XXXX. He asked if he could call me back in hour and half a week ago. Today is XX/XX/XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: We received a letter from the XXXX XXXX County Assessor 's Office ( property tax collector ) stating that our ( escrowed ) property taxes have not been paid. When I called the mortgage company office to find out what happened, i found out that someoen there had changed the property address in their system to XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX sometime in XX/XX/2017 without any notification to me and without my authorization. As a result, the proeprty tax that should have been sent to XXXX XXXX County on befalf of the property at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX was instead incorrectly sent to XXXX County for XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX, which is our billing address ( NOT the property address ). We were with XXXX before the mortgage was sold, and the property address has always bene XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX. We sent all the relevant information to the mortgage company and asked them to correct the mistake, pay the appropriate taxes to XXXX XXXX County, and recall back the incorrect payment that was sent to XXXX County. They have done nothing to help us resolve their mistake.

Consumer Complaint: I requested a reduction in my mortgage interest rate about two years ago as I was paying and still paying 6.875 %. My mortgage was initially with XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. The mortgage was switched to Nationstar around XX/XX/XXXX. This was done without my agreement. I have tried on several occasions to re finance my mortgage to a lower rate. In addition I have been invited by Nationstar to contact them regarding refinancing. On each occasion my request was rejected on the grounds that I did not possess a SSN. In addition I was prevented from gaining access to my account as I did not have a SSN. I reported the problem to a number of SSN on line managers and on each occasion I was told that new restrictions in the law prevented them from assisting me. I have tried to get accesss to their senior management and to no avail. I understand this company is a debt collector and as I have never faltered on my payments to XXXX initially nor to Nationstar as I have sufficient earnings to pay my monthly sum. I am at a loss as to why I do not have a right to gaining a lower rate. My credit ration is excellent and I have sufficient liquidity in the mortgaged condo to ensure I offer no risk to my creditors. In addition Please can you assist me.

Consumer Complaint: We were notified that our escrow increased by {$71.00} per month when our insurance was reduced and our taxes showed only a {$20.00} per year increase. I called Mr. Cooper twice and yesterday was placed on hold for more than 40 minutes and they did not provide a reasonable answer. Our original mortgage holder was XXXX and in XX/XX/ were notified that our mortgage was sold to Nationstar and they quickly changed their name to Mr. Cooper. XXXX sent us the annual Escrow Account Discloser Statement in XX/XX/XXXX and they showed a escrow surplus of {$46.00}. Mr. Cooper claimed that they mailed us a XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX but we never received it. I asked why we were being charged the extra {$71.00} per month and they could not give me an answer. They told me they needed to place me on hold while checking and they never came back to the phone. The escrow specialist [ XXXX ] told me that she was located in Texas and I told her several times that she was very hard to understand. She continued to apologize but did not provide a reasonable answer. She then placed me on hold and never returned. Finally I was forced to hang up when the battery on my phone signaled low. Consumer Complaint: ***PLEASE NOTE ... MR COOPER IS NATIONSTAR*** Nationstar has committed and confirmed loan origination fraud, escrow fraud, embezzlement, misappropriation of funds, and they have confirmed these criminal acts in writing. Most recently, Nationstar stole 2 different house payments and applied them to fraudulent fees they added onto my account illegally. With the CFPB copied, I want you to reply by just writing " confirm '' next to every line below ... and I will move to the Attorney Generals, Texas licensing, etc. This is simply a confirmation of what you put in writing previously. # 1 ) Nationstar approves of loan origination fraud # 2 ) Nationstar approves of misleading information sent via U.S. mail. # 3 ) Nationstar approves of wire fraud, specifically telling a consumer they are applying payments towards a loan while stealing them without their knowledge. # 4 ) Nationstar, when caught in the criminal acts of wire fraud, has committed fraud by pretending they can not retrieve the tapes I have requested even though they will have a rep, time and date stamp of the payment and a digital file they can easily access if they wanted to. # 5 ) Nationstar has no obligation to follow state laws, federal laws or consumer laws # 6 ) Nationstar is allowed to make up multiple lies and change stories as they commit crimes to shield itself from prosecution.. # 7 ) Nationstar stated that Florida made a new law for wind insurance and it was added because of this new law. # 8 ) Nationstar stated that no wrongdoing occurred even though the entire loan packet is fraudulent. # 9 ) Nationstar engages in computer and wire fraud daily as part of normal business and has no intention of stopping it, # 10 ) Nationstar uses escrow fraud to pad the bottom line as a standard operating procedure. I paid the full amount due on my escrow shortage and immediately got a second request for another escrow shortage ... even though I just paid the full amount requested by Nationstar. Please confirm that you have intentionally defrauded the consumer in a systematic attempt to create a fictional foreclosure crisis to feed the rest of your system. # 12 ) Nationstar 's Title Company ( XXXX XXXX ) confirmed in writing that you never owned XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX Florida but you did sell it for profit and defraud the insurance industry by collecting the mortgage insurance. Please confirm that you routinely steal homes and sell them without proper paperwork. Also ... this is my 10th request ... I want DIRECT CONTACT INFORMATION for NATIONSTAR 'S ATTORNEYS ... TO HAVE THEM DISBARRED ... The attorneys have been hiding after committing crimes and your company is now hiding them from me. If these attorneys are so brilliant and everything is legal ... they should have no problem handling the attempts to end their careers in criminal fraud, money laundering and criminal conversion.
