Consumer Complaint: I called Mr. Cooper in late XX/XX/XXXX to request a 2 month deferred payment arrangement as I had missed XXXX and XXXX payment due dates. I was told I was approved for the deferment and made a payment on XX/XX/XXXX. The bank cancelled the deferment and is now telling me that the customer service representative asked if I was able to make a payment this month and since i XXXX have responded affirmatively that I was in default of the terms of deferment. This is not fair as we had been discussing a 2 month deferment which means I would not of had to make a payment until XXXX, which is when I did. The Mr. Cooper representative should not have asked if I could make a payment in XXXX when I was requesting a 2 month deferment.

Consumer Complaint: To Stop collecting PMI 1. I purchased a house in XX/XX/XXXX with 10 % down payment. 2. The appraisal value was $ XXXX and the selling price was {$150000.00} 3. The Original Amortization Schedule shows as soon as the property reaches 78 % LTV or on XX/XX/XXXX the PMI of {$77.00} should be automaticall terminated as per Home Owner 's Protection Act. 4. Nationstar mortgage now Mr. Cooper says that it will terminate automatically my PMI on XX/XX/XXXX. 5. Honble ' Court has given a ruling in similar case of PMI removal that original terms and conditions of the purchase stands good even in case the loan being modified. No appraisal or BPO is required to remove PMI under Automatic Termination Clause. 6. Now, when I approached Mr. Cooper they say that in XX/XX/XXXX only they will remove the PMI though my 78 % of the LTV reached in XX/XX/XXXX and currently at 70.07 % LTV. 7. Mr. Cooper and before that Nationstar mortgage can only remove the PMI after reaching 78 % automatically and can not re-calculate the PMI and keep charging me {$22.00} a month. 8. I dont know under which provision in Home Owner 's Protection Act they can re-calculate after 10 years and charge me {$22.00} PMI every month 9. Nationstar Mortgage should have stopped collecting PMI of {$77.00} as soon as my loan reached under 78 % which is XX/XX/XXXX or atleast should have stopped collecting PMI as per original amortization schedule which is XX/XX/XXXX. 10. In their wesite they say that my equity on the loan is $ XXXX and sending solicitations that I can refinance and take cash equity out and they can do re-finance without appraisal also.

Consumer Complaint: As many did, I made a direct property tax payment to my local jurisdiction ( DC ). I sent a QWR to Nationstar/Mr. Cooper indicating the size of the payment ( {$6100.00} ) and with a confirmation from DC ( attached to this complaint ). I requested that they perform an escrow analysis and revise the amount due to comply with RESPA. They did perform an escrow analysis but failed to account for this {$6100.00} payment. Therefore the amount they propose to collect will substantially exceed the maximum they are allowed to hold in reserve.

Consumer Complaint: My Mortgage company, Mr. Cooper, keeps adding junk fees to my account. Lately they have been labeling these fees as inspection fees. My mortgage is not behind, it has been paid timely and is usually a month or two ahead. I now have {$1100.00} in fees and no one at the mortgage company can explain to me, why these fees are being added to my account. I have written letters and sent emails, but I never get a response and the fees keep adding up.

Consumer Complaint: I have tried unsuccessfully several times to get my mortgage loan company to remove the monthly insurance premium ( MIP ). My FHA loan was initiated before 2013 and been in effect over 5 years. I have a loan balance that is less than 78 % of the original and only appraisal value. The company, Mr Cooper ( nationstar ) has an incorrect appraisal value in their file and refuses to accept the only appraisal ever done. I want the MIP billing to stop and a refund made for the months where the MIP should have stopped. Original home appraisal = {$150000.00} current balance = {$110000.00} loan to appraisal = 77 %

Consumer Complaint: I have been struggling with Mr. Cooper Mortgage company for 2 consecutive years. In the year of 2017 I paid the Property tax and home insurance, and sent proof of payment to Mr. Cooper of such payments. They tried to charge me for property taxes and home insurance claiming that i had not payed and that they had to pay for my home 's property taxes and insurance. The issue was not resolved until I submitted a claim with consumer affairs and they where able send Mr. Cooper the proof of payment I had previously sent them in order to stop Mr. Cooper from trying to raise my monthly mortgage payment to pay Mr. Cooper 's Property tax and insurance charge. Beginning in XX/XX/2017, Mr. Cooper has began to charge me for Property Taxes and Insurance. I have Spoken with and sent Mr. Cooper proof of payment for Property taxes and Insurance, in order to avoid there charge added to my monthly payment but I have not had success taking that monthly charge away with the proof that was sent to them. I have reached out to consumer affairs for the second time in order to help me resolve this issue. They have recommended I submit a complaint with the Consumer Finance Bureau. Since they also believe I should not have to go through the same problem again.

Consumer Complaint: I have had a mortgage loan with Nationstar for about 10 years and they are now Mr. Cooper advertising that nothing has change except our name. That is not true. I called Mr. Cooper as I had not received my XXXX XXXX from them for my taxes ( interest on my impound account which Nationstar always paid in the amount of about {$25.00}. ) This is the first time I had not received a XXXX. After 10 years of getting interest on my mortgage impound account from Nationstar now Mr. Cooper tells me that they no longer have to pay interest on impound accounts and they don't have to send XXXX to customers in California. This company services 3 million mortgage loans and if this is true and every loan averages $ XXXX/year interest on the impound account that they don't have to pay any longer that is a XXXX XXXX dollar windfall to XXXX XXXX each year and they are false advertising to say that nothing changed except the name. Consumer Complaint: Credit report shows a real estate account as open that is closed. Loan was refinanced in XX/XX/XXXX with same company and as part of this original loan was paid in full but account still shows as open with a balance and monthly payment amount. Essentially account shows double mortgage balance and double payment as current when one replaced the other. I called the company in XX/XX/XXXX to resolve this but credit report still shows account as open.
