Consumer Complaint: Back in 2009 I filed for BK included XXXX XXXX XXXX my Morgage company at that time. After the BK cleared they still refused to take over the house. I have called and written to them asking them to stop postponing the foreclosure date and even tried the dead in lue. After that they sold my account to XXXX and then to NationStar Morgage. I have tried with all these companies to have them stop postponing the foreclosure date and the dead in lie. No luck. I have the HOA taking me to court for the last 2yrs. I have no income coming in. This has been more than 5yrs, why do they keep denying my dead in leu and keep stoping the foreclosure? I do n't know what else to do. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: Almost five years ago I was forced to file a chapter XXXX bankruptcy after years of battling with our health insurance and XXXX bills from my wife. She had a XXXX that caused her several complications and XXXX issues that continue to date. When I filed bankruptcy we met with a attorney and explained we would like to stay in our home and he suggested we try to modify with our lender to make our payment within our budget. We requested a modification and it was done around the same time as our bk filing. Our mortgage is with Nationstar Mortgage and we have had the worst experiences with them. When we initially refinanced with them we were told we could refinance into a lower rate/payment a year after we signed on our high and adjustable rate. We called them in a year our loan officer was no longer working there and they were not FHA approved so we could n't get out of the loan we had. I requested a payoff a couple weeks ago and it shows we owe over {$250000.00} with {$50000.00} in misc fees.

Consumer Complaint: I have a mortgage with Nationstar Mortgage and my mortgage payment includes an amount for my homeowners insurance. Nationstar has failed to make the insurance payment again this year and my policy has been cancelled again. This is the third year in a row this has happened and each time it happens the insurance company raises my insurance premium for the next year. I 'm stuck paying higher insurance premiums every year because they will not pay the premiums on time.

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage was sold by XXXX XXXX XXXX to Nationstar Mortgage. I looked up Nationstar online and read all of the horror stories about how inept of a company Nationstar is. So I refinanced my mortgage with XXXX XXXX and the process went smoothly. XXXX paid my loan off on XXXX XXXX. I was told many conflicting stories about when I would receive a check with my escrow balance when I called their support center multiple times. I was told my balance was cleared to be sent on the XXXX and a check was mailed on the XXXX that I never received. They will not send my check by certified mail/XXXX/XXXX with a tracking number and they wo n't wire my money to me. They are purposely sitting on my escrow balance of {$1800.00} and wo n't send it to me.

Consumer Complaint: Nationstar Mortgage adjusted our mortgage payment without providing the disclosures required by 12 USC 1026.20 ( d ). We received no notice XXXX days prior to the adjustment date, and therefore did not receive the disclosures and information that would have led to reduced mortgage payments through refinance or other methods. I have asked them about this and they refuse to acknowledge their responsibility to provide this mandated disclosure. Additionally, Nationstar, even after multiple requests, refuses, or is unable, to provide a copy of the Note with all modifications thereto as required by California Civil Code section 2943 ( b ). Nationstar claims XXXX XXXX as Trustee is the owner of the Note, but all they have provided is a copy as it was on the day it was signed, showing XXXX XXXX as the lender.

Consumer Complaint: I am attempting to pay off my mortgage by transferring my escrow balance to my mortgage balance. Calls to customer service result in very extended hold times. I have averaged at least an XXXX on hold with them each time I call. The different departments do n't talk to each other and are obviously not cross trained or even trained at all. I have been trying to pay this loan off for going on XXXX weeks now and no one can even tell me why it has not already happened. One dept transfers you to another instead of trying to fix your problem. Absolute worst customer service ever. Now they are trying to add on late fees and fax fees as well as doing collections calls. And the entire balance of my loan is sitting in escrow waiting to pay the balance off.

Consumer Complaint: We are trying to refinance our house. We had been with XXXX which sold out to XXXX XXXX XXXX and has now sold our mortgage to Nationstar. We have given written and verbal permission to Nationstar to share information with XXXX XXXX Bank to refinance. This process started the XXXX week of XX/XX/XXXX. For some reason the loan was being held up and not being released to XXXX XXXX Bank. We were finally able to find out that they were stating we had XXXX liens on our house. It seems that when we bought the house and we used VA to purchase and then a few years later when we refinanced we went with FHA. The VA loan was never removed by either XXXX or by XXXX XXXX XXXX. So we have asked Nationstar to remove the VA loan as it is not correct, we are being stonewalled. We are told it would take a month to remove. I sent an email requesting that this should not take a month to correct an error of this type and was told that it would be considered and we will be notified XX/XX/XXXX. I feel that our mortgage is being held " hostage '' because they for some reason do n't want to release it to XXXX XXXX. I ca n't think of any other way to explain this. All the people who have been trying to obtain information are amazed as to the way we have been treated. The numerous people I have spoken to at Nationstar have been very unhelpful. I have even call the corporate office and the woman I spoke to was amazed that this was going on. We just want to move on and change companies and complete this process.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2015 we refinanced our loan with Nation Star Mortgage ( the loan was already with them ). All disclosures, Estimated Fees and Costs, the Federal Truth in Lending Disclosure Statement, the Payment Letter to Borrower, the Impound Authorization and Payment Notification, the Initial Escrow Account Disclosure Statement, etc., and the repeated assurance of our loan officer stated the same thing : our PMI payment was {$330.00}. The first payment statement ( in XX/XX/XXXX ) from Nation Star had PMI at {$330.00} as agreed. Now on XXXX XXXX, I get a statement telling me that my PMI is now {$540.00} - a SHOCKING increase of {$210.00} every single month - that is {$2500.00} per year! I called Nation Star today and they had absolutely no information except to say that they ( the escrow department ) had " just gotten all of the information '' and that my PMI is now {$540.00} per month and that they needed even more additional money per month because they " did not ask for enough up front at closing for their 'cushion ' so there is a shortage that is also going to require an additional {$65.00} for the next year so that they have the proper 'cushion ' on hand. '' This is a fixed rate mortgage. The principle and interest are {$2400.00} per month. The disclosed/agreed PMI was {$330.00}, the hazard insurance was {$100.00}, and the taxes were {$390.00} for a total monthly payment of {$3200.00}. Now they are claiming P & I is {$2400.00}, PMI is {$540.00}, insurance is {$120.00} ( which I expected because Nation Star told us to get more insurance in XX/XX/XXXX so it increased the annual premium by {$100.00} per year ), taxes are {$390.00}, and the escrow " cushion '' shortage payment of {$65.00}, for a new total payment of {$3500.00}. This is almost {$300.00} per month higher than disclosed and agree just one month after our first payment! Had we known that the PMI payment could fluctuate like this, we would NEVER have agreed to this loan - we had other options! We spent over an hour on the phone trying to get some answers, but got no where beyond " that 's just what you owe '' and " that 's how the numbers came in when we got them. '' This can not be right! Please help!!!
