Consumer Complaint: XXXX This is not a duplicate *** There have been many activities of fraud activities on my mortgage account XXXX due to NationStar lack of security. With NationStar lack of security my account was compromised and harm has been caused to me. There were multiple delinquencies due to my tenant compromising my account and changing my contact information to her contact information. This was done without my awareness or consent. There has been falsified letters written by my tenant and a loan recodification also done by my tenant. All done without my awareness or consent. NationStar wo n't cooperate with such evidence. There was a letter written by my tenant pretending to be me requesting for authorization. The phone number on the letter is her cell phone number. The letter is page XXXX of a fax, but NationStar wo n't provide page XXXX XXXX fax cover page ) which will show that the fax was sent from her place of work. Also, there was a loan modification done to my account by my tenant by her contacting the " Making home affordable '' department to reduce the amount of monthly payment. In the documentation provided, Page XXXX shows the fax cover sheet which shows that my tenant XXXX XXXX was the one that did the loan modification. Upon bringing it to NationStar 's attention, NationStar was quick at looking the other way, yet forge the documents by removing page XXXX XXXX Fax cover page ) and then stating that no fraud has happened on the account. Yet, after forging the document, upon still requesting other information, another rep provide the same document and this time the document had page XXXX ( fax cover sheet ) So NationStar forged the document to hide the fraud evidence. After bringing the multiple fraud activities to NationStar attention, NationStar then stated that there was a voice call in 2006 of someone granting my tenant authorization over to my account. Yet NationStar wo n't provide me with a copy of the recording that would also proof further fraud activities. I have not requested nor granted authorization to anyone over to my account. The letter, loan modification and voice phone call was all done out of fraud activities of someone pretending to be me. If someone pretending to be me, that is Identity Theft and is considered fraud and NationStar is supporting it by forging documents removing evidence and not providing other proofs which will further proof fraud. The delinquents that happened on my account were fraud, cause by my tenant compromising my account due to NationStar lack of security.

Consumer Complaint: My mother 's reverse mortgage serviced by Champion Mortgage went into foreclosure for failure to pay taxes & homeowners insurance. When she finally told me what was happening I sent the loan servicer, Champion Mortgage, an authorization for me to access her account info ; it took them several days & multiple faxes for them to update the account & speak with me. After repeated calls I was only able to obtain a verbal quote of {$18000.00} to cure the default - Champion refused to provide written breakdown of costs, nor written confirmation that the amount would stop the sale. I confirmed several times with XXXX XXXX XXXX at Champion that {$18000.00} was correct & on XX/XX/XXXX I sent XXXX cashiers checks totaling {$18000.00} to their XXXX MI office as instructed ; I sent it via overnight XXXX & have XXXX delivery confirmation for XX/XX/XXXX. Since XX/XX/XXXX I have called nearly every day to confirm account is current & to request breakdown of what the {$18000.00} paid for. I have detailed notes of who I spoke with & when. XXXX reps, XXXX & XXXX, were very professional & really did try to help me within the confines of their company, but several reps were unbelievably rude, condescending & nasty : XXXX & XXXX in particular were incredibly unprofessional & rude ; XXXX hung up on me when I repeatedly requested a supervisor, the other would repeatedly put me on hold for extended periods of time ( over 10 minutes ). It has been over 2 weeks & Champion has my mother 's XXXX & are still proceeding with foreclosure. I spoke with the Trustee conducting the sale & they have not received notice to vacate the sale. I work in XXXX & understand the system & still, I ca n't get this account cleared up, or even obtain an accounting of the money. How can an elderly person with no industry experience hope to sort things out? I know that a reputable loan servicer has no difficulty providing a written statement nor applying a default cure payment ; I deal with many lenders at work & know what to expect. This is beyond the pale. They also gave me a false foreclosure date of XX/XX/XXXX to push me to send money quickly ; per the Trustee the actual sale date is XX/XX/XXXX. Remember-this is a reverse mortgage, specifically for the elderly - there is no way that my mother would not stand a chance of getting this account cleared up & stopping the sale. I need help to force them to acknowledge the cure funds, stop racking up trustee foreclosure fees & provide an accounting ... please help.

Consumer Complaint: I am currently on a three year Modification Plan with my mortgage company. This Plan will end in XXXX, XXXX. I was notified that beginning XXXX, XXXX, my monthly mortgage payment would increase by {$210.00} because my Escrow Account was in a deficit. I did not understand this and contacted the mortgage company. The Representative did explain that my Homeowner 's Insurance had increased by {$300.00} but that my Real Estate Taxes were reduced by {$200.00}, but, she tried to explain that these were not the reason why the account was in a deficit. She did, however, assist me in stretching this payment over a 24 month period, reducing the additional monthly amount to {$63.00} and she did email me a breakdown of my Escrow Account Activity. Upon my review of this activity, I was still not able to determine how the account went into a deficit nor how would the mortgage company allow this to come to pass. I ca n't say for sure that its true but it appears that they are trying to have me lose my home, that I have worked so hard to keep for over 10 years.

Consumer Complaint: Nationstar Mortgage ( perhaps the worst loan servicer on the planet ) continues with their negligent handling of my loan. They recently sent me correspondence containing numerous errors related to the upcoming adjustments on my interest rate ... i.e. an incorrect floor rate, incorrect first adjustment limits ( too high ), and incorrect estimate payment information. I called customer service and the representative fully agreed with my concerns in reading my Promissory Note and opened a " research request '' # XXXX ; however, Nationstar has not responded and I 've been unable to get any resolution by phone ( after over 1 hour and 15 minutes on hold with XXXX or XXXX, and numerous transfers and hangups.

Consumer Complaint: XXXXNationstar Mortgage foreclosed on my father 's home at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX CT XXXX & the title did not revert back to the bank until XXXX/XXXX/2015. XXXX/Nationstar Mortgage illegally locked me out of the home from XXXX to current not allowing me to retrieve my personal belongings. I have tried for well over a year to get access to the home by the bank but have been ignored and unacknowledged. This complaint is not about the foreclosure itself but about the process that was not followed by the bank to evict my personal belongings. According to the law, the bank forecloses on the real property not the personal belongings inside the house. The personal belongings became a tenant to the house and the bank then would need to file the appropriate paperwork to have the belongings removed. The only person who can remove property from a home is a XXXX XXXX and that is only after ejection paperwork has been filed and processed and approved by the courts. I notified the Nationstar 's hired bank representative XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX in XXXX CT once I notice they had the home on the market and identified that the property inside the home is mine and I needed to retrieve it. She refused me any access and said she did not know how to get in touch with the bank. I asked her for contact # or email to the bank and she said she did not have XXXX. Immediately the next day I was advised by XXXX of my former neighbors that the house was being unloaded and dumpsters were being filled up ( see pics ) as well there were multiple pick-up trucks loading my property inside their vehicles. I again attempted contact with the banks hired representative XXXX of XXXX and she refused to help and told me she did not know how to get in touch with the bank. I said what they were doing was illegal and they had no jurisdiction to take my property from the home. In the meantime we were in contact with XXXX XXXX, State Prosecutor for the XXXX XXXX Connecticut XXXX Court who help us initiate an investigation with the XXXX Police for both criminal/civil actions. The XXXX Police have an open case file on this matter ( still open ) and they also have been in contact with all the parties as well. The police advised all parties that no property was to be removed any further from the home and everything was to be put back into the home from the dumpsters. They again were ordered to put all the property left in the last of the XXXX dumpsters back into the house and advise all representatives that there was a criminal investigation going on & that it was illegal to remove it.

Consumer Complaint: In 2013 I was given a HAMP modification. I had a company help me, At that time Nationstar was and is my servicer. At that time I reported an income of {$5200.00} per month in gross earnings. They gave me a payment of {$2400.00} that 's almost a 50 % I failed after 5 payments. I spoke to them and what they told me is that I was on a HAMP Tier 2 and that everything was done how it should be. I have never heard of 50 % of income on a mortgage payment.

Consumer Complaint: We were attempting to do a short sale. Nationstar mortgage changed the locks on the home and forced the utilities in their name. They supposedly winterized the home but the pipes froze and the home was flooded and had to be completely gutted. They have since been sued by XXXX XXXX for their negligence. Theyb forced utitlitiesn in their name but they never put on the required forced insurance. We had received an offer that if not accepted we could have put in the remaining funds to cover it. Nationstar and XXXX kept telling us it was tghen other parties problem. This now reports as a foreclosure. Our ability to sell the home was taken away.

Consumer Complaint: After being underwater for 8 years in my condo and struggling financially, I was finally able to apply to refinance my mortgage in XXXX XXXX. The refinance date was scheduled for the end of XXXX. However, in XXXX the bank attorney, XXXX XXXX, contacted me by phone to say that there was a problem with the title to my condo. He informed me that he was in the process of contacting Nationstar Mortgage to resolve this issue. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( see attached ), he contacted Nationstar legal department via email. After no reply from Nationstar he tried contacting them by phone multiple times with no response. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, ( see attached ) Attorney XXXX sent me a letter stating after multiple attempts he has not been able " to secure the missing assignment in your chain of title, '' as noted in his XXXX XXXX, XXXX letter to Nationstar. Please note at the bottom of Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX update letter to me, he stated that he " received the enclosed response from Nationstar ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX ), which states that I should hear back from them XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I have patiently called them and emailed them on numerous occasions without any success. Unfortunately all we can do is continuously request the missing assignment. You should do the same and call Nationstar at ... '' It should be noted that Attorney XXXX was stating this because of Nationstar 's lack of a timely resolution which was jeopardizing the rate I had locked in. In XXXX XXXX, I purchased my condo through XXXX XXXX XXXX. In the fall of XXXX, I was notified by XXXX XXXX XXXX that they were transferring my mortgage to Nationstar. In XXXX XXXX, I started to be billed, and made my mortgage payments to Nationstar. Please note : In the attached files that " XXXX XXXX '' is mentioned ... I have no idea where that came from because I had never heard anything about XXXX XXXX during the mortgage transfer. After buying at the height of the market in XXXX, and not being able refinance for 8 years because I was under water, I am learning that there 's a problem with the title ... I do n't understand how this could happen. I 've always paid my mortgage on time with never being late. This issue is significantly impacting my financial future. I am in my XXXX, and have 20 years left on my mortgage as it stands now. With the refinance opportunity I would be able shave off 5-years and lower my monthly payments by {$150.00}. Furthermore, with this title issue, I 've learned that my condo can not be sold. Personally, I have called Nationstar multiple times at ( XXXX ) XXXX to see if I could get them to accelerate the resolution to this issue. I have requested to speak to supervisor/manager and have been denied by the woman who answers the phone. I only know her name as " XXXX. '' At one point when I was in tears, I insisted to speak to someone other than her. She absolutely told me that I could not speak to anyone but her. I am hoping that you will be able to help me with this situation because I am desperate and running out of time.
