Consumer Complaint: I applied for a modified mortgage back in XXXX XXXX. I sent all my paperwork back in XXXX XXXX and was told I was approved and my final documents would be sent out after my trial period payments were done. When I never received these modified mortgage final documents in XXXX XXXX I called nationstar mortgage to see what was going on. They told me that on page XXXX the notary did n't print her name on the line provided. I asked why I was n't told since XXXX and was told they did n't know. I explained I had even spoken to my representative who is no longer around XXXX XXXX and she said it was all being sent. They advised they were resending the paper work to be resigned. I had to call again stating I still have not received the paper work and was told oh sorry it was not sent. I finally got it and then received a notice one week later saying I owe payment of XXXX from XXXX when trial payments started and my modification is denied due to no paper work ever submitted in XXXX as per a representative XXXX. As of this date I ca n't get in touch with my assigned rep. What am I suppose to do now???

Consumer Complaint: I received my coupon from Nationstar Mortgage for XXXX payment and saw it had increased by {$830.00}. When I called them to inquire why, they said my 10 year adjustable rate interest only note had set to principle and interest and amortized over 20 years to be paid in full. I asked why I was n't notified sooner and was told I was sent a letter in XXXX. Since I had never received it, ( my mortgage was transferred to them from XXXX in XXXX ) they just sent me a copy ( received today ). I 'm blindsided! Had I seen it earlier I would have applied for a Harp loan to make this payment more affordable. I did apply and was turned down because of the 30 day late notice from my second trust holder, XXXX, placed on my credit report this month! When I got these loans back in XXXX XXXX, my husband had just died 6 months earlier, and my son was going off to college. I am the original owner of this home since XXXX and I would never had placed a 1st trust mortgage with a 2nd trust equity line ( needed because my son was going to college ) with a 10 year knife hanging over my head knowing both mortgages would set at the same time and increase my payments combined by {$1800.00} a month without doing something about it before it happened. Now I stand to lose my house because I just learned today when I applied for a Harp loan that the second trust holder, XXXX put a 30 day late payment on my credit because my payment went up with them as well and my automatic payment to them was insufficient. Now I am told with the 30 day late ( my first ) I can not apply for a Harp loan. I am going to be forced out of a house I have lived in over 30 years into housing that will be more expensive at the age of XXXX! Why? I 'm asking for these lenders to work with me and not force me out of my home. If I 've made my payments on time, every time, except for this month with XXXX over lack of communication, why ca n't I get approved for a fixed rate harp loan, amortized over 30 years while interest rates are low? While I tried several times, I was told I ca n't qualify for a regular refinance because my ratios are too high! XXXX says they wo n't even send me a statement until I pay what is owed fully. What they report as delinquent is not the amount owed. I am shaking my head. How can something like this happen? Is it the intention of the banking industry to put people out on the street with these predatory lending practices and dangerous loans? I got a loan I could afford when I needed it most and never realized it could jump almost {$2000.00} in one month for the next 20 years, especially without due notice. As soon as I found out I called the lenders and asked for help, having it fall on deaf ears and my credit destroyed. Can you help?

Consumer Complaint: I had multiple terrible experiences with nationstar mortgage and it has been surrounding and issue that has been going on since the transferred of my loan from XXXX to nationstar on XXXX XXXX 2014. It almost been 2 years with no resolution and nothing to show for it but anger and awful customer service. I constantly given misinformation and consistently given the run around on their behalf. I been wanting for them to assist me with a new opportunity to keep my home. It is my priority to keep my home and start making my payments immediately and I do intent to pay off the past due amount that caused me to fall behind on my mortgage payment, I have explained my self to them and had told them about the situation that I am in and the reason of why I 'm in default. It was not intentionally done natural disaster do happen and I totally regret this big mess. I understand I failed to make my payments around the time of the begging of the modification. I believe we could have avoided this mess and they could had help me avoid from my debt to grow bigger and bigger as it grows more every single month because there is not a resolution. I ve never had modified more than one time they constantly keep denying me within a day or two after I submit a new RMA application it 's been more than 20 times that I submit the same documents over and over and we do n't get anywhere with this. It seems like they are reviewing the documents but within a day or 2 they automatically denied me it 's been happening for more than 20 times. Now It does n't matter to them if I keep on submitting new documents their own representatives have told me that regardless of me submitting new RMA or documents they Will automatically be denied and not considered. I tried to get a hold of my note holder to explain him my situation and that I want an opportunity to keep my home and start making my payment immediately, if I have not been making any payments after XXXX is because nationstar mortgage did not allowed me to make month to month payments. They would only accept money if it was the full amount of the debt paid I perhaps took the wrong decision of making the repairs to the property and I used the majority of the funds I had to pay the contractor that was hired. I was affected twice on the same year. We all know that the weather in XXXX and the surrounding suburbs always get floods damages or more all the time specially when there is alerts of tornadoes and strong wind.and heavy rain. I have done everything on my behalf but it 's useless I would like to know if I am able to file a law suit against nationstar I know there is a lot of home owners that have nationstar mortgage and that are experiencing the same or worse situation than me. I hired a company who resulted to be a fraud company and fake in the state of California I gave them a change because they convinced me that they could help me work things with nationstar mortgage and they resulted to be fake and I lost all the money that I paid to them for there service to represent me legally. I have experience difficult times and I 'm still standing up wishing for a miracle to happen. All I want is to proof to nationstar that my priority is to keep my home and start making my mortgage payment immediately and the only thing that is on the way is this debt of XXXX approximately. I do XXXX to pay off my debt and to get caught up on my mortgage payments ASAP. My home its my primary residence nationstar has denied me the opportunity to apply for Hamp 1. Or any other type of modification they keep saying I have exceed the maximum number of modification I have only modified once in my entire loan life and even though I failed, more than a year has pass by my priority and number 1 goal is to keep my home and start making my payment and established a good relationship with nationstar from here on.

Consumer Complaint: After my residential home loan servicing transfered from XXXX to Nationstar, I got a letter from Nationstar at the first escrow review that my escrow payment would increase from around XXXX. It was then I realized my escrow balance was - {$1200.00} even though I 'd had the XXXX loan for 10 years and only minor, occassional fluctuations in payment. My insurance and property taxes are about the same, yet I have a negative balance?? Not possible. Funds were not transferred. Nationstar is dragging with response and still plans to nearly triple my escrow payment.

Consumer Complaint: I have been trying to work out a payment solution with Nationstar mortgage for years after my loan was transferred from XXXX XXXX XXXX and I suffered huge financial losses. The amount of time I spent submitting and resubmitting paperwork to their various loan specialists was like a part-time job. They would not let me send money to them to try to get back on track and seemed to stall until posting a sale date on my home. They also would n't submit all the information about my loan that I requested. I have been working with financial counselors and doing everything I can think of to fix the problem.

Consumer Complaint: My mother had to go to an XXXX XXXX facility in XXXX or XXXX. She threw away all of her paperwork ( insurance, loan, etc ) I did not know until she was very ill that she had a reverse mortgage. XXXX bought her loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have a POA and I have been asking XXXX for documents, contracts and a loan history since XXXX of last year. I finally received paperwork in XXXX of XXXX and two days later was informed they are starting to foreclose on her house. Her contract with XXXX XXXX XXXX says the non-occupancy agreement is for 12 months. I believe it should be 12 months from the date I finally got documents. There is more to the story like they did not assign an individual to help me. Also I believe they changed the original contract she had with XXXX ( concerning occupancy ). I understand from a XXXX counselor and my real estate person that XXXX wants not only what they are owed but the equity in my moms home. She is absolutely and totally XXXX. I just want to get my moms house sold so I can take care of her. I am at wits end.

Consumer Complaint: My original loan was with XXXX about 10 years ago. They sold to Nationstar mortgage. When we were with XXXX we wanted to make bi monthly payments-XXXX said this is free to do and when we were ready to set this up we could do so. It also required paychecks/money to be into account so we were not able to do that at the time. Now that we are able to make bi-monthly payments to reduce our interest and loan term, Nationstar does not allow us to do so. We have no choice but to go to their outside contracted company who will charge us {$390.00} enrollment fee and then charge us a monthly fee for the rest of the loan term just to do a bi-monthly payment. We would have to pay about {$1700.00} extra bc they do n't allow bi-monthly bi weekly payments from their own customers. XXXX our original loan did not charge for this service and there would be no charge to us whenever we would be able to do so. Now that the loan was bought by Nationstar, the same terms do not apply and this is unacceptable.

Consumer Complaint: I requested a payoff quote for my mortgage. I received the quote via email. I then paid the entire sum. A few days later I received via email another " payoff '' quote stating that I owed {$250.00}. When I contacted the company they did n't really explain what the additional amount was for. To clarify whether or not I had paid the correct I returned to the original email containing the " first '' payoff quote. It had been changed to {$250.00}, and not the original sum. This is fraud. A company should n't be able to change an original document in an attempt to mislead people into making " extra '' arbitrary payments. The company is Nationstar Mortgage. In addition, during the time I had the loan I paid the payments online the first of the month when they were due. However, despite making timely payments I would receive a monthly statement saying that I paid the mortgage late, and that I owed an additional {$40.00} late fee. I believe this is also FRAUD. It certainly is dishonest. It is possible that other people made unnecessary payments after receiving these statements.

Consumer Complaint: We are looking at a XXXX in NJ. The XXXX was for closed and is now owned by Nation star Mortgage. Nation star is requiring all potential buyers to be pre-approved by Greenlight loans, LLC., regardless of having a pre approval letter from another lender ( which we do ). Greenlight loans is a division of Nation star Mortgage. Nation star in no way reveals to potential buyers that they own Greenlight. So we have a seller requiring us to get pre approved with their own mortgage company which they own and directly will benefit from. I feel that we are being steered and pressured to use their own mortgage company. Additionally, I am concerned that they will not do due diligence in our pre approval as our income is largely XXXX and Schedule E ... our current pre approval was done by a very experienced broker and underwriter who took a great deal of time to look at all of the details. Lastly, I would like to remain anonymous as I do not want to hurt our chances in purchasing the property.
