Consumer Complaint: I have complained 2 times before & the last time did not know if it went through. I have not been able to access my e-mails since XX/XX/XXXX.. I am scheduled for a summary judgement tomorrow & yet the mortgage company has falsely denied me a loan modification of which I a very capable of paying. This has been over 3 yrs & was with the previous lender- XXXX . then Nationstar became Mr. Cooper & they have FALSELY failed to apply all of my income & put false fees in with my expenses- I have NEVER paid self- employment taxes on my rentals. They lied & stated my application was incomplete & it was NOT. I filled out loan modification papers at least 7 times. They are deliberately denying my modification. They failed to apply my mortgage payments from XX/XX/2015 of which I made. I have lived at my home for over 23 yrs. & am XXXX & XXXX yrs. of age.I have done EVERYTHING required & never been denied a mortgage before & did 3 other loan modifications with another company & all has been fine.when I was ill a few yrs. ago. This all started with one late payment & now they have ballooned it to this point. I appealed the denial & they have ignored me. PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Thank you

Consumer Complaint: Mr. Cooper is refusing to share terms of a modification agreement with me. I want to know how much equity I have and how much equity I'll get to keep. I'm being told that that information will be made available to me after they accept payments during my trial period, which doesn't end until XX/XX/XXXX. My understanding is that I get all information before I have to accept anything. That's true of ANY financial transaction. BOTH parties get to agree to the terms, and Mr. Cooper is withholding the terms.

Consumer Complaint: They claim to be part of the Make homes affordable act. Basically we thought we had modification pleaded with nation star mortgage and we sent {$1500.00} XXXX. In a cashiers check from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. We did not hear back from one XXXX XXXX in there XXXX California. So we called the XXXX XXXX Police Department the officer went over and his assessment of it was people moving in and out of the office and we tried to stop payment on the cashiers check with no help from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. And since that didnt happen and we had a police report nation star. Nation star mortgage declined our modification our house with put up for auction on XX/XX/XXXX .We filed a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy to stop it. Then on XX/XX/XXXX it went up for auction again we filed our own chapter XXXX and stop the auction they had to go and get the house back. Then on XX/XX/XXXX another auction pro se bankruptcy XXXX had to go back and get the house back again. We have had some life events loss of job, XXXX, identity theft, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and now the house goes up for auction again in two days. I know its late in the game. I so wish that you could help me. All I want is to get my house back I have {$150000.00} of equity and nation star mortgage has depleted my escrow by paying three separate homeowners policies at the same time and they keep charging me for their legal bills and appraisals at my house. I get so much fishing mail emails that its hard to contain plus Im flooded with mail coming to my house. Ive also included photographs dot loop investigation of identity theft and fraud where XXXX XXXX wants to know what I want this is all part of my life events fraudulent activity in a venture I took in real estate to help me pay for my house cars etc.

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage was sold to Nationstar several years ago. I have had nothing but problems with them since. My husband and I have only social security as income. We live on a tight budget and emergencies can cause big problems. Got behind on payments and did a modification and was paying on time and early until we had a problem and got behind. Person helping me was no help at all. Never told me I could put arrears in a repayment plan. Instead offered another modification. I explained from the very beginning, when I was only a few payments behind, that I did not have internet and she needed to mail me the forms to fill out. I already knew the documents they would also need so I had them ready. After phone calls, voice messages and emails, six months later I'm told they don't mail paper forms!!! Now when I ask about repayment I'm told they looked into doing it in XX/XX/2018 but it was a year and I didn't have the amount available, whatever that means. I ask why I wasn't told about this and I'm told they only send a letter if I get approved??!!! This company is a mess and now I face foreclosure. I was never treated right and want to file a formal complaint against Mr Cooper and XXXX XXXX my dedicated loan specialist. Very poor quality work on my behalf. This should have been resolved within a few months as a repayment plan. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Consumer Complaint: I feel like I have been scammed by XXXX/XXXX XXXX XXXX with a second mortgage that I took out of on my home. I closed on a loan in XX/XX/XXXX for {$90000.00} with an interest rate of 9.875 for a 15 year term. Subsequently, XXXX XXXX XXXX sold the loan to Mr Cooper. My current balance after 12 year is approx {$79000.00}. I examined this balance a bit more closely because I was expecting to have paid off much more after 12 years. I then projected forward to XX/XX/XXXX which is 3 years away and it then dawned on me that there is no way that I will pay off the loan at the maturity date. I called a customer representative at Mr Cooper to explain to me why the balance has not gone down after so many years. Then she explains to what the loan is " ballon '' and goes on to explain that after my payment terms are completed in XX/XX/XXXX that I will have a balance that will be due at maturity. At the rate which the principal is being paid. I project that i will have over {$65000.00} due immediately. She then went on to tell me that if I can not pay the balance at maturity date that my home could go into Foreclosure. After completely understanding my predicamemt. I can not explain how much a scam this is. I went to a reputable bank to get a loan expecting that I will be treated fairly and trusted the process. After 12 years I am finding out how bad this product is and feel so defrauded by a reputable bank

Consumer Complaint: TIme sensitive! Auctioning off my home on XX/XX/XXXX in XXXX XXXX, SC I missed the foreclosure hearing. XX/XX/XXXX according to XXXX Clerk o crt. Since XX/XX/XXXX i was summons to answer complaint. Since the action started, my Mortgage co has denied the remodifications plans. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent my written RESPA requests to assist me in figuring out how to resolve my foreclosure. On XX/XX/XXXX i received their acknowledgement of the requests and would be sent to me assurances. Later in XX/XX/XXXX, i began receiving info from a debt collector/attorney About how i may want to start getting out of the house. Some of there mail came certified, some came regular mail and some never made it to me. I didnt understand the aggressiveness of the debt collectors mail. Also their strange request. With the threat of the impending foreclosure action starting back up I needed my " RESPA '' questions and audit to determine my disposition - plan of action if needed. I then learn of my missed court hearing and have been in SHOCK.. ive informed the clerk of courts office and the Plaintiff -Nationstar/mr cooper. I was not afforded my rights to a hearing. I feel there was a deliberate plan by the DEBT COLLECTOR 'S to have this foreclosure hearing w/out the defendant present. NATIONSTAR/mr cooper choice of collectors of debt should be in question. I NEED HELP FAST. XX/XX/XXXX HOUSE UP FOR AUCTION. PLEASE POSTPONE! Please help me. All i need is a chance to get my respa requests answers reviewed and then if necessary, auctioning of my home. Consumer Complaint: This complaint is in conjunction with a previous complaint I filed against my previous mortgage lender, XXXX. I filed a complaint against them for an unauthorized unapplied funds account due to their error and never notifying me. They shorted me {$1400.00} on my escrow account and then transferred my loan to Mr. Cooper. Mr. Cooper failed to notify me that they were my new lender and so my payment was late. And then they continued to raise my monthly payment stating I was short. After I conducted my own investigation and found the discrepancy, XXXX made good and forwarded the {$1400.00}. However, prior to that XXXX sent a letter stating that if I paid them {$1200.00} my account would be good and I would not owe anymore money. I did this. The {$1400.00} XXXX sent to Mr. Cooper was then placed on a monthly payment as opposed to returning it to me. I demanded the money be returned to me due to them not having permission to utilize it for a payment. It was returned. Now Mr. Cooper says that they have placed an unapplied funds account stating I am {$1400.00} short in my escrow account. I have never been late for my payments. I have documentation from Mr. Cooper starting if I paid the {$1200.00} all would be good. However now they are stating my monthly payment is going up yet again. I can not speak to the previous people Ive been dealing with. I can not get anyone to call me back. I have been dealing with this for almost 1 year and nothing has been resolved. I would like some assistance. Due to all of these issues with Mr. Cooper they submitted numerous late payments to the credit bureaus which have affected my credit score. I have never been late. I have bank documentation stating so.

Consumer Complaint: Approximately 10 years ago, I obtained a mortgage with XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX. Every month since the commencement of this loan, I have paid the hazard insurance premium on the property on my own, rather than having it escrowed. My insurance payment is currently {$420.00} on an annual basis and paid by me directly as part of a package of properties I own to the insurance agency, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( email from XXXX XXXX of XXXX attached p 16 of 16 ). Since this loan 's inception, my monthly mortgage payment that includes the amounts of principal, interest and real estate taxes has ranged from about {$680.00} to {$690.00} per month, depending on fluctuations in the real estate tax assessment. In XX/XX/2017, after an escrow analysis, the successor company to XXXX XXXX XXXX, now Mr. Cooper ( also known as XXXX XXXX XXXX ) increased my monthly payment amount from {$680.00} in XX/XX/2017 to {$2500.00} for XX/XX/2017 ( see Mr. Cooper Posted Payments document ), and demanded me to esrcow my hazard insurance, despite the fact that I had already paid the annual premium for 2017, and had been paying directly the annual premiums for over 10 years. In addition, Mr. Cooper incorrectly increased my hazard escrow to {$9500.00} annually. While my total bill to the insurance agent, XXXX XXXX might be {$9500.00} annually, such amount includes properties in addition to the one subject to the mortgage with Mr. Cooper. Lastly, during a phone call with an agent of Mr. Cooper, I was requested to pay {$6800.00} towards the insurance escrow, and sent in a check for that amount, but I can not see from the records or information that Mr. Cooper provides where that {$6800.00} was applied. ( My check # XXXX attached p 15 ).

Consumer Complaint: My father XXXX XXXX XXXX owned the property at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MA XXXX. He passed away on XX/XX/XXXX and left no will. I worked with a lawyer to get everything turned into my name and started to begin the process of dealing with the mortgage company Nationstar ( now Mr. Cooper ) I currently reside in the house with my niece age XXXX. I had no access to accounts for my father until after his death and in XX/XX/XXXX I contacted the mortgage company to get the ball rolling on paying back debt etc. I had my fathers insurance settlement and was able to pay the mortgage at this point including the back due amount. I was unable to speak to anyone directly as they stated that they didnt have the proper paperwork. I contacted my lawyer and had her send paperwork over. Lawyer is XXXX XXXX of XXXX, MA. I was still delayed for months and in XX/XX/XXXX got a check for past due amount and mailed this over to mortgage company as someone told me to pay it and they will talk to me. That check was never cashed. I cancelled that check in XX/XX/XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX mailed another check with amount past due. I tried repeatedly to contact this company, on hold for hours on end. I was switched to multiple agents handling my account and any direct line to them left me to a voicemail which i got no call back, EVER. It was not until XX/XX/XXXX that I was finally able to speak to someone as they didnt realize that my fathers name and my name were the same- they had the proper documentation in front of them all along. I asked what I could do as I was willing to take over the loan and apply for a modification. I asked for information to be sent and by XX/XX/XXXX still had not received documents. I got a call from a collector and was finally able to get documents needed to apply for a modification in XX/XX/XXXX and faxed them out around XX/XX/XXXX. I heard nothing back. I have received no certified mail, I just get bills with my mortgage past due owed. I am now in foreclosure and am able to make the payments but no one will work with me. My foreclosure date is set for XX/XX/XXXX. I did not even get any notification in the mail that this was happening, but rather heard from family who saw it in the paper. This company has swooped down on a XXXX mans house and I am trying to protect myself and my niece ( who is entitled to 25 % of the house. ) I just want to pay my mortgage and get back to normal, but this has become crippling to me as I have been given the runaround for over a year now.
