Consumer Complaint: Received an insurance claim check from XXXX XXXX XXXX made payable to myself and wife, and our Mortgage Company. Mortgage Company is refusing to endorse check and release funds to us. They provided requirements of the documents they would need to release funds, we have provided all documentation provided to Insurance Company who reviewed and approved the claim and the money to fix our home. Every time we call/contact Mortgage Company, they claim that we need different paperwork or in some other form, and often times when calling their customer service line, they are based outside of the US, there is a distinct language barrier and calls are disconnected. There are no physical branches or US based customer centers, everything is done via phone and mail, which the Mortgage Company then advises that all transactions take 10-20 business days to process. Meanwhile, the Mortgage Company is refusing to release funds from the Insurance Company to us and we can not complete the work to fix the damages to our home from a busted pipe that would restore the home to its previous state.

Consumer Complaint: My original mortgage for this property was from XXXX Mortgage in XXXX of XXXX. It was shortly thereafter sold to Nationstar. There customer service and collection tactics have always been questionable. I had a grace period on my loan and since my husband gets his XXXX on the XXXX Tuesday of the week our payment was always sent after that date. They would begin calling on the XXXX of the month even though that was the due date. They were robocalling some times XXXX10 times a day. Most of the time there was never anyone XXXX XXXX of XXXX we were contacted from a representative from Greenlight Loans. They never identified themselves as having any affiliation with Nationstar and in fact I was very vocal with my discontent with Nationstar.They charged us XXXX in as in closing costs and it was not until the first payment was to be made that I found out that it was the same company. I was out of work for a period of 9 months and my husband had a XXXX XXXX and began experiencing some financial difficulties. We reached out to them in the fall of last year and they refused any assistance. We were trying to make arrangements to pay the property taxes. When someone from Nationstar actually was on the line they refused so speak to my husband even though prior authorization had been given and he is a signer on both the mortgage and the title. At XXXX point they told him that I needed to fill out a form which was to be found on their website. When I tried to locate it could not be found and was later told that there is no such form. My husband is XXXX XXXX XXXX and I work during the day and there incessant calling up and past beyond XXXX is very problematic. I was receiving XXXX mailings a week from them. They ended up I believe paying the taxes although I have been unable to receive any confirma- tion. They changed our payment amount in XXXX from XXXX per month to over XXXX a month. For years I always paid an additional amount on my loan. I was sending in XXXX every month and every month when they called I would alert them to the fact that that money should have been applied to the payment. I stopped sending in the additional money because they started sending me checks back for the amount of the overage even though they claim I am behind. I am getting very leery of sending them money as I do not know where the funds are being applied. At XXXX point they indicated that the payment change was due to a balloon payment-that the loan had matured. The documents that I signed did not reflect any such thing. I have on more than XXXX occasion, both verbally and in writing asked for a breakdown of how my payments have been applied, the monies pa paid for the property taxes and for a copy of my entire service file. To date, nothing has been received. I am also receiving statements that do not reflect the amounts that they have indicated are in their suspense account. This incorrect reporting is being reported to the credit bureau and is inaccurate information. I know that I am still behind one month and I am doing my best to get this situation under control but I need to get the payment back down to the amount which I can afford and I need to be assured that the monies that I am sending in are being properly applied.

Consumer Complaint: I filed bankruptcy in 2013 at that time my lawyer informed me i was elgible for the hamp program papers were file and the program were granted the new loan under this progam were set at 2 % for the first 5 years and my payment were $ XXXX.since then in a two and half year span my interest rate has remain the same 2 % but my mortgage has increased 3 times i am now at {$930.00}. which is now more than my original payment which were $ XXXX./monthly before entering into this goverment program .I dont think this program were intended to run this way because i am now in a wosrt hardship now than before the program. No notification are ever given and no reasonable explaination are ever given.This program were created to help people stay in their home with this server of my loan now i will loose my home and i have never missed a payment.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX I received an injury while at work. for over 16 months I was off work I was able to receive my full salary for 12 of the 16 months once that stopped I started to receive Workman comp. which was far less than what I was making. I then started to fall behind in house notes. On XXXX XXXX XXXX I received a XXXX retirement from my employer as a full time XXXX on a XXXX XXXX Retirement Benefit, with a monthly allowance of XXXX % of what I was making. because of this hardship no fault my own I can no longer make my monthly house note as what they are now. I have been going back and forth with my mortgage lender Nationstar Mortgage LLC. They ( Nationstar Mortgage ) has wilfully failed in its obligation, under HAMP, in assisting me to receive a Home Affordable Loan Modification by purposely using deceitful methods, inaccurate salary numbers, false credit reports practices to deny my request for a HAMP loan.I appealed this unfair denial with Nationstar Mortgage LLC and they used these same deceitful practices to approve a HAMP loan that I still can not afford to make on my XXXX allowance. My XXXX allowance is XXXX % of what I was making before I got injured it is non-taxable. NationStar states that all non-taxable income under HAMP is grossed up to XXXX %, not XXXX % which is the standard, to a total gross income in the amount of {$4600.00}, my monthly XXXX allowance is {$3600.00} a difference of {$920.00} that I am not making and Nationstar Mortgage LLC then based my monthly house note on this false income and expect for me to be able to afford the new payments. If I applied for a loan with Natiostar Mortgage and used the income of XXXX a month and when it came time for them to do income verification and I submitted pay stubs with my real salary of {$3600.00} they would deny my loan based on false income. They would not just let me gross up my income because they know that I would not be able to pay them on money I am not making. But they expect for me to be able to pay them on money that I am not making? Nationstar Mortgage LLC has also flat out wrong financial debt that they said I have in the amount of over {$4000.00} a month which is a Lie. I have submitted to them at least 3 times with proof that my outgoing monthly obligations is about {$1300.00} to {$1400.00} a month. They failed to address this despicable practice. Natiostar Mortgage for what ever reason is not helping me but instead seems to be going out f there way to conduct another fraudulent foreclosure which they are being investigated for.

Consumer Complaint: I previously owned a home and it was re-financed w/ a partner who had vested some capital to keep it from foreclosure. Due to economy recession I rented the property.. The partner had forcefully moved in by changing locks on a new renter. Later the loan was modified without my authorization or knowledge by the vested partner. The partner failed to make MGT payments and the home went into foreclosure. NationStar Bank would not work with my attorney towards re-modification of the MGT even though I had completed a Modification Package they sent me. NationStar failed to follow up with me or my attorney towards making the arrears current and forclosed on the property as it had significant equity. It sold the property for XXXX + Profit.

Consumer Complaint: Mortgage company mistakenly tagged my account to a " Promotion '' that I did n't initiate nor did I approve. The " Promotion '' changed the terms of my mortgage contract which inadvertently increased my monthly payment. I 've made several attempts over a 6 month period to get the issue resolved. Unfortunately, the mortgage company has spun me into a bureaucratic circle repeatedly and the issue still is n't resolved. The mortgage companies failure to resolve the issue in a timely manner led to another series of events and issues with the main issue being that Escrow was added, home owners insurance was added and taxes were added. These are items that I 've historically took care of myself from separate accounts that are detached from my mortgage for the last 10 years.
