Consumer Complaint: We are in dispute over a XXXX 2016 payment, we did n't even get a call or even made aware anything was amiss till our other issue of dealing with the annual review ( having some issues with understanding that as well, the numbers seem off ) but finding out our payment we make every month a bank money order sent via certified mail to our lenders PO Box was simply not there. We followed the instructions to get out something on our Bank letter head it showed the date we made the money order & started tracking at both our bank & at our post office box to see where our mail went amiss. Being on the phone we got our other escrow payment after the same day delivery cut off & XX/XX/XXXX payment out to them using certified mail which they did receive. About a week we now get this letter of options for no payment with adding a late fee. We call back to the offices for an update sense we had not received any feedback to the status of our inquiry there was no start of an inquiry to even see if our mail was somewhere in their building our contact is not shown as even being employed sense we had been given no last name or ID we had to start all over sending out the same fax with the same librarian. Within the about a 90 minute window we had to rush back to our bank before closing because the simple handwritten statement that was ok 'd is now unacceptable a little frustrated wondering how we can come up with anything more sense the money order was still unaccounted for & our contact at the post office was out. Luck smiled though for our missing money order had not only appeared but had been returned to our bank happy dance as we got a print out with even more details clearly showing the payee with correct account numbers on front & our mortgage lenders stamp & dated way within the guidelines for being on time, just like every other payment sense being sold to this lender. We then headed back to our library to scan the copy to email & took the extra step of re- faxing. Getting home we called again new people XXXX is real but unreachable, no one can access the fax machine nor is anyone else set up for email & now our copy of the money order is needing a " Bank Statement '' sounds very shady they are a mortgage company not SSI, XXXX or IRS its a simple matter they received the XX/XX/XXXX payment signed for at their local post office they use for billing via certified mail which means only someone at that address can even sign for the mail, had all the correct information & our account number printed to the payee cashed it in there time frame, sent the processed mail order back to our bank with their own stamp with date on the back yet claim they never received our payment & we still have to come up with a bank statement? Very frustrated, I had my husband talk on the phone because its beyond unbelievable, we just want to resolve a simple payment issue & have any adverse affects to our credit cleared. We also do n't want to be threated with action when we did send out a certified money order that does go every single month to the same address with even extra for the principal, we do n't want to waste our limited resources running to the bank, sending faxes to " wrong '' numbers or waste time sending emails that no one on the other end can even bother to hit reply or trying to touch back to people that no longer exist five minutes after hanging up. I mean we are very frustrated & this the 1st time ever making this sort of complaint, sure we all get burned at one time or another you live & learn I do n't want to that angry type but this is our home we have limited income XXXX daughters & even my husband has issues we are trying our best to stay afloat we just want some help, we even came up extra for escrow that I still have questions about payments that are now more on a paid down loan.

Consumer Complaint: we refinanced our mortgage last year when rates were lower and we had nationstar, they gave us to XXXX who said they are the parent company. XXXX told us how much our payment would be a month which was {$660.00} and we wanted the lower payment from our {$720.00} range so we decided to do it. At that time we owed {$76000.00} and after the refinance it went up to {$78000.00}, the problem now is we get a letter telling us not enough was estimated for the escrow and now we have to pay the extra {$64.00} a month. Now we are paying the same as before if not more because someones mistake, not on our part.And after it was refinanced they sold us back to Nationstar I have called to talk to someone and they gave me the specialist who could not answer my question as to how someone only estimated half our yearly taxes into the refinance when we have 5 years history showing what it was, I feel like it was done on purpose and they knew what they were doing and took our {$2000.00} we paid to refinance also, something does n't add up here at all, why are we paying 3.5 % and its the same as the 5 % thanks XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX 2016 I submitted a written request to end escrow of my HOI and ESCROW TAXES ONLY. I received a call in XXXX indicating they received the request to ESCROW TAXES ONLY. Nationstar did not process my request until XXXX 2016. When they processed the request they closed my escrow count completely. I requested to ESCROW TAXES in all communication and instead nationstar mortgage closed my escrow account completely. I have never asked them to close my escrow account completely. I have always asked for ESCROW TAXES ONLY. I am now having to make 10-20 calls to have this issue fixed and I have a tax payment that is due from escrow next month.

Consumer Complaint: Nationstar Mortgage LLC Is my LENDER and SERVICER, I have an existing complaint filed with your office relating to XXXX QWR letters I sent in XXXX 2016 and XXXX 2016 that was answered incomplete and when I filed a complainton your site you granted thier requested for another 60 days which would be 4 months worth of time all together to answer the start of the QWR letter dated, this XXXX XXXX th, which is well over the required 30 days to answer, I do n't think they should of been granted a total of 4 months, I sent the XXXX QWR letters by certified mail return receipt requested and received the returns by the post-office signed. NOW I AM FILING ANOTHER NEW COMPLAINT! I requested that Nationstar allow me to submit for a loan modification, XX/XX/2016 they sent the loan application by way of e-mail to go to the line site and download the documents with instructions, I did and completed the forms, signed the data and sent all the required documents by our state library fax machine, i received an e-mail from Nationstar the documents were received and completed on XXXX XXXX, and would review for approval. I called few times for the status, a rep would say something is missing and it was n't, and later I would call and another would say all is complete and nothing missing, this happened a few times, than out of the blue I went to check my mail and found a notice of sheriff sale date notice for XXXX XXXX, 2016, I m XXXX years, and my husband is bedridden, this notice shocked us and panicked.us, I called our state attorney 's office and faxed the proof that we made application and proof the documents were complete, and the sale is stayed-attorney as shown on the sheriff 's site. THIS IS DUAL TRACKING AND WE WANT YOUR OFFICE TO INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER., PLEASE! I am attaching the verification with this complaint,

Consumer Complaint: We lost our home in the XXXX 2015 flood. Because of the location of our home, NationStar placed us with insurance through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), Certain Underwriters at XXXX XXXX XXXX. The value of the policy is {$110000.00}. This exceeds the payoff amount, the actual property value and the amount of the mortgage loan. In XXXX, NationStar received a settlement from XXXX for approximately XXXX % of the policy value. Unfortunately, the home can not be repaired as described in the insurance settlement as it has been declared substantially damaged by XXXX County and must be elevated if we are to return to the home. I contacted an attorney and met with him on XXXX XXXX. On XXXX XXXX we received a letter fromt he law firm stating they would not be able to help us ; there was not additional explanation in the letter. I have asked XXXX on numerous occasions, both verbally and via email for a copy of our policy, for my appeal rights and for their grievance procedures. All requests have gone unanswered. I 'm afraid that our appeal rights have since expired and that waiting for an attorney may have cost us valuable time and opportunity to move forward. I have contacted my Representatives and Senators at the local and national levels with no headway. In fact, some people I 've spoken to have actually advised applying for bankruptcy or allowing the mortgage to default. These are not viable options in my opinion. The attached letter contains detailed information you may find helpful.

THE ORIGINATED MORTGAGE AS WELL AS SERVICED LOAN UNTIL XXXX ( DURING THAT TIME COMMITTED FRAUD AGAINST ME AND MY LIFE ). Consumer Complaint: We paid a monthly mortgage on line on XXXX/XXXX/16 but did not receive a confirmation number, so the next day XXXX/XXXX/16 we looked on line at the bank statement and did not see it as pending so we went on line to the mortgage company again a did the payment and this time got a confirmation number. The next day we looked on the online bank statement and saw two payments for the mortgage one paid and one pending. We then called the mortgage company telling of this error which made an overdraft in the checking account. They said to send them copies of the bank statement a the wire routing number for the bank and they would take care of it. Well the next day we did not see anything happening so we call Nation Star Mortgage again and they said they got the fax but could not read the bank statement page so instead of calling us they did nothing because they did not know which XXXX of the XXXX phone numbers to reach us at. So we refaxed the info again and after two more phone calls and 6 hours later they said they got all the info, but now it would take 10 to 14 business day to process the fund refund back into the checking account. We are being charged {$35.00} a day to the over draft. I understand it was our error for this but I do n't understand why it takes so long to as the mortgage company says to review the paper work and refund the money when it only takes 10 minutes to pull the money from our account to start with. Now they have our extra money and are making interest off it foe the 10 to 14 days but ca n't move any faster cause of this review process, which is only having A Person look over the paper work and then issue a credit refund calling it their policy. I believe their policy is only to make more money off of situation like this, and it need to be revised.
